mpdecision bug?
I am currently using Slim6 1.17 rom Which is great, I flashed neon kernel, the only problem I am facing is the device reboots randomly( once or twice in a day) other wise the rom is great. I want to know if the new Slim7 rom has the mpdecision bug (music stops when screen is off) in the new rom or not? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

reflash your rom and gapps
do not flash custom kernel
then install kernel adiutor
go to cpu hotplug (or find mpdecision ) > then disable it, it will fix audio bug.
EDIT: you can use other apps to edit cpu hotplug and
you can also add this line to your build prop to fix the bug
ro.qualcomm.perf.cores_online=2

Cellular Networks
This setting seems does not works well and switches to SIM-2 does not have mobile network connection. And AFAIK, the armani dev has revert "remove RIL prop" in their github.
then in Data Usage setting, it should have just one cellular data which it turn on in one SIM and the other SIM is off. And might we have to wait another updates from AOSPA-L related to MSIM function.
F*CK YEAH!
Awesome work, AOSP rules!

I will add our Alucard kernel ASAP, to make the rom even smooth!
I'll test and report as always. Will try the latest this afternoon on the I545 (VZW).
Currently I have cm13 optimized with UHOJ2 modem.can I flash it?

Slim dev are working on features like :
Statusbar clock and date customizations
Slim NavBar (squashed commit)
Settings: Slim Recents app screen
Need to be merged to see them in rom (merged mean no conflicts).
Action button are in setting/navigation/hardware buttons
you have to enable customs actions and you will be able to choose action for back, home and menu key

@Qbax7 have you default message in ROM?I have not.
Does this rom also use the new theme engine as in the AOSP rom?
Edit lol, this rom is more aosp than the optimized aosp. No root pre installed, no stweaks, no jdc toolbox.
@chashmaa no i have not too. I install Yaata.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

If you are useing F2FS, SuperSU does not work on Xiaomi Mi5, use PHH Superuser.

I m using f2fs, latest SU 2.79 SR1 works with it no more phh
Has this rom wakelock blocker ¿?
Thanks for the rom.
this is wonderful news DU has always been my favourite thank you! will try it soon and report
I have f2fs data and cache and supersu is not working, tried the latest version, 2.79 SR1 beta
i tested it quickly, seems very nice
only big problem yes it is video recording, that doesn't work at all here (doesn't save videos to sdcard). but adding "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1" in build.prop seems to fix it! can someone else confirm?
only other things, i miss the swap keys feature, but i could swap keys myself modding keylayout files so not a big problem, and the fingerprint wake that is not enabled, but i see i can enable it with the echo command via terminal.. so again not a big problem!
thanks!

sorry but where? didn't see it.. do you mean something like in CM and other roms where you have "additional buttons" menu in settings? because in DU i didn't see it.. tia!
and for fingerprint wake you confirm we should flash the old zip for cm right? to add the echo command in init.d..
@33bca I installed your DU rom and “com.android.phone.process“ don't works and therefore Does not detect the sim card.
Looks like that it happens when change from cm based rom to aosp roms ?
Any idea what could to be the solution ?
did you clean flash? i came from RR (cm based) and no problems at all..

This will be official soon :highfive:
I'm really liking this ROM now that it is updated. GPS works, so I can use it. Fingerprint enrollment does not work, though, on a clean install with no Magisk. Also, and I don't think this is your fault, but I can only view this thread on a browser on my PC. There is some kind of URL parsing error when I try with the XDA Labs app on my phone.

Fingerprint works if you apply the solution mentioned in thread of crdroid pie. I did it and mine is working fine as before.
That's not working for me. I'll probably resort to dirty flashing it over a Nougat or Oreo build.
Couldn't customize navigation bar or hide it. Missing Expanded desktop tool. All others are working fine.
We're official!

I can't seem to find the settings to enable the built-in dark theme. There is an option to enable "Black AF" when in dark mode, but no toggle for dark mode. Am I looking in the wrong place (display settings), or is it not there?
2/24 OTA update is out!
https://ota.aosiprom.com/kiwi
Changelog:
Code:
Settings: change default night light brightness
SystemUI: Show bluetooth battery level when available
WeatherClient: miscellaneous improvements
SEPolicy updates
Removed quick unlock (buggy for longer pins)
Automatic translation import
SmartActions backend support
Actions: Add ringer modes
CustomActions: Add ringer modes
BlackAF: bring inline with recent changes to dark
Add Wellbeing BlackAF theme
Support system-as-root A-only backuptool
Telephony: Support muting by RIL command
ConsumerIR: Support Huawei's DSP chip implementation
RIL: Allow overriding RadioResponse and RadioIndication
CustomActions: Add support to launch applications
SquishyNavbar: If power saver is on, don't allow feedback
CustomActions: Screen off availability
ActionUtils: Add screen on action
Properly add TurboPrebuilt and updated Wellbeing
SystemUI: fix landscape powermenu layout
Add busybox
Fingerprint enrollment worked with clean install (yay), and dark theme toggle was there. Then I realized it had been missing because substratum was installed (duh), so that was never a bug.
I found that Cast crashes System UI upon trying to connect to a wireless display, just like it used to happen on Arrow OS ROM. Hope you're so kind as to fix it like you did it for Arrow. I'm attaching my logcat to this post, just in case.

Goes without saying but, truly appreciate your work bringing a variety of really cool ROMs to this phone!
---------- Post added at 08:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:06 PM ----------
And for you guys who are wondering whether you should switch over to this ROM, I say it's a close cousin of Arrow and crDroid and Lineage and whatnot, in terms of overall look and feel, the merit being it contains even less system apps (not even a basic music player app or a browser) which translates to about 1GB more free storage compared to crDroid. It has fair amount of customization available but not as customizable as crDroid. (that one is pure gold when it comes to UI tweak options) What's more I get the feeling AOSiP is more responsive comparatively and the UI lag is less here, but I might just be imagining things.

MoKee Open Source Project
https://www.mokeedev.com/
An Open Source ROM based on AOSP, It provides you a smooth and lag free experience on your device. It makes your device perform snappier and thus helps you to handle your device with ease.
Types of ROMS
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We(The MOSP Team) always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Hope it is good now...will review it soon?
Edit:- Everything is fine...Found the deep sleep issue; sloved it by changing kernel..Audio output is below average otherwise the rom is smooth and snappy
Changelog 15/05/2019
Code:
- Revert all merge from kernel (Fix auto poweroff , deepleep)
- Build custom Telephony
And what changes are from 19.05? Does safety build work for banking applications? For example, gpay, without root. Aex can do assemblies, maybe I would try if gpay could be tied to mokee, it's important for me.
Thank you for bringing one of the first rom I ever flashed
Do not put this core, the phone turns off on all the firmware with it, and the firmware is good, sound and smooth, but it is very important to attach gpay, in this firmware it is impossible, if you manage to do this, many people with 4pdа will install, since there important!
The phone does not go out of the lock mode, even when changing any kernel, tested several times!
what changes from 23.05?
Changelog 23/05/2019

- Merge tag , Upstream kernel , Improved kernel stability , Fixed deep sleep issue
- Show battery icon in the QS header
- Support overclock power profile
- Support for EAS kernel
- Fix offline charging battery stats
- Disable VSync for CPU rendered apps
- ... some minor fix author
