Installed test build on my trltetmo today. So far, very snappy. Thanks. Will keep you posted if anything wonky happens. Nice to see another kernel here. Couldn't use other kernel in this forum as a few apps like Yousician would run real stuttery and unusable. Works fine with this kernel.

Thank you, what's your review on this kernel if you have one? I am on stock 6.0.1.
what is the difference from stock kernel or beastmode kernel? can it be rooted or should I stay on beastmode?
It all depends on which rom your going to use. Some Note 7 ports didnt have data unless I flashed a different kernel. So its very difficult for me to answer that, as everyone has a different setup.

This Google Play Edition OS is mostly stock it is using a custom kernel witch is based on stock kernel. And the kernel is mostly stock other than a few changes.

Okay, did a clean install of the latest build, coming from stock. So far, the Music app crashes every minute or two. Also, pac console crashes while trying to open it.
This ROM doesn't seem to bring anything unique other than PAC-Man logos. No different than CM13
@Shreps last build is from 03/01. can we expect further updates? as this rom is official do we get ota support?

Last build is 04/08, so yes there will be updates.
This ROM is NOT offical like the topic title said. But it's ready to become official as soon as the PAC-Team decides to starts nightlies build.
Until then, I will make manual build sometimes and still host them on my private server.
Some new builds available with all the PAC Team changes.

I just want to share this impressive ROM with you! The group called "XTS Team" just released it and I want to give it to you. It's a little bit buggy, but completly useable. Download it, install it and decide. The camera is working better than OPPOs stock camera app (rotation, quality, speed, color, features). Until now the fingerprint still seems not to work.

No, the baidu link doesn't need.
According to some people said in the Chinese forum, the camera works and can rotate using the motor control; the fingerprint doesn't work as expected.
I've not tried yet, but I'd update if I tried later. Hope this would help.
I really like this phone, but Oppo not upgrading this model really makes me sad.
