How-to: a physical keyboard for P8 Lite - P8lite Accessories

I followed Flash-A-Holic's great example for Xiaomi Mi 4C and built a cover for Huawei P8 Lite using the same techniques.
Here's the process:

I think you can use the same process for LOTS of phones.

Android One in Redmi 6 pro

Last time i checked, ( 10 minutes before posting this), The specs for Mi A2 Lite and Redmi 6 pro are totally the same, except the network bands. We can even assume that Redmi 6 pro is just rebranded version of Mi A2 Lite for India (and some other countries where they are being sold, if any). So, is it at all possible to flash that Android one directly into Redmi 6 pro, or do we need to make some modifications to the package.
Another short question...(as am a newbie and i would like the community to push my knowledge limit a little further). Is it at all possible to flash android one on to any other phone, whatever the specs maybe(same and different).
Edit - I found some interesting facts - Mi A2 Lite is indeed the Global version of Redmi 6 pro
- Redmi 6 pro uses a classic partitioning system while A2 lite uses the A/B system. So direct flashing the stock android one rom will brick it.
New questions - is there any ways to change the partition system from one to the other?
is there some way, we 'stock rom' lust hounds get a hand on it using this 6 pro?
And did you think about the notch?
Mi a2 rom
Did it work
Jay: Did you try A2 or A2 Lite?

Basically you can't flash Android one version of daisy on sakura. You can port android one for sakura or install a previous one which is ported and almost works fine.

Hey! I've been thinking the same thing, and I've tinkered around the fastboot stock images for both the A2 Lite and the 6 Pro. The stock image for Daisy contains a img named "partition" and I think this is what makes the A/B partition in the phone. I haven't tried it, But I'm think of doing it. editing all the flash_all.sh files in the Android One ROM from the A2 Lite, i.e replacing all codename "daisy" with "sakura" so it doesn't throw a invalid device error. I'll update

Pixel Experiance and MIUI

Hi
I'm using a Mi A2 lite phone.
A2 lite offical pixel experiance or MIUI 10 does it have?
My low level English, sorry.
I may not be fully correct on this, but I believe there was a MIUI 10 port to the Mi A2 Lite, however it caused the device trouble. Many users reported their devices being "Bricked" by following such method, therefore the method and guide was removed from XDA Developers.
However, I believe "Pixel Experience" is available for the Mi A2 Lite, refer here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/development/9-0-pixelexperience-p-unofficial-t3840551
Sent from my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite using XDA Labs

(sakura) question related to kernels

Can I flash kernels made for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (daisy) in my Xiaomi Mi 6 Pro (sakura)? I mean they both have the same hardware, right?
