Just a kind request, there are custom kernels for Mi 5s Plus.
need change stock frequency to 1.5 to max 2.1 which is not possible on stock kernel
devs and mods please help to make the powerful tweaked custom kernel.
we need kernel source from xiaomi. ;(
or we need to push them...hehehehe
Without kernel source developer cant do anything

Xiaomi modifies their kernels a lot, so it's so difficult without original sources.

Kra1o5, yes, they've done it, cause i've tried to get it with M1cha and we didn't get anything b/c they modified it so much..

MI2S can use kernel of mako with one driver added & with one change on defconfig.

I am very glad that I could convince you, the devs, to make a try. I think is better to look at display power management which is the worst part and to make possible voltage selector because I think that at ~1.6GHz the processor voltage is too high and of course an interactive or interactivex is a better governor. Xiaomi should have already published the sources. The way the company behaves about publishing the code is irrelevant.
I have spammed almost all MI's fb page posts.. But still not a single reply to any post.. -_-
Even MTK have started giving sources.. Only our device lags in terms of kernel management due to lack of kernel source.. :/
Just hope, Xiaomi really would release kernel source..

This is caf common msm8226 kernel source. we've using it only for headers used while building android.
This is no real kernel source.

hello are you still making the rom? the latest one that works with my tab 3 (SM-T113) is lineageos 14.1. I dont like it as it very laggy and in some places it looks like there is no use of Gpu. Ik this is a very old tab but pls make this rom for the people who only have this device as their android. Android 4.4.4 is very old and is even starting to lose support for apps.

nope it didnt happen. theres an active commuinity on telegram tho. but i cant link you to it since xda doesnt allow that.
