Bootloader won't update

Hi
I'm trying to unlock my bootloader using the HTC RUU but like many am getting the ERROR 191 ROM is not supported message. I've found the patch in this thread:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21120374
but it doesn't work for me. HBoot update is bypassed.
I suspect the problem is because I have an early Hboot 0.90.0000
Any Clues?
Sorry would have added this question to another thread but can't post in dev threads as noob.
Thanks
go to this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437545
follow nith2's tutorial...don't forget to click thanks to him if it worked for you...
Worked for me. Thanks.
Edit. Well, sort of worked, bootloader updated but still can't run htc unlocker. Will post details in other thread for tidyness.
I just let the phone sit there and it started loading, then everything was complete. I initially got error messages.

[Q] Could this proof that radio version in hboot is just numbers?

***No image because THIS IS MY FIRST POST
Please PM me if you are interested my hboot image, THANKS***
I don't know how it happened.
The radio field of my HOX is "None" in hboot, but my phone works great with ARHD 6.1.1,
Could we say radio are updated as long as unofficial ROM flashed?
P.S Could someone help me post my hboot image in this thread?
Thank you very much!
You could upload it somewhere ,e.g. imageshack , and post the link here.

Or just restore a kitkat nandroid backup. There are threads in the Q&A section with backups.
I downgrade to kitkat! for those want downgrade, i use the ruu Developer/Unlock Edition here on this web. Only download it, install htc sync for all drivers and follow the steps

[solved]HTC not searching for updates

Hello everyone I sent my HTC 10 for repairation because of the pink screen and a bleeding in the lower part of the screen which not only they didn't repair but they also corrupted the OS, after recovering everything I tried to update but it has an error of some sort saying that the system may be broken.
I wanted to update to this new 1.80.401.1 version but can't. Currently on 1.30.401.1
Thanks

Flash the 1.80 RUU
Do I need to unlock the bootloader? I didn't want to modify the system...
Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
no need to unlock
I tried to manually install the OTA so my data wouldn't be lost, but I got an error that said the system has to be reflashed so it can receive OTAs again, it was something about the system being R/W...
I don't understand how HTC support in Portugal does something like this. I wouldn't mind if they repaired my screen, but adding even more problems is something that simply cannot be.I reported it to HTC, something has to be done.
Later I'll flash the RUU...it's downloading...
Problem solved flashed the ruu
