I've been having this problem for a while now. What happens is I encounter this when I try to turn my device on to go to recovery mode but then it would just fail booting into recovery and the screen just goes black. I tried putting a piece of paper on the connectors but that didn't help at all. I also tried charging the device once and it only showed the low battery icon and when I plugged it in, the led light just kept flashing and flashing until it dies and then when I try to check the battery status, it seems as if I didn't charge it at all. Any help is appreciated.

Shutdown & Battery Drop

Hi,
While in work today I took my phone out of my pocket to see it was unresponsive, it didn't wake. I tried putting the charger in to see if that did anything and it didn't so I pulled the battery.
Once it rebooted I checked the battery screen to see if I could see anything weird and I saw a significant battery drop, please see the image below:

Battery in status "Not Charging" until reboot

Hi guys, I've a very strange problem with my phone:
sometimes, meanwhile the phone is connected to the charge, the battery stops charging and the battery percent stay stable...
The Ampere app do not show neither "charging" nor "discharging", but "Not Charging"...
If i do a Soft Reboot the problem remains, instead if I do a "standard" Reboot the phone start to charging...
Someone with a similar problem? What can I do?
I hope I've explained myself well

Phone vibrates and shows one red pixel when trying to turn it on

I got an S3 that shows one red pixel and vibrates when trying to turn it on. Before it didn't even vibrate, because when I took it apart, apparently the wifi antenna was not reattached. So reattaching and reassembling later, it vibrates and shows the red pixel. It then flashes slowly. I am not sure if there is no firmware/corrupted or not. I am not familiar with the S3 whatsoever.

Temperature warning using android auto

Hi.
I made a trip of several hours and when I disconnected my phone I got a notification of excessive temperature warning. The phone was connected by cable to the USB of my car to be able to use android auto on the car screen.
In my old OP3 I never seen this message before.
Is it normal on this phone? Any suggestion?
I'm a little worried about that.
Thanks in advance.

I have to manual select charging so my phone could charge. But when my phone is off it does normal charging. When its on i have to select it so it could charge and thats pretty annoying.
