Looking to buy Moto Z Play. PLease help out with some queries. - Moto Z Play Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a new phone here in India and I am looking for a phone which will last me atleast 18-20 months from say January, 2017. I loved the battery stats of Moto Z PLay and since I dont game much on the phone apart from normal games and a Dead Trigger here and there, my priority is will the Snapdragon 625 processor be able to handle the upcoming apps and will its battery stay the same (approx) after 2 years or so.
I am a moderate user with social media, whats app and a bit of high net usage on wi-fi. Should I go for this or spend sme bucks more and buy OP3 or OP3T?
Thanks in advance!!!
:good: :good:

I was having the same debate - moto z play vs OP3T. I don't game at all, so the battery life + expandable storage trumps the top end performance and slightly better camera for me. Don't have it yet, but ordered a Z play yesterday. I'm seeing some pretty impressive battery numbers reported on the OP3T as well, so it's no slouch - solid for one day of heavy use
Dev support seems to be at about the same level on both devices at the moment, though if I had to guess, the OP3T will probably win out there in the end - only because in my experience most devs tend to purchase devices with higher end specs.

I've never been a big gamer but in normal everyday use the Z play is faster and smoother than my past few nexus phones. After using the phone for a few weeks the last thing I'm worried about is performance. Dropping it before I get a case is my biggest concern. Get a case or a bumper for this one

I would say go for the Z Play. I have had mine for over a month and it has truly impressed me. I have thought about exchanging for the regular Z but it's insane battery is not worth the extra performance I won't notice. The thing that impressed me most was even though I use it for intense games I have never noticed it struggle. It's mainly because the Z is such a well optimized phone. I think you will be very happy with your purchase.
Best regards

first things I do after buying new phone is case and screen protector. My current Xperia Z2 fell screen down, flat from a height of 4 and half feet and my heart stopped. Picked it up, nothing happened thanks to glass screen protector.
Anyways, the dual sim and sd card option is very attractive and though I wont even fill up the 64GB in OP3T, the spare parts avaialbility and after sale support of OP is dreadful. Till now, the lord of smartphones has been kind enough to keep me away from repair centers, but if it happens on OP, i will keep the phone (if I buy it) as a memento of the stupid decision to buy the damn phone.!!

@RealiZms... thanks a lot for the reply and help..

If it gives me even 3/4th the battery life and performance after 20 months times (talking abt the Z Play), I will be very happy. I was looking to buy the Moto G4 Plus, but the heating and ghost touch issues put me off. Will be going to check the handset out in a couple of days and will order it during the Christmas/New Year sale on Amazon or Flipkart (Local Indian e-commerce site).
The only thing keeping me from splurging on OP3/3T is the horror stories of after sales service. The lack of spare parts and other things have kept me away from buying even the OP2. Hope my choice of Z Play doesnt dissapoint me.
thanks for your reply and help, mate. :good: :good:

Good day bros.
I was asking the exact same question for the past week. Got rid of my Mi 5 due to its inability to make the NFC transit card work. Non-gamer mostly social media, surfing on my phone use. Was tempted by the great 'bang for the buck' offered by 3T, but I got the Z play in the end because, among other things, the one and only oneplus service centre in my country has closed down.
Not regretting it. No need to root, etc, everything NFC transport sim, fingerprint login with bank apps, Android Pay, it all just works. No hardcore gaming but regular apps work. No annoying china brand UI to deal with.
Oh and the battery life. Insane. I didn't even bring my USB-C wire to the office

Tried the Moto G Plus and returned it due to inadequate performance and ghost touch. Tried the Pixel XL but returned it because overpriced and not perfect. Tried the Moto Z Play and love it. Surprisingly haven't noticed any performance issues aside from the mediocre camera. The UI is very snappy. However the battery will change your life.

I got indian version of z play and let me tell ya, i play in it like a desktop (hardcore) and it gives me 8-9 hour battery. I download 80+GB from wifi each month. Its been 2 month i guess. I think Moto Z Play is the best smartphone within 30000₹ including future considerations.

I'm coming from an LG G3. Loved that phone, but tonight, it just died right in the middle of my using it. It's two years old and JUST went off contract. Took the latest update a few weeks ago and then my SD Card slot started acting flaky. So, I'm thinking this is all part of hardware failure and maybe the SD slot not working was the first sign.
Gaming wise, the G3 was awesome. I play games like Walking Dead No Man's Land, Game of War, Clash of Clans, and I do have games purchases like the GTA games. Does anyone have any idea how well this phone would work with those games? I can get this from VZW for $17/month which is cheaper than what my G3 was on the old contract ($40/month). Of course, after this month, my bill WOULD have dropped $20/month when the phone went off contract. Makes me wonder if VZW did this? lol
In any case, I've read reviews and even though the camera is 16mp as opposed to the 13mp I had on the G3, it sounds like the camera is the typical old Moto camera that ISN'T the best. But, I'm not a proffesional photographer. if it's good for just taking normal family pictures, etc, that's all I care.
Battery life is the big thing. I could get the G3 to last over a day with normal talk and text. But I also game, so I suck the life out the battery pretty quickly.
Any help you can provide if this would be a good replacement will be much appreciated. I've been with XDA for over 5 years ever since I got my first Android phone.
Thanks and I might be joining the family here if I do get this phone.
UPDATE: Starting today, VZW is having the Moto Z, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Google Pixel for $10/month with NO trade-in. So it looks like I'll be getting one of those. Just found out today while looking on their website.

I actually dont use the camera much apart from clicking pics at family functions or outings. I dnt think I have even taken a selfie. the camera on Xperia Z2 was great, not only in terms of specs (21 mp and all), but the pics came out great. but if Moto Z Play's camera does what I have read, its adequate for me. If needed will buy a second hand DSLR.

if it performs the way you said, I might have made a good decision in ordering Moto Z PLay from Flipkart. Only mistake I made was ordering the white one, when I wanted a black one. Well, same thing!!

Hi everyone who helped me in making this decision. I have ordered a Moto Z PLay (white....by mistake ) from Flipkart (indian e-commerce site).
I exchanged it for my old Xperia Z2 and got it for 15k INR or around 230 USD along with all discounts with credit cards and everything. will be delivered on boxing day and thankfully will be able to update on it in next few weeks.
Ciao!!

Bad phones, can you elaborate please?
If you are talking about OnePlus 3 fiasco, its their own doing, trying to get noticed by any means necessary.

Few Moto z play brought from it are missing its nano coating, had scratches, defective parts etc etc. That's why I brought from Amazon. Even review on z play in Flipkart is bad.

i am shocked many people say it doesn't support wireless display/mirroring/miracast . Is it true ?! And is it a good buy after htc one m8 gold (with the jbl mod) in performance/multitasking ?!

I got an LG 65" smart TV, a 55" Samsung smart TV and 52" Vizio Smart TV, MirrorLink to smart TV is not working with any of them. However you can use an application named AllCast from play store (it's a paid application, the free one gives you only 5 minutes of transmission time for free), with that application you will be able to mirror videos, pictures, power points, etc to the smart TV. You can't mirror the entire content from your phone to the smart TV, but that is good enough for me.

Okay...
But the phone has 4.0/5 on Amazon and 4.4/5 on Flipkart. But I got a great deal on it on so bought it. Anyways I have had good experiences with both e-commerce sites.

I do want this phone, because of the build quality and how slim it is, that is literally the only reason, but reviews seem so bad now, the performance is terrible and it over heats so bad
Maybe its worth waiting for the P6S ? But how much more will that be?
Jack
Now obviously if the pricing of P6S is going to be the same, then P6S is better. It just matter of weeks before it gone release. Its best to wait because on the one hand you can make a better decision seeing the performance of P6S and on the other hand, the price of P6 would further reduce when P6S is out.
Other than that it depends on your needs. P6S advantages being:
- Better optimized gaming and performance in general
- better battery life
- 16g internal memory
- maybe LTE
If your not a gamer nor heavy user, then the above needs arent really important.
I dont have the heat issues in such way its mentioned on websites. The highest heat i have experienced is when benchmarking at times, and it wasnt serious heat like its gone explode but instead heat at a level of feeling discomfort of not being normal. Most complains maybe cause of people using older firmware.
Mine doesn't overheat either. I mean, it gets warm when I'm using it a lot, but I guess that comes with having such a slim phone with an aluminium back which acts like a heatsink.
Looking at the P6S i think it's going to be thicker than the P6. Even just 1mm thicker defeats the whole point of having the phone (for me anyway). Once it's thicker than 7mm it's lost its' wow factor and it's then just another phone. Plus, I think the P6S is only a tiny upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6Ghz and looks like it will still be quad-core and not octa-core. Same screen etc. but with EMUI 2.0. However I would imagine EMUI 2.0 will also come to the P6......
For £199 the P6 is an absolute bargain. Updates are coming regularly and KitKat is reportedly coming to it in January (6 weeks...!). Buy one and if you're not happy with it you can take it back (buy it in-store though, they have a different returns policy for internet sales..!)

I got mine in august from carphone warehouse for £240 and it was a bargain then. Now its down to under £200, it's a even better deal! Brilliant pricing.
As for what you've mentioned above with bad reviews and performance. I have to disagree. I'm now running the 122 firmware and it's a massive difference compared to what I had the first few months with just the stock UK release out of the box.
Only overheat I ever had was when I originally got the phone and was testing the GPS. If you have the screen on constant I can see why it would overheat, but never an issue for me.
As for performance there are a few things I don't like, but they are mainly with the software/apps, so just replaced them with others from the play store. Getting about the phone and doing day to day things it is very slick and responsive. My wife has the S3 and its much better than the performance on that. She's actually wanting to get one now after playing about with my P6.
I never play games, but have it syncing emails all day, use the phone a lot, same with texting. Bluetooth is on at least 2 hours a day connected to my car audio, and I use wifi maybe for half an hour a day. I get 3 days out a fully charged battery. That combined with the slimmness of the phone is the winner for me.
Roll on january and kitkat :highfive:

May Finally Leave Droid Line

Being a Big Turbo fan - I think I moving on to an HTC 10 - Since Google hired them to produce the next Nexus line it is time to leave Moto. Have to tell ya I have 4 Turbo 2's - 2 of them had bad mics and the 4th I believe has bad mics. I think Motos quality control sucks and to get any issues fix is like pulling teeth now. I am just tired of lack of quality of these phones. I have had a refresh and just not totally happy with the Turbo 2 performance.

I hear you and I don"t blame you.
I had the Droid X, Droid Maxx, Droid Turbo, and Droid Turbo 2 and probably the best one out of the lot imo was the Droid X. Not specs wise, but I had the least bit of trouble out of that particular phone than all the rest of them. However, I have grown weary of Verizon handcuffing their phones and me having to sit around and wait for updates, root exploits, etc. So, I have dumped Verizon's locked down phones and have gotten myself an unlocked gsm phone and am using it on T-Mobile. I have already rooted it, partitioned my sd card and am using it with link2sd plus. Feels great to once again truly own my phone.
Yeah I cannot go T-Mobile and will not be doing that I am an Unlimited Data guy, I just going to keep my T2 for now but I am going to try the HTC10 - I hate Samsung and only like 5.2 or smaller screens so LG's are out. Just frustrated with Moto

^^^+1 Totally agree, I'd suggest buying unlocked and unbranded from now on. I thought I could take going to a DT2 from a Nexus 6. Long story short, I could not. I got my unlocked Moto X Pure from Swappa yesterday. Goodbye DT2 forums, it's been unproductive.
I'm like you loved droids now not so much. Between Verizon and moto updates suck and warranty issues are horrendous. I would wait for the htc nexus devices before getting the htc 10. At least see what they offer.

Hot the HTC 10 quality is so much better than T2 - I switch phones a lot cost no object - I love the size and the quality of audio. I miss the battery life a little but I got so fed up with Moto. Not only that my shatterproof screen now has a soft dent in it - I had a screen protector too. I will probably get a Nexus if they co,e 5.2 or smaller
Experiencing likewise disappointment, can not get smart lock to work at all, all calls received and initiated go to speed dial, can't easily block numbers, moto voice is junk, tolerating those minors. Most recent, no music over Bluetooth, and the one I'm not able to tolerate, hand set silents notifications so I'm missing texts and calls. I'll be watching the HTC released also, thanks for mentioning those upcoming models. This DDT2 just seems sub par to all my previous Motorola models....And seems like monthly security or other software updates with improvements are non existent.

On top of all had a screen protector and saw a small dent in it, removed it and guess what that shatterproof lens is soft plastic, it has 1/8" soft indenture in it - right in the middle of the screen. I called Moto and demanded they replace it, just a joke that they put a lens on a phone that actually indents. They wanted me to pay for a new one and I told them now way. I am selling my phone probably but I want it to be perfect for the buyer and it is not. I truly believe the 4th device I got still has some mic issues or proximity issues. Shipped it back Fed Ex (aka they sent me labels ground cheapos) - Now seeing the new Motos being announced and everything is 5.5" screens I am kind of happy I left. The 5.2" is the sweet spot for me. Not saying I will not be back but I was not happy with the all around performance, design and quality of the T2. Tried the Kevlar and Soft grip and very slippery as well.

I"ve been fortunate to not have any problems with my DT2. The overall performance of my DT2 is incredibly fast and stable. No lag, everything seems to operate just fine. But lately, I've noticed the battery life is less than stellar. I can't seem to find out why my battery drains so fast. I have only played tunein radio for about an hour, made a few texts, asked Google a question, and ZERO phone calls. Took the fully charged DT2 off the charger at about 8 am and it is 11:52 am now. My battery is at 70 %.
I do however run PIA (private internet access) and I a, hoping that is what is killing it. Though it shows very little usage, I'm hoping that is it.
Oh yeah, last night I took some 4K video of my girl's bday for about 6 minutes and my phone was on FIRE!!! Holy cow that thing got hot fast! Guess I'll stick to regular HD video since I don't have a 4K player anyway.
I do not blame you to.
I sold my MXF couple days ago and I'm receiving the SGS7 Edge tomorow!
Had to decide between the SGS7 Edge and the HTC 10.
I think I decided well to cancel my pre order of the HTC 10, because of their constantely delaying.
Users who own both they say sgs7 edge wins over the htc. display, camera, battery, etc.
Me too. I now own an awesome Nexus 6p, and I'm not looking back. Now the only problem is selling the damn thing. Droids are tough to sell since mostly phone geeks buy used phones and the Droid brand is now mostly reviled by them.
It also sucks that the used value for the turbo 2 is so low. These are $624 phones, and they're going for around $350. Why??
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers mobile app
This is my first Droid. Love the styling, love the performance, but they just cracked the bootloader on the Note4, so Ill probably go back to that.
I just pick up another set on eBay for 300.

The speakerphone just plain sucks on the dt2. I really can't wait to get rid of this phone. I can't wait to check out the htc nexus. Really digging the htc 10.

Worth buying it now?

I am getting a 50% discount on exchange with my old phone (OnePlus 2), so I'm tempted to buy it. I don't mind the processor downgrade cause my main priority is battery life. I wanted to the opinion of actual Play users if I should go for it.

Wife left Maxx on car top, then I drove away. When I got up to speed on freeway I heard a noise on roof that caused me to check for my phone!
We got the cheapest good one on vzw, the play.
If battery life is the most important thing for you, this phone will make you happy. I just wonder if the next version isn't too far off.
depending on what you're using it for, you might not notice too much of a downgrade from a processor point of view. i don't do a ton of gaming, but the MZP feels every bit as responsive as my Nexus 5x, which ran the technically-better Snapdragon 808. performance is great, responsiveness is great, battery life is fantastic. i think you'll be happy with it.
I have both Z Force and Z Play. Side by side I don't notice much difference in performance.
Maybe the Force opens an app a few milliseconds faster. Yes screen density is better on Force, so videos/photos will be nicer. Camera on Z Force takes amazing photos. Took some at Grand Canyon and was happy. But battery life is my thing and Z Play wins that. I can't find a process that use day to day that is so much slower on Z Play.
I also have a G4 Plus and out of the 3 phones my favorite is the Z Play. Battery life is amazing. Of course I bought a battery mod right away but I've only used it for fun. Never actually had a need for it on either Z phone.
All in all if I had to buy one today I would repurchase Z Play without regret.

I do zero gaming except for maybe occasional Arcade games which I know will run smoothly. All my usage is multimedia, streaming and local which is why battery is imp. Especially cause I spend upto 3-4 hrs traveling daily.
I might go for it cause of the discount I'm getting on exchange for my current phone.
Can't tell any difference in performance between my z play and my OnePlus 3. The camera isn't amazing (it's fine, just not as good as the OP3 or galaxy S7/8) and it's very hard to use in one hand, but I absolutely adore my Z play and haven't taken my OP3 out of the drawer since purchasing the Z Play. I've owned over 40 different phones over the years and this is by far the best I've ever had.
Great software, great performance, great screen, good speaker, good build quality, unlimited battery life, mod compatible. For those of us who don't take selfies or use Instagram, this is the holy Grail of smartphones.

you'll probably be plenty happy with it then. the camera isn't the greatest, but the sound it produces is great, IMO the screen is fantastic, and the battery life is the best. i bought mine used for $290 and i really enjoy it. i wish it was smaller and had a better camera, but i can deal with both of those small annoyances compared to everything else it does so well.

Thanks for all the opinions, I've placed the order. With exchange of my old phone I'm getting the phone for about 180$ which is a pretty sweet deal. Should be here by Friday.

Even I'll hold off the root and ROM business cause it's already running Nougat and also don't want to void the warranty for atleast till the next iteration of android comes out.

While this technically does void the warranty, it only voids the part of the warranty that covers software (which is basically nothing, since software is 100% identical from phone to phone, software does not have "tolerances" like hardware does). If you have a hardware issue that clearly has nothing to do with software, Motorola will honor legitimate warranty claims. That being said, if you make a point of the fact that you unlocked your bootloader, the techs on the phone may assume your warranty is void. But I've returned several devices with unlocked bootloaders but legitimate hardware defects to Motorola and have never once had an issue. People like to complain, but Motorola customer service is some of the best in the industry.
Had a bad experience with Moto X Play. Hardware failure. USB port broken. SD card not reliably. Dealer (Conrad) sent in to Lenovo for warranty. Lenovo obviously only looked at the IMEI and sent back, told no warranty because if unlocked device. Conrad told in Europe it needs to be proven that the failure occurred in the first half year to get repair by dealer.
Now the device is being used without repair (most of the time it is usable). Am not sure if I should try anything further.

If you have a hardware issue that clearly has nothing to do with software, Motorola will honor legitimate warranty - would depend on market and type of service personnel. I've heard great ad bad things about their service centers but its usually almost all because of the service employees.

switch to Z2 Play, any good?

Hi all,
i'm contemplating a change of phones. From LG G4 to Motorola Moto Z2 Play because i could get a pretty nice deal on it. I would like to ask the community here for their opinions. I already saw that is has an overall good rating. Questions are, is there anything i should be aware of if i switch? How's the ROM, bloatware wise? Heat issues, battery issues, GPS issues, known problems and so on. LG G4 has a lot of them and im kinda tired of them, although i love the camera and the GPS precision. Any input is welcomed
Thanks!
The ROM is virtually stock Android. There is no bloatware. Just a couple Moto apps that I think are quite useful.
I ahev experienced no heat issues. My previous DD was a Moto X Pure and that joker got hot.
The battery is awesome. I've not ever experienced this kind of life.
I have not had any GPS or other issues.
Some say the camera is not wonderful, but it functions well enough for me. Afterall, I'm more interested in the radio, since it is a phone with a camera, as opposed to a camera with a phone.
Below is my review, stacking it against the Moto X4. I've had it 5 months now and still feel the same. I love it.

I just downgraded (so to speak) from the S8 to the Z2 Play. No regret whatsoever. The only thing I have to get used to is the lower resolution. Other than that, it's a solid mid-range phone (physically as opposed to glass, and as a device) that feels like a flagship (bar the aforementioned screen resolution).
If you like stock Android I doubt you'll regret it.

This thread is for the Z2 Play
Yeah that's what I meant sorry. I have the Z2 Play.
thanks for your replies!
I had a handful of g4s. They all went bad and a 5x too. Camera on the g4 was stunning. Low light with the ois was amazing. The hardware was otherwise garbage but looked gorgeous. The LG software was fabulous if you use it in a work environment where you need solid MS exchange services. Asop exchange sucks. Motorola also has solid exchange support. I'm going to say Motorola builds the most durable hardware of any smartphone except the really old blackberries. Moto has been my choice for years. The problem with Moto had always been the cameras. They were horrible. I had the z play and it was barely adequate. Every Moto phone before that was bad too but everything else was so solid that I was willing to look past it.
The Z2 play has a decent camera and you likely will be happy with it. The sd626 is fast for a low power processor. On par with the 808. I would look for an unlockable bl version vs the Verizon one. Custom covers and Moto mods give a bit of the g4 style. Battery life will be similar to the g4. USB c support means super fast charging and you can plug flash drives in, with an adapter. You can merge the internal storage with an SD card for one huge partition as well. The finger print sensor can double as nav keys for more screen space.
I've owned also a G4 long time ago. I will say battery it's way better on the Z2P and the stock Android experience you don't experience any lag. You will ensure many updates on time.
Now regarding back camera, Z2P it's above average but not comparable with G4 which has very good performance. For front camera Z2P it's better.
Fingerprint works great.
Unfortunately i probably wont get the z2 play anymore. Turns out im not eligible for the promotion due to the fact that im not employed for at least 6months at my current employer. Now i hope this promotion will last for another 2-3 months. By then nokia 7 plus will be out and i cant decide between this 2...

That's a shame!
I came here to add another point. If you're someone who enjoys running the latest software then don't go with Motorola. Oreo came out 6 months ago and it's not even on the horizon right now. Motorola's gone down Samsung level of suck with updates but Samsung at least has the excuse of having a complex version. I don't know what Lenovo's doing honestly. That would be my main gripe.

That was one reason why i wanted this phone. Near stock OS and i thought they are better with delivering updates. Guess Nokia would be a better compromise then?

From what I can tell it's not really a compromise. They seem to be pretty solid devices. If Nokia sold them in my country I'd get one of them. Stock Android, good updates and a great camera. Motorola has good competition there.
Since Lenovo bought Motorola they've been bad at updates. When Moto was owned by Google up until late 2015 they were way better. They have near stock Android, it shouldn't be that long.

Initial Impressions/Opinions ?

So I've been eyeing this phone for a few weeks now,I was going to get the 9t last year but didn't and I ended up getting the X2 pro which for the most part has been an excellent device and obviously much more powerful,
I'm someone who gets bored of my phone and regularly change it at least every 2 years.
The X2 pro is good in every department but the camera let's it down a lot and the 4000mah battery is decent but it can run down fairly quickly,
The software is actually good on the Realme,
Would I be crazy to straight swap my X2 pro for a mi 10t lite,
Things I like about it are:
the Sony 64mp camera
Big 2 day battery
I like iPS screens and 120hz sounds good
I'm interested to try MiUI
There are dual speakers,
Basically it has all the essential things I would need
And I'm not a gamer but do browse a lot of social media and web ,news etc.
Has anyone moved from a more powerful device to the mi 10t lite ?
What are your impressions so far ?
Or is anyone considering it ?
Am I stupid/crazy to want to move to this Perhaps lower end device ?

Definitely a great deal and a solid device especially at that price point,I had purchased the 6/128 model on Amazon for £250 but later cancelled because I wasn't too sure on it.
I don't see any reason now to pay 500+ for a phone when devices like these are being released.
I will hang on to my 1 year old X2 pro tho for a while and keep an eye on Xaoimis releases

Got mine last week too directly from xiaomi, so far im very impressed. comming from a one plus 6 with lineage installed wasnt too sure how id like it but im happy enough for now, until lineage is avaliable for it anyway also hope to find cases for it on ebay soon
Coming from a redmi note 5 pro
And before that a one plus one.
Like the screen blacks. Still I think not comparable to op1.
Cameras. I've always been disappointed with cameras. This one looks ok. Esp the macro
Works fine no glitches.
But heavy. Soo heavy. Can't get used to it. That was the last phone I buy over 180 grams ever.
I am still impressed every day (coming from a bq Aquaris X).
One week with it and I keep struggling with communications. Wifi and Bluetooth stability trouble. Trying to find solutions, but it's not what I expect when I buy a new phone. So I'll try to fix things if possible this weekend and if not, I'll send it back to Amazon. Quite disappointed at this moment. It seems a good phone for the price but tired to lose my time. I need it to run flawlessly.

Interesting comment. While I think 6.3" and 186 g can be handled (I have a RN7) I'm unsure if the "now standard" 6.7" and ~215 g are a good daily companion (because of the better CPU/SOC etc. I plan to upgrade sooner or later). At least I hope this is the limit and we do not get 7" Phablets as standard Smartphone size soon. I remember when people complained about everything bigger then 4.5"
