possible to transform 4GB/RAM version to international "global" Band 20 4g LTE Vers?
Hi,
The Mi Max International Version exist only in 3GB RAM and SD 650 Processor.
The 4GB and SD 652 i prefer but i need the European 4G LTE Band 20.
It is possible to unlock all LTE Bands from the SD 652 Version?
Thanks a lot

Maybe... When international "global" Band 20 4g LTE Vers comes out...

Will T-Mobile S4 work on AT&T S4 and vice versa..

Hello,
I'm in a dilemma where I have personal T-Mobile service, and AT&T service with my work. I want to purchase the variant of the S4 that will have the best compatibility with both networks (including HSPA, HSPA+, LTE). T-Mobile LTE has also already gone live in my market.
It seems the international i9505 support's T-Mobile's LTE bands (AWS 1700 / 2100 MHz LTE)
However, AT&T's variant (SGH-i337) supports AT&T's LTE (LTE 700 MHz Class 17)
Can anyone confirm if the international model also supports AT&T's LTE 700 MHz Class 17 Network?
Thanks!
From TMO spec sheets, it shows that it supports AT&T LTE bands. There are threads on this already.

ATT Samsung Galaxy S3 support for LTE Band 2 and LTE Band 5

The ATT Samsung Galaxy S3(I747) has the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 plus MSM 8960 processor. The Qualcomm MSM 8960 is capable of supporting LTE band 17, Band 4(AWS), Band 2 and Band 5. ATT has now launched Band 2 in NYC and Band 5 in the Midwest.
The S3 only supports LTE Band 17 and LTE Band 4(AWS).
Q1. Is there firmware that will make this device support LTE band2 and LTE band 5?
Q2. Is there a SW to make VOLTE calls using the S3?
I am looking to unlock LTE band 2 and LTE band 5 on my ATT GS3.
Thanks in advance,

[Q] AT&T model supports Band 3 (1800)?

There is a conflict on the LTE bands supported on the AT&T and HTC USA sites.
So is Band 3 (1800) supported?

Can I change the China Unicom version M8 to US T-mobile version?

Hi, I have a China Unicom version of M8, which is compatible with both 3/4G of China Unicom and China Mobile.
While now I am in the US and use a T-Mobile SIM, I wonder,
1) Can I change it to a T-Mobile version such that I can then use T-Mobile 4G LTE networks?
I currently can only access T-Mobile 3G networks (HSPA+). I checked that the China Unicom version M8 support FDD-1800/2100MHz 4G LTE band (according to HTC-China official site), while T-Mobile's 4G frequency includes Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz) (according to T-Mobile official site). It seems it should be compatible.
2) I currently cannot receive any Wireless Emergency Alerts message, is it because my phone is of China Unicom version? Then can I receive these messages by change my M8 with a T-Mobile Rom?
Thank you very much for your reading this thread and kind help.

MI Max 3 (model M1804E4A) LTE bands?

According to official Mi Max 3 website:
LTE band support: B1, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B20
I just bought a Global version model: M1804E4A:
The user guide indicates band support: 1/3/7/8/20/34/38/40 (Bands 4 & 5 are missing !!??)
WIthout Bands 4 & 5 - I'm guessing I can't get onto AT&T and TMobile ?
Does anyone know if there is a code dialler to check what LTE band is being supported by Mi Max 3 ?
For folks using mi max 3 in USA successfully - may I know what is your model number?
I see 3 model variants on various websites: M1804E4A , M1804E4C, M1804E4T - anyone knows what the differences are?
Thanks !!
Screenshot from same global model. All those listed online are supported. Looks like they copied user guide from Mi Max 1/2 to save money...
For model #s nobody knows and until we start collecting data nobody will know for sure. My guess would be China 4GB and 6GB RAM, and Global. Second guess - diffident hardware variants regarding display and touchscreen, 2 each in kernel -> 4 possible configurations...
Wow thanks for your reply, how do you you get your phone to display the LTE bands? Is it difficult to do? Thanks
