I've done searching and all I can find is reviews of the Active LE on Amazon. Does anyone have the Active from Seidio direct? (http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/csr6hev4-wh.htm) Any reviews people have found on it?
I've been looking at the white one cause I like the contrast on it, any thoughts?

After looking closer online, it seems like they are identical cases, just in different colors. Can anyone confirm this for me?

The exoskeleton is different. It looks like the LE one from Amazon has fingers that wrap around while the one from the Seidio website appears to have more solid sides with the rubbery part only showing on the top and bottom and all the way around the front.

I purchased mine from Amazon before they listed them as being in stock and ended up geting it within 3 days of my order so that was cool.
I have the Body glove case, the HTC leather holster/pouch and the Seidio Innocase II Surface holster combo.
The Seidio Active case is by far my favorite and I have not seen anything else out yet that compares. I feel much more confident that my phone would survive a drop in this case than any of the previously mentioned.
It also has a great feel to it. I have the original black one and a Zagg screen protector.

Just placed an order for the limited edition on amazon. It said it'll take about a month to arrive which blows. I'm hoping its better than the bodyglove case. I dropped my phone with it and the case went flying off which kinda defeats the purpose. Luckily nothing happened to my phone.

The Amazon limited edition case is the best available atm. I've ordered just about every case available (excluding the cheap $5-$10 ebay cases) and this one from amazon is by far the best. Feels great, durable, slides in and out of pocket well, will not fly apart when dropped. Cant go wrong. I went ahead and pre-ordered the green, blue and burgandy as well.

I have the Rugged Case with the exoskeleton. It is worth every penny. I don't even think otterbox can make a better case. The extra shell does NOT add any significant bulk, and it is very necessary so that the rubber skin doesn't easily come off by just handling the phone.
I also have the holster. (i have the innocase holster. They say it its not made for it, but it fits mine just fine. I bought it before they made a holster combo for the active exoskeleton case)

I ask because I preordered the Rugged case from Amazon and they haven't been shipped yet. Just checked out Seidioonline.com and they are pushing the shipping date back until next week WTF!

Well I am using the Silicone case from Radioshack. Provides good protection, but I would like to get my Rugged case for two reasons.
1 - For the "otterbox" type protection
2 - Return the silicone case to "The Shack" and get my $20 refunded

It's not that great...
I've always had my phone in a rubber skin case but just recently switched to this X Matrix case... and it's not that great. The case doesn't have a good feel of grip to it, and it's supposed to be a mix of rubber and plastic, but it just feels really plastic-y to me. Bought two on eBay for $9.99 each w/ free shipping, but very dissatisfied with the product. And will switch back to old sleeve.

The casemate lacks in one thing
Onlong the top front of the phone, its just rubber. The plastic part does not reach that part.

Thanks for posting the link to this case. I got it to replace a tpu hybrid case that had come apart. I like this case a lot; good protection, easy to take off, good fit, relatively slim, cheap.

My buddy and I bought several different cases to compare. We both agree that the Otterbox Commuter case is our favorite so far for it's solid feel, and the Seidio Active holster fits it, screen facing in, like they were made for each other. I ordered my holster as soon as I tried his with my Otterbox. Great coverage for throwing in a work bag and going. Take care all.

Were did you get the defender case from?
Well, I can't post links yet for the photos (I have to have 10 posts before I can post links), and I have to wait five minutes between posts (also as a newbie)...so I can't even speed up the process. Sorry, I did take the pics for you yesterday.
As for your question regarding the Defender case, this thread involves the use of the Commuter case and the Seidio Active holster. I did however pre-order the Defender case from J&R Online, but it hasn't shipped yet. I've seen a ton of places offering the Defender online though.

I went to Best Buy last week right after I received my GSIII and they had some Otterbox Defender cases there. I was looking for and purchased the last Commuter case that day.

Hey folks, I took a few pics of the GSIII Commuter Otterbox. I had to use my Droid Incredible as my camera excuse the quality. I'm the type of person who takes his case off once he gets home so the Otterbox offers great protection however for daily removal it is a bit cumbersome.

Here are the pics I promised. Sorry for the delay. I took these pics using my S3, with both auto-flash and no flash, inside of an office. Not the greatest pics in the world, but I tried to get all of the angles of the holster/case fit. Also, this is the Otterbox Commuter case, not the Defender. I have been using this combo for a week now, and I don't have a single complaint yet. Great protection and fit. Since you asked though, I did pre-order the Otterbox Defender case as well from J&R Online. Enjoy.
Silly idea, but why not use a Seidio Active case with a Seidio Active holster?
To answer your question, I personally do not like the Seidio Active case compared one-on-one to the Otterbox Commuter case. This holster gives me a great option for a case that doesn't have an OEM holster option. Why box yourself in with a case and/or a holster you don't prefer just so you can have the same name brand on each accessory?
I have had both the commuter with an hd invisishield and now the defender... I like the durability of the defender but I don't like that I tend to get dust stuck between the screen cover and the phones screen...really bugs me... I may be going back to the commuter

I haven't gotten my Defender in the mail yet, but I'm interested to see the difference. Nothing wrong with trying out different products to find what works for you. I keep my phones for 1.5-2 years so finding the right protection is worth it to me.
How much thickness was added to to it when u put the commuter on? In the pics it still looks pretty sleek. I just ordered the commuter in green and black a few days ago.

I don't feel like the Commuter adds any unneeded bulk. It feels very solid, and the rubber portion does not move and is not flimsy, which I feel the Seidio Active case is. You can just peel the rubber back with your fingertips on those type of cases. The Seidio holster however feels really solid, and when used together there is absolutely no wiggle room or movement. I do have an open mind and look forward to seeing many more cases and options, but I am loving this combo for now.
Commuter added a bit more and the defender slightly more but the phone is skinny as it is and I was using a thunderbolt with an extended battery in a molded gel case before so even in a defender this still feels slim to me lol

I wanted full coverage with a holster. Sadly most cases that offer decent protection add a ton of bulk.
This Ballistic case adds very little bulk. Your phone still feels slim and comfortable. The Otterbox adds way too much bulk and the built-in screen protector is garbage. The Ballistic screen protector is a separate piece and can be left out. It is still not the clearest.
If you want options in a case then go with this:

I wonder if the ballistic sg (NOT MAXX series) fits in the sg maxx holster? the sg is less bulky than the sg maxx

I'm using this one http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-surface-case-holster-black-p/bd2-hr3ssgs3-bk.htm and I got it off Amazon for $12 shipped for the case and holster. It barely feels like there is even a case on the phone. I've been using Seidio cases and clips since my old treo pro.

The GS3 otter box defender holster looks to have the same sort of phone-side clip as the incredible s does. It's incredibly fragile and will break off if you look at it funny. I went though 3 of the holsters in a matter of months (their warranty service is top notch at least) before giving up on it and using a commuter case with a pouch holster until I replaced that phone.
I just ordered a seidio extended battery and one of their active cases, so I'll give my opinion of it when it arrives. The clip is an entirely different design.

yeah i read about the fragile clip and about the rubber getting loose in few weeks. Thats the reason i asked for a refund from the seller on ebay. He gave me a full refund, and the next thing I know a week later i received the case in the mail lol.. so got it free basically. Lack of communication on their end i guess. But overall I dont like the case much. I would give the ballistic a try.

Phone has survived many drops from lap while getting out of my somewhat raised truck, and quite a few from pants pocket level while standing. Never had a cracked screen, even on corner drops. Love the soft grip, thinness of the case, and that it doesn't grab onto pocket fabric when you're trying to get it out.
Ordered my Nexus 5 on day one. Got a cheapo case just out of paranoia because Seidio didn't have the Surface out yet. Hate it. HATE IT. Been checking the Seidio site everyday for the release. Checked last night when I got home from work....and saw that they are now shipping.
Black is the only color currently shipping. I've got my order in. Obviously I haven't received it yet.

Getting the Dilex, I think used to be called the ACTIVE accessories because they can accommodate more sizes of cases. The SURFACE15 only works for surface items (Duh), but I found a twitter discount code for 10% off anything - TW10. I am only buying the Dilex holster at this point.

All I know about the differences is from the descriptions on their website. I like using the thinnest cases possible...hate bulk. So for me, since the Surface is thinner, that's what I'm going with, since I know the Surface provides adequate protection for all my needs.

Yes the Dilex or I am used to calling it the ACTIVE cases, which are thicker because there is a top piece, usually plastic that covers a portion of the softer case, thus making it thicker. Great protection and one of the better cases for drop protection IMO. However, I have just been using the Dilex/Active holsters as a belt holster in combination of various tpu cases.

How do the Dilex and Surface stand up to lint? i love soft-touch but silicone is a lint trap, and I absolutely HATE the look of lint and the time it takes to get the lint off.

No lint problem whatsoever with the Surface. Can't vouch for the Dilex.

The Dilex/Active uses the same material, they just add pieces for added protection. As for lint, no issue at all. And I have very linty pockets lol.
Did anyone receive the Surface yet? I really want see how it looks before I buy it.

Love Seidio cases, been using for years.
No lint problem whatsoever with the Active now the Dilex.
I used an Active case for my Galaxy Nexus and it was great.
I wouldn't mind getting another but need to know if the wireless charging will work through the case. They only say NFC works through the cases and nothing and wireless charging.
Time will tell tho when people here start getting their cases in.

I had one of the surface cases on my N1 and my wife had it on the sgs at the same time. On the N1 the case worked well and the phone did survive a few drops undamaged. It worked less well on the sgs. As some of you might recall that phone was flimsy and the two piece nature of the surface combined with that flimsiness was a bad combo. The entire case/phone combo would move around allowing the case to abrade her phone a little bit and it simply felt bad. Exact opposite of the N1 where it felt very good and did not move or abrade the phone in any way. Mine did collect a little lint from some fabrics but nothing like some gel cases I've had. I'm guessing most would be ok with the lint factor and in reviews I've seen few complaints.
I've decided to go ahead and order the dilex version to give it a try and amazon is showing an after xmas delivery timeframe. Right now I have the ne-hybrid which is ok but not exactly confidence inspiring.

I just ordered a Surface Holster. I intend to use it with my TPU cases as this is the same setup I used with my EVO for work and loved it. Surface holster with a cruzerlite case is all i needed!.
Is there going to be an OBEX version for the nexus 5? That's a case I'd feel confident with.

I ordered the S4 active phone surface holster from android central and it fits perfectly with a TPU Case. Got like 25% off of the seidio price.
Anyone get the Dilex case yet and try it with wireless charging?
