I grabbed the newest version from the play store. I couldn't find a reliable source to DL it from outside that. So if the newest version is 1.3 then yes.
Edit-- just checked the play store again. It is indeed 1.3

Oh, darn. Guess we will have to wait for an update to fix it.

Sorry for bringing up a month old thread, but along with the screen density possibly being a factor, maybe it force closes due to Snapchat starting the app using the rear camera, which bviously we don't have. Maybe there is a way we can tweak it to set the FFC as default and maybe that will stop it from force closing?

thats a great idea i tried the current 1.6 version and i always have the same force quit after i log in so its nothing to do with the density since the app starts up normaly until i log in.
Well we can try the screen density idea make everything larger so its like a phone, if that works maybe somehow we can extract the application and MOD it for a 7' screen by changing the supported resolutions or DPI.
But if doing any of that doesn't work then we are out of luck unless someone can really change the app.

I've pulled the app from my phone and installed it on here. It'll force close after you sign in but then if you open it and receive a snap you can see the menu with all your history and even view the snap but if you try to take a snap it force closes so it must be because it defaults to the ffc

Nope. Sorry. I only have 1.6.0 and 2.1.0
I have Cablevision/Optimum and they claim that you can watch programs and manage your DVR from the Optimum app. But I have repeatedly tried to get it working and it just force closes every time. I've tried on different ROMs, on Wifi, on Mobile. Nothing works.
Anyone ever got it working?

you must have xposed , its an old bug in xposed that prevents optimum from working. UNinstall xposed and it will fire right up

That's too bad. I'm using a ROM that I think has Xposed as part of the ROM, so it doesn't let me uninstall it. I would really love to get the optimum app working though. Maybe i'll back this ROM up and test it on my stock ROM I have saved.
EDIT: Dude, I've searched google for a long time trying to find a solution, and nothing. But thanks to you, I finally know what the issue is. The only problem now is, I don't really want to choose between Xposed, which I love, and Optimum, which I kinda really need.

just get into the xposed app and choose uninstall xposed from the xposed interface itself. then test and see if that lets optimum work
So it's Xposed causing the problem. I wondered why it works on my Note 10.1 and Nexus 7 but my Note 3 just keeps trying to load it. I can live with that. My Note 10 is much better suited for it anyway.

Xposed developer posted a fix for optimum, which would start the app, to control your dvr and such, but it didn't fix the live tv steam for me. Go to xposed and make sure you are up to date on the frame work and search IrdetoFix [1.0]. let us know if you can stream tv with it.
Do you guys have the problem with an error and flashing of the screen / stealing focus from other apps every second?

Just found this module a few minutes ago and about pooped myself, then I loaded it and found that LiveTV still doesn't work. Did you ever get it working?

I guess YouTube doesn't like the Note 4. A few threads on it in the general and Q&A section. Think like 10 steps to get it to work. LoL. Guess we need to ***** to them.

Also make sure you delete any other previous Youtube stuff installed

Went through some debugging and to be more precise, the Xposed conflicting module is:
YourTube
YouTube AdAway seem work just fine and so does YouTubeAllowFullScreen HDMI.
Eventually the developer of Yourtube will update soon.
Most of Lollipops changes and design is a good refresh from what KitKat offered. Most of you may dislike it at first but personally, I'm finally glad to see changes from the old 4.0.

I personally like changes too, but it's personal. Just like women, cars and pretty much everything else

Really? I just do the twist motion to switch. That's still available to do luckily for me.
They removed the grid button from the quick toggles but would've been nice if they let you customize it. A portrait mode quick toggle would save me a tap.

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I'm pretty confident that you can as its still an official verison.
Come to think about it I'm sure I've also updated an app manually like this and then updated it on its next release (I think I did this with android wear).
I noticed the "subscribe to pushbullet updates" on apk mirror so did that for the Google camera. That way can get the update a little faster

Sure. I did the same thing with the phone apk a while back when it was updated to 16.0. Sometimes it just takes google a little longer to catch up with their own apps ??
So they replaced a really good feature (double tap to zoom) with double tap to switch cameras? I hope it doesn't do that during a recording.
Edit: So I have camera version 5.2 and it's the same as before.
They have improved noise levels in the photos recently, I liked that

I always download APK updates whenever I can just cause I'm impatient. Android Police is quick on getting Google updates post with APK links. And yes, you can get regular updates through the Google Play Store still.
I would actually have liked the double tap to switch cameras with the video recording as I see iPhone Instagram stories doing it. It's cool to film something then show your reaction.

there is new fire hound game booster coming to aosp roms by default that is almost same as miui game booster. syberia will have it in the next build. i dont know which which rom has it though

I like the ui, the fps meter you can access messages n whatapp while being in game via small window.
N yes the screen recorder with system sound option.

Lol, if you optimize MIUI it's the same or better than AOSP. I mean I get almost always over 10 hours of SOT.

Even so, I see for myself no reason to go through the hassle and unlocking my bootloader. The newest MIUI Pie performs well enough for me and I not notice any lag. And pure AOSP would be useless for me, since I need Google for my backups and alot of savegames from my games I play and of course for the games themselves since MicroG can't emulate the PlayGames Api. And last I can't compare a Performance difference to any Other phone, since my last phone before I bought my Note 5 last year in october, was an old Galaxy S4, so I didn't know how any phone performs between the S4 I had and my Note 5 and anything above of course, since flagships are way out of what I'm willing to pay for a Smartphone. And since I love to have a certified phone and don't like Magisk, I prefer Stock anyway without any modifications. The only thing I do is that I disable some useless Apps through Adb like Chrome or Play Music/Movies and my adblock comes from Blokada, that's it and I'm happy with it.
