[Q] Not able to update Nexus One from Froyo to Gingerbread

Some info first -
Device: HTC Nexus One
Carrier: Vodafone - India
Android Vers - 2.2
Baseband version: 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-27227-g3c98b0d haley m4-dev #1
Build Number: 2.16.405.1 CL223106 release-keys
I bought this phone new from a retailer. Its been a couple of days since the device was activated. However I have not received the OTA yet.
Settings > Check updates > Device is up to date.
Is there some procedure to update to the latest Android version.
Any help highly appreciated.
PS - I would like to keep the phone clean with only the official update, and not root it.
I'm a Newbie to the Android family

I knw this reply is of no use to you and am being a bit selfish here. But can u plz help me wid sum info on the Nexus one. Am plannin to buy one asap after reading a lot of reviews. Can u tell me what price did u get it for [Am from Bombay] and if its worth it [since its an old model and out of production]?? The Samsung Galaxy Ace is my other option. Would be great if you cud shed some light - more so about the memory for App storage. Thanks in Advance! And sorry again!

Root Androi 4.0.4 Vivo S9 BBK

I Hace a dual Sim mobile come from china, The name of mobile is Vivi S9 from BBK, the core is a MT6577 form mediatek Android Version 4.0.4 Based versione MAUI.11AMD.W12.... and Kernel version 3.0.13 Built number PD1209_a_1.14.3. I'm looking for root his device but the omly one sistem that i have find is unlockroot but for my device is not avaliable a version so dnon't work.
Some one can help me giving information about or material to study. Thank to everyone

LG G3 Lollipop (D85010f)

I've searched a lot about my issue of g3 but can't find the solution or right answer. So I've an AT&T LG G3 which is great no doubt but I saw on the official site of AT&T that they've released the lollipop update for LG G3 on February but when I checked update through mobile it say's I've latest version of software which is 4.4.2. Software information is below
Android version : 4.4.2
Baseband version : MPSS.DI.2.0.1.c1.13.00009-M8974AAAAANPZM-1
Kernel version : 3.4.0
Build number : KVT49L.D85010f
Software version : D85010f
One Thing More, I've zero info about rom, cutrom rom, bootloader,etc
so I really appreciate if any one help me with this that is my phone have any root access or lollipop hasn't arrived for my phone yet?? I saw there is no SU here in my phone not in hidden applications also.
Please help me with this as all people around the world has solved their queries about their phones here....>

HUAWEI MATE RS Porsche Design Chinese verion to International - Help Needed

Please can someone help with a ROOT file for the below software versions as id like to change my device from Chinese to International version.
Is there anyone that can assist me with via another method? Please help???
Current Model: NEO-AL00
Build Number: NEO-AL00 8.1.0.107 (SP7C786)
Its also requesting software update to version: NEO-AL00 8.1.0.109 (SP2C786)
I haven't done the software update yet as I rather try to fix on older version as files might be more readily available.
I have tried a few online tools but none seem to have the files like Funky Huawei, Chimera, Dr Phone etc...
Any help/assistance in resolving will be much appreciated.

but be aware that You can get bootloader unlock-code from Huawei only until end of June !
So far I kept the Chinese version because it´s running smooth without restrictions and everything is shown in German/English except Huawei web-browser (can´t be switched to German/English) and voice - command to receive calls (can´t be switched either). Taking shots with another smartie with Google translate of the Chinese typo You can translate the settings for these.
After flashing the Int ROM You have to set up this dream machine from the scratch again.

Hello, I wanted to ask. Have you succeeded in changing your Huawei Porsche design Mate RS from Chinese to International? If yes maybe you could share how to do this safely.
