Hello guys
I have compiled OmniROM for Xperia M. Everything works except RIL(UPDATE : RIL FIXED ) . I need developers to look into the issue, and help me fix up RIL.​
Requirements:
- CWM Touch 6.0.3.2+ or latest TWRP (if you have a metadata error when flashing, you're using a wrong recovery!)
- Knowledge about Android installation
- A brain
- Hands​

Battery life wasn't tested as RIL isn't working.. So as soon as I tested the major features, I was back to stock ROM.

I have tried 2-3 builds with some or the other RIL fix, but its still not working :v

Any news for RIL guys?

Wow, seems to work great so far.
The mediascanner issue my phone was facing in CM11 isn't happening, which is great (on cm11 it couldn't see folders until they were renamed, and then couldn't read some id3 tags.
A couple of bugs to report:
Screen backlight doesn't seem to turn off, the screen goes black but the backlight stays on.
GPS doesn't seem to lock.
I didn't have time to test further stuff, but I'll happily try the next version or any patches you want tested (I've restored my backup as I need GPS for ingress).

Thanks for reporting. I have noted it down. I noticed one more bug, that the camera application isnt present. And other apps won't work. This is because the HAL patch isnt merged in omniROM code. So, I have to make a request in the gerrit. For now, I have added the parameters in my build. It is compiling at this moment.

There's another bug. Screen brightness doesn't change when trying to alter it. It's always on full.

When will the 2g/3g bug be fixed? I love all these ROMs, but my network carried does not provide 3g, and I cannot switch to 2g from these ROMs, because of which I get no service.
Is there any workaround to force the phone to use 2G? Like some patch or by modifying some system files like build.prop

Answer to your question is yes.. About Pavel build you can test this build and tell what's the difference and which one is better

Difference is your choice..
If you like pure cyanogen you can use this ROM
If you like cm base ROM with other features you can use temasek

right now there is no solution for that,,
if your cellular company is providing 2g than it automatically gives you 2g,,i am using 2 sims sim1 is providing 3g i am using 3g from that and second sim company proving 2g so automatically i am using 2g

Copy WiFi folder from your stock system/etc and paste in this rom's system etc...do it solid explorer you do not have to change permission just copy and paste..

Its rooted..go to settings tab build number couple of times it will activate developer options go to developer options click on root access select apps and adb...done

What to do if I lose my IMEI after installing this ROM? Would pasting the original 'MP0B_001' file in NVRAM work? Or can I restore my IMEIs using MTK Droid Tools? Or do I need to go back to stock ROM to get my IMEIs back?

I actually I do lose my IMEIs for some reason. I did everything right. Not only with this ROM but the RR ROM and the other Cyanogen MOD by Pavel Sajjad Khan. I tried numerous times. End up with no signals and Invalid IMEIs. So I was wondering if I could restore the IMEIs using the two methods I mentioned in my previous comments.

Currently I use this guide to restore the IMEIs. But it is for the Stock ROM. I was wondering wether this guide would work for your ROM or not.

Just try to copy two files catcher_filter_1_wg_n.bin and modem_1_wg_n.img from stock system/etc/firmware and paste in this rom system/etc/firmware do it with solid explorer and you will not have to change permissions

just replace mediacodecs.xml from old rom or factory reset or reflash rom,,because nobody is having that error bro,,

This ROM is truly amazing next to RR.

Hello and thanks to Syed Hassan for the rom.
I have Just installed the rom and all seams ok, but on the play store some apps I always use are not supported . The same apps works both on stock KitKat and on other phone Witch MM.
There is some fix? Could be because the device is rooted?

then modify which one is the 2g or 3g.

Hey nice to see Lineage so soon after Cyanogenmod was shut down. You say FM works but I cant find the radio app. Would a copy from RR Remix do or am I just blind and missed it?

hello, I have same issue (I didn't understood the bug from first post).
I have tried creating 2 profile:
1. when connected to my wifi network, the sim1 turn into 2g
2. when disconnected from my wifi network, the sim1 turn into 3g
but in this way the problem isn't fixed
How I do set the profiles ?

Flashing Instructions:
·Unlock the bootloader and install latest version of TWRP
·Make sure your Honor 5x are now running an Android 6.0.1 based ROM
·Boot into TWRP and perform a Factory Reset(Wipe Data, Internal Storage, Cache, and Dalvik) and reboot TWRP
·Install the Flyme 6 package
·(Optional): Install any additional packages.
·Once installation has finished, return to the main menu, select Reboot, and then System
·The first boot needs 15-20 minutes.

I have few glitches:
Flashed succesfully into my L22 along with pico gapps
1. I am using 2nd slot for LTE/4g sim. There is no option for 4g/LTE change in "Sim cards"

If Angler patch size is a very big, it mixed angler patch to cm based patch.

I did not notice the problem because I did not use the second sim card. But I think that the source is problematic.
I plan to fix it in the next version.

This ROM is very nice and very stable, but is missing some things like a spellchecker. Is it possible for things like that to be added? And is it possible to implement f2fs support? If it had a few more features, it would be my daily driver, but thanks for the work. I'm happy to see it on our phone.

I'd just install gboard or a popular keyboard app from the Play Store for a keyboard with spellcheck/autocorrect capabilities.
