Method For Using Jio Simcard on Latest CM13 r27 Based Rom - Lenovo A7000 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other De

As all the indian CM rom user facing problem in using jio sim card in Latest CM r27 based custom rom such as Resurrection remix and Cyanogenmod 13 r27 by HDHR
Friends i have find a method to use the jio sim in these custom rom. I have tested this method myself.
In this method you will get the fresh rom.
The procedure looks lengthy but it is easy.
Step 1: Download two Cyanogenmod 13 custom rom one which support jio sim and another which do not support jio simcard Then copy both on SD card.
Step 2: Reboot into recovery by pressing Power+Volume UP+DOWN buttons to enter the TWRP recovery
Step 3: Wipe data,cache,system,dalvik cache.
Step 4: Install the ROM which supports jio simcard.
Step 5: Reboot Device.
Step 6: After booting make sure you get a jio signal.
Step 7: Reboot into recovery and goto to advanced option and open the File Manager.
Step 8: Now goto data folder in that you will find folder with name property just copy that folder and paste in your sdcard storage.
Step 9: Now go back and Wipe data, cache, system, dalvik cache.
Step 10: Install the ROM which do not supports jio simcard.
Step 11: Now goto to advanced option and open the File Manager.
Step 12: Now goto sdcard folder where u have pasted the folder named property copy that folder and go to data folder in that paste the property folder.
Step 13: Reboot Device.
Now the jio sim will work fine:good:
If after performing above steps you will find Jio sim not Working then reboot your device and goto data delete the property folder and paste again the property folder you preserved in SD card.
Note: 1. In my case i use as jio supporting rom previous version CyanogenMod 13 Stable (Build 20160926) By HDHR and another Resurrection remix as it do not support jio simcard.
2. You can keep the property folder safe in PC or Sdcard for future use. Because you can use this folder on any non jio supporting rom.
WHATEVER YOU DO AT THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. NEITHER ME NOR XDA WILL BE RESPONBILE IN CASE OF ANY HARDWARE/ SOFWARE DAMAGES CAUSED BY YOU TRYING THESE METHODS. YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE.

Can we use property folder from stock rom?
I will try 2moro.

If you can share the property folder here.. It will be much appreciated....

I can share but the problem is that the files present inside the property folder is associated with particular Jio sim.(Means the file in property folder contains ICCID which is unique for all the sim)

Yes. Your sim will encounter problems. Might not even work (get detected) if that ID is present there.
Everyone: Do it the right way as provided in the op.
Don't take any shortcuts. They usually lengthen the process.
Sharing the folder won't help.

Can I use this method using a nougat based ROM(supporting jio sim) and a cm13 ROM which doesn't?

[Q] Can't install roms on GT-i8160P

Hi folks,
Been trying for a few days to flash a rom onto my GT-i8160P with no success, every time I do, errors come up and the installation aborts.
I've got a rooted GT-i8160P unlocked to any network with jellybean on it, temporary cwm. been trying to flash [4.3.1][TeamCanjica] CyanogenMod 10.2
is there any special way or something I must do specifically.. I have tried to add the tee folder to the rom as said on a tut around here and it doesn't work for me..
Much appreciate your help!

No one....?
I'm sure some charitable soul can help me..
Edit updater script inside zip package. Delete assert lines...
Sent from my GT-I8160
This was the last clue I needed to get CM10.2 up and running in my 8160P :victory:
Thank you so much
To install on I8160P must make changes to file system/build.prop and change ro.product.device = GT-I8160P to GT-I8160 then save and reboot.
install custom rom gt-i8160P
What changes are needed in order to install custom rom gt-gt-i8160 in I8160P. please do tutorial. thaks
You need Root and File manager (Total Commander).
1) Open File manager and go to folder SYSTEM and in the folder SYSTEM open/edit build.prop file.
2) In file build.prop you must find ro.product.device = GT-I8160P and replace GT-I8160P for GT-I8160
3) Save, reboot your phone and try install CM 10.2
No more error Installation aborted.

ok, let's see; following are basically the steps I followed to install custom rom for GT-I8160 into a GT-I8160P. In my case it was the [ROM][4.3.1][TeamCanjica] CyanogenMod 10.2:
1.- Get the custom ROM.
2.- Get the /system/lib/tee folder contents from your GT-I8160P JB installation (from stock rom). You may need root access, although in my case I could simply move trough the hidden directories and copy the folder to my sd card.
3.- Swap the /system/lib/tee folder, and put what you got from step 2, into the zip file of step 1, same place, same everything. You may very well dispose the original /system/lib/tee folder in the zip file.
4.- Change /system/build.prop and introduce a P in every GT-I8160 entry (from GT-I8160 to GT-I8160P).
5.- (tricky one) look for the updater script file within the custom ROM zip file, and delete the first complete entry of the assert command (you shall see some GT-I8160 there).
6.- If you dont already have CWM, get yourself one (I used this one [JB] CWM Recovery 6).
7.- Put both zip files into your sd card; get a copy also of gapps in case you're interested in.
8.- Back up all your data.
9.- Swicht off your phone and restart in recovery mode (up volume, home and power buttons pressed simultaneously).
10.- Load from the external sd card the CWM zip file.
11.- Wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache partition; and wipe dalvik cache (under advance options).
12.- Install from external sd card: a) custom CM rom; and b) gapps if you're for it.
13.- Restart.
14.- You shall be done!!!
Hope this really helps you.
Success
I was succesfull with a hint of the post #5 of Warpyzda.
Thanks a lot!!!

[Q] Methods to prevent Internal SD wipe?

Anyone able to solve the Aroma Updater Script where it would wipe internal SD card when installing an N9005 ROM?
If it was solved, as I saw from @Tiffany84's posts on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2490351&highlight=internal&page=8, is there a universal way for people to be able to modify the updater-script by themselves? Like which fragments of code to remove or replace?
To people who say otherwise, Yes, it wipes, and not only on N900T, but also on the N900W8, which is the Canadian version of the N900T.
Thanks ^_^
EDIT: SOLVED

1. Download X-Note, open .zip with winRAR or 7zip.
2. Navigate to META-INF\com\google\android
3. Drag updater-script to desktop and open in Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org)
4. Delete the following... http://imgur.com/F7rdFCo
5. Save (make sure you save as the same format - just click save and not save as)
6. Drag back into same directory and overwrite the previous updater-script in the rom .zip
Tested and working.

[GUIDE] How to install from flashable zip manually

Hi everyone
This is my first thread, so I decide to make it useful to everyone
Let's GO !
What You Want :
ES File Explorer File Manager (OR any file explorer supports zip extracting)
Rooted Phone
Nandroid Backup (You don't know how important it is)
1- enable root explorer and set permission to r/w (read & write)
2- extract the flashable zip to your memory
3- go to the existing folder
4- copy everything except META-INF folder to the root of your phone
5- "Must" show replace confirmation select confirm
6- After the copy operation is finished, reboot your device
7- Done, Congratulations
PLEAS NOTE THAT I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE ABOUT YOUR DEVICE IF YOU BREAK IT RESTORE THE NANDROID BACKUP
note if its a new file you need to set permissions of the file
most files in app are rw-w-w however some may vary depending on what file it is
at the end of the day if you have a flashable zip its much better to flash certain things than push to system so if the flashable zip has already been made for you than you might as well use it
One doubt please

yes just push to system and set permissions - normally rw-r-r
although I dont know why you would want to do this as its always better to flash the file and since you have a flashable zip why not just flash it
Just a confuse

with root browser you can set permissions of any file - please search how
it depends what framework files you are replacing - you cant just replace with any old file from a different rom - it wont work
if its been designed for your rom or you are modding your own files then thats fine
and a flashable zip takes two secs - you dont need a pc - and iv posted a template loads of times
here is it again - just add any files you want to flash to framework in the framework folder
if you want files to go to the app folder just create a folder in system in the zip called app and put files there
same for any other folder in system

Question TWRP does not show ROM for installation

I wanted to update to the latest version of xiaomi.eu, which is no longer for fastboot, but for recovery. At first internal storage had (0mb), I changed it to EXT4, but still the problem is no visibility/ability to install the latest ROM copied to the phone, what to do?
I download the rom with the phone, reboot with TWRP-3.6.2, install, zip archive anb install, after select system an reboot
I cant do antything in TWRP because TWRP doesnt see ROM copied on storage.. All tutorials say "just go into twrp and install the copied rom", I don't see the copied ROM!
You have to look in a sub folder it will no show at root directory can't remember off hand might be data or meta something like that, after the OTA updater works great
