use samsung smart switch to reflash it to stock

Í brick the phone

"The problem", I think is your using older firmware in Odin after you've upgraded your phones firmware. Meaning that you can't downgrade to a certain firmware anymore, try using the G928PVPS3BQB1_HOME.tar from Sam mobile. Check the version of Odin your using could need to try a newer version? I used Odin3 v3.12 in options only have auto reboot and F.Reset time checked. If you boot loop try wiping data in recovery sometimes that will cause looping and don't forget to be wiping dalvik cache, cache too.

[Q] Help needed GT 9505 turned SGH M919 TMob

My phone is a i9505, rooted and with latest Philz recovery. I flashed [ ROM ][AROMA][4.4] KitKat KangBang v1.0.3 [Nov, 13 2013] from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2524837.
Now i have this problem: i lost root, i can't reboot in recovery mode and my phone is now turned from the international version (9505) into TMobile US version SGH M919 so i can't downgrade or upgrade anymore.
Tried to reflash Philz by odin but nothing changed: everytime i try to enter recovery mode the phone keeps booting KitKat KangBang v1.0.3 (almost perfectly working).
What have i to do? Flash original firmware by Odin, then root and mod recovery?
Is so what kind of original firmware should be used? International 9505 or TMobile M919 one?
I'm scared to brick my device and i'd like to have it back to 9505.
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

If you can access Download mode (Odin Mode) then you have no problems. If you're too scared to try out flashing back to original, let Kies do it for you. Install Kies and choose "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization". It will ask you for a specific Model number, You should write GT-I9505 and then it will ask you for the serial number, and then it would ask you to switch to download mode and it would download the latest stock rom for your device and flash it.

King regards!
This is very simple if you want it to be. Flash using the instructions at the link then do a factory wipe from stock recovery, flash again to stock and do another factory wipe.
For the flash to stock, just head over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2267895
Follow the instructions and that will re-flash T-Mobile stock everything.

[Q] Firmware upgrade encountered an issue

I have an SGH-1747 on AT&T. I already had the OTA 4.3 update on my phone and I wanted to simply wipe all of the apps off so it was a fresh 4.3 install as it was running slow. I went into the settings and did a factory wipe thinking that would wipe it back to original 4.3 but when it rebooted it hung on the AT&T screen.
I went into Recovery mode and wiped everything to factory refresh from there hoping that would fix it and it made it worse. Now when I reboot i simply get the Firmware upgrade encountered an issue and it asks me to use Kies to go into recovery mode. I did that multiple times and it never worked. Simply kept failing.
I am able to get into Download Mode but I can't seem to find a ODIN version of the 4.3 that I can try to flash it back to. I would love to go back to a 4.2 version if that would work but I stopped before I made it worse. In download mode it says
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME SGH-I747
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: YES (2 COUNTS) - Early on with 4.1 i had flash up to 4.2 using ODIN but i have on official AT&T release since
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: OFFICIAL
QUALCOM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
WARRANTY BIT = 1
BOOTLOADER RP SWREV: 2
Any advice out there? I am thinking I soft bricked my phone but I am not sure?
PLEASE HELP!
There is no stock 4.3 AT&T ROM that can be flashed via Odin. You cannot downgrade the bootloader to an older version.
You can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658486

Thanks for the info. I actually got it fixed by giving in and going to best buy and the Samsung guys actually were able to flash it to a fresh 4.3 image. They knew it had a non factory image on it in the past based on the counter but they still did it. I'm all fixed now which was awesome.

Did you say it was recognized in Kies but firmware recovery failed? If so, and you were using Kies (not Kies 3), we may assume the last system update was not older than Android 4.1.1. I'll suggest you try these steps (in that order),i.e. if one doesn't work, try the next step ..
1. Try booting into recovery mode and doing a hard wipe/reset
2. Download the correct stock image from the thread below and flash via Odin. If you need help with flashing via Odin, please let me know
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426 or visit Sammobile.com to download the correct stock image.
3. Open Kies. Do not connect the phone yet. Go to Tools => Firmware Upgrade and Initialization. Enter your phone model name (SGH-I747)=>OK and serial number. Check device information inside the battery compartment. Wait for firmware download to complete and you are prompted to connect the phone and follow the rest of the on-screen instructions.
4. Contact the vendor to find out what they did wrong and see what refund options you have
Ok, so I also wasn't able to get into recovery.
I decided to flash cwm via odin. After it flashed the phone rebooted and turned on normally. I have turned it on and off like 5 times and everytime it boots normal.....But, there is still a problem... baseband version is Unknown and there is no IMEI Number.

Oh, it's 4.3. Perhaps even better because you may be able to flash the 4.3 restore image. Your baseband/modem is corrupt or missing which is why it's showing the no baseband message.
Please see the thread below for the complete 4.3 stock restore image. Download the stock restore image and flash via custom recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658486
Or you may just flash the 4.3 JB modem via custom recovery since you have custom recovery working. The modem zip can be found here ...

I suggested custom recovery and not custom ROM. The idea is to get your phone back in working order first. Flashing a complete stock restore image should do it. Please refer to the thread I forwarded earlier. You should be able to flash custom recovery (like CWM or TWRP) to your phone via Odin and then use the custom recovery to flash the stock restore image.

“Firmware upgrade encountered an issue" after flashing custom rom

Install latest philz cwm or twrp recovery, go into recovery and wipe data/factory reset or choose option to clean for new rom Install, after that flash custom rom.

Need Help getting to stock rom!

Ok this is my problem, I was on a custom rom because kikat was not released for my device. when it was I used odin and flashed the stock jelly bean rom I had. it worked and I went into settings and clicked update. when I came back to my tablet it had stock kikat 4.4.2. I went into download mode to add twrp and root. in download mode there was a new string of text after I flash twrp:
ODIN mode
product name:sm-t310_NA
current binary:
system status:
AP SEREV: A1
the "AP SEREV: A1" was new, For some reason twrp worked but i could not get root access so in twrp I restored a backup of my custom rom. so I gave it another try but when I tried to flash jelly bean, it gave me an error(FAILED) in oden and gave me a "invalid magic string" error in download mode.
What should i do, I am stuck on a custom rom I dont want. if it is a matter of flashing kikat in odin, then please direct me to the American SM-T310 kikat STOCK ROM file
thanks
ps if there is some new way of getting root in kikat that would also help.

If you are still looking for a 4.4.2 stock rom, try SamMobile.com. I used this one:
SM-T310 Canada 2014 July 4.4.2 T310XXUBNE9 T310XACBNE8
After that, I used this guide to root:
http://www.droidviews.com/root-galaxy-tab-3-8-0-sm-t310-on-kitkat/
and this for getting TWRP:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2619518
Never, ever do an OTA update. You never know what sort of turd you are going to get. See the Knox fiasco, or my iPad 2 that is going to be a rifle target after a retard I loaned it to updated to 7-whatever.
Two things to try.
The Toolkit and this ROM.
If you already have a recovery on your Tab, this should be simple. Download one of the rooted versions of the ROM, get it on to your tablet (SD card preferred), wipe and install.
If all else fails, try GalaTab3. It WILL work, unless your mo-sheen is broken.
ETA: Whoa, does the stock Samsung 4.4.x ROM have Knox as well?
