I know there is a sticky..... ROOTING STOCK 2.2!!
but there are a bunch of pages and Ive read thru them, but just wondering with the dev's, who are trying to root the stock 2.2 are we having ANY luck, or we still beating are heads against the wall with no further options??

Im the guy who does this nicely so keep that in mind, but do you see that sticky in and how its says in Bold there is NO KNOWN WAY OF ROOTING 2.2, well as soon as it is rooted that will change, and for updates check that thread and dont post Q's. Its all in the sticky, people are ganna keep telling you look there, if the devs take their time to answer everybody personally it will take longer for root.
Dude if you want Root then buy a new EVO on eBay and sell your old one. You will come out losing 20$ but its worth it.
This is the quickest route.

Except it's getting harder every day to find a new one with 2.1 still on it. And it would be just my luck that I'd order one off Ebay (probably pay a lot because root is becoming such a high-ticket feature now) and then find out the next day that an exploit was found in the OTA.
Just wait it out. And yes, I'll change the sticky when there's something new to report. If you read the OP, I even updated yesterday to say that.

That one looks nice especially considering that the xoom is in a removable case itself. I noticed some other threads where people were looking for a case with pockets, so I guess this would probably be the one they'd want.

Yeah I saw that too. I was hoping to find it for sale elsewhere sooner than that. It looks like you can get the red one though since that's in stock.
So my friend has gotten her gs3 and just wants as much pink stuff for it as possible. So she has asked me to help her find an alarm clock/pink/charging station for her. I know that they have plenty of these kind of things for IOS but I need something for the gs3. Can anyone suggest anything?
I have not seen any, aside from one on amazon.. that is actually universal, but has mostly all bad reviews, due to being VERY unstable.
if you want want now, i would say get one, and get some paint, add some gems, and call it custom!

Im actually very close to doing just that haha I was also thinking, is there such thing as a converter for the dock so it can be used with android devices?

I have never seen one... unless you have skills with a dremel, can form new plastic (to make holes smaller) and soldering (to wire in a resistor to trigger "dock mode") wanted to gut an iPhone one, and put in a USB, plug... and at that point, since the S3 is larger.. nevermind. lol.
It would be easier to start one from scratch.... but that is how you win cool points.

Not trying to be rude either. But not a single one of those cases was like the S3 case. The S3 case is a very specific type of flip case. And its hard to find similar cases for other phones. Googling hasn't been easy. I personally have spent days trying to find cases like it for a couple phones.
I guess there is not such kinda case for the Gnex
