Whats happen when you put non supported sim card in the phone? If the phone ask you for unlock code?i am sure that there is no need to have the original sim card.

You don't need the original SIM card. All you need is the IMEI (Dial *#06# in your phone's dialer), and the carrier that the phone is currently locked to. If you have those two things you should be able to get the phone unlocked to use on T-Mobile, no problem.
Not sure if this is allowed, but I used Master Unlock Code to unlock my OG Pro from AT&T and use the phone with T-Mobile.
Thanks. I bought an unlock code off of ebay and I'm good to go.

unlocking note 4 question

Hey guys just purchased a code from cellunlocker.net and was wondering can I still unlock the phone if I don't have a foreign sim card? Just switched to Verizon so I no longer have service in the ATT sim. Is there a way to manually bring up the screen where you input the code?

The best way to unlock any samsung device is by inserting a foreign sim card.
Just letting you know, AT&T phone's are known to not work with Sprint or Verizon. Let me know if I am wrong but this is the strong consensus.
This is because Verizon is CDMA based while AT&t and other carriers around the world are GSM.
Just a heads up

Factory unlocked Galaxy GT-N7100 Note 2

I have this note 2 that is factory unlocked. My problem is I put in my metropcs sim card and the phone tells me not registered on the network.
I called my carrier to get a sim unlock code and the agent told me that the phone is activated by a unknown carrier. I contacted the person I bought
the phone from and she replied that when she talked to her carrier they told her that the phone isn`t active on her network. I simply want to use this
phone with out rooting it on my network. Does anyone know any tricks or tips on how to unlock a sim card or how to make the phone accept my metropcs
sim card with out rooting. The software is running 4.4.2 android. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

In a bit of a bind here.

Getting straight to it. I'm in the process of switching from Ting to AT&T. I purchased an AT&T SIM on eBay that can be used for AT&T services or GoPhone PrePaid services. I want to use GoPhone Prepaid services. I activated the SIM online on AT&T's website and got my new number. Now here's where the problem rears its ugly head. I couldn't figure out why it would not let my turn the Mobile Data on. So I installed a SIM Card status app and found that the SIM needs a PUK code. I contacted AT&T and they provided me with the PUK code for my phone but we could not figure out how to get it to actually ask for the PUK code. Any ideas?

Well, in my country, the PUK screen comes up after setting a SIM lock and entering the wrong code fro three times. When you have entered the wrong SIM Lock code for the third time, it will lock you out thinking you are a thief and would then ask for the PUK code just like android lockscreen asks for your email after several failed unlock attempts.
Hope it works for you.

I have a question about my unlocked T-Mobile LG G3 [d851]. I bought it factory unlocked and used it with Ting (Sprint network) for a few years. I just recently switched to AT&T's GoPhone Prepaid services and have had nothing but problems since then. I went into the store, switched to AT&T’s GoPhone services, and ported over my phone number. When the staff member inserted the new GoPhone SIM and turned it on, it asked for a PUK code. She entered the PUK code and then realized that Mobile Data could not be turned on. So there was no way to set an APN.
She rebooted the phone and at the lock screen, it said Network Locked. Ting is in the process of cancelling my account but if I were to put the Ting SIM back in, the phone is able to read the SIM and tell me everything about it. So, this phone is actually still unlocked…. But I don’t care about that. What I want is to be able to use AT&T’s services. I ended up going home still unable to get the talk, text, and data services to work.
I don’t understand how an unlocked phone could re-lock itself just because of a different SIM Have you guys ever ran into a problem of this nature?
I hope somebody can shed some light on this ordeal.

I actually found the issue a few days ago. The phone somehow Networked Locked itself to just T-Mobile. So, I had to unlock the phone again (I bought it already unlocked). Once I unlocked it and popped in the AT&T GoPhone SIM, I noticed that it did not reject the SIM. At this point I was able to make and receive calls but the Data was not working. I went back and entered the updated AT&T APN Settings and that did the trick! Let me just say that I REALLY LOVE my new AT&T GoPhone services.
I am now getting strong 4G signals where ever I go. Even the areas where I couldn’t get any bars initially now have very strong 4G signals. This is amazing… And AT&T GoPhone service has flexible plans that can be changed at any time in my GoPhone account. I am currently using their Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data Plan w/ the first 2 GBs at high speed then 128 KB/s afterwards. I had no idea Sprint was that crappy… I can’t believe that I stuck it out with them for years….

Question Sim card is not supported

Hi , please i need help with my pixel 6 pro! I am getting sim not supported error after connecting to wifi.
Thanks
Maybe your phone is "barred" coz someone does not paid the bill. Welcome to the club.. I got an option to use eSIM from Vodafone UK. So after the eSIM is activated I use an old "physical" SIM in the wee tray and deactivate it and voila.
