Nice catch! It further assures me of us receiving Android Wear 2.0.

Can you send us the OTA file?

I'd be grateful if anyone would send me some instructions or link to them on how to prepare a flashable file and I'll try to do that. I'm still away from home and I don't have much time to search for ones.
Thanks

1. turn on developer options by tapping build number 7 times
2. go to developer options and turn on "bug report in menu"
3. when you check for an upgrade and it's there, or you get a card that says update available, or a card that says update downloaded, go to the wear app on the phone and choose "report wearable bug". It will take a few minutes, and you'll get a notification on the phone it's ready.
4. send it to yourself and then search it for zip. It will be a url that's the OTA link.

please share this link ! thank you

Can someone send dump of stock boot.img ?

There is something wrong with this update. Everytime I go outside the bluetooth range and my smartwatch connects to WI-FI - it somehow unpairs from my phone's bluetooth connection. When i then go back near my phone, it starts to pair it frequently and asks to confirm the PIN several times. The same PIN confirmation popup appears on my phone as well. After confirming it it pairs back and uses bluetooth connection correctly until i go out of the bluetooth range and smartwatch connects to Wi-FI.
It started to happen immediately after smartwatch downloaded the update, but before i have actually clicked to restart the watch to proceed with update, which is actually a bit strange.
Do you also experience such behaviour?
edit:
i have also wiped the watch and put back to factory settings, but the same things happen.

I have similar behave. The range of Bluetooth is somewhat shorted on this update...

I would say the bt range is ok. Nothing changed here after update.
But do you experience such forgetting of bt pair?

Strange... No I dont have that issue. Try to clear cache on recovery

Cleaning cache was performed along with going back to factory settings.

I got that update as well. I didnt notice anything different on the watch over the last few days with that update. BT seems to be fine for me.

I can't say anything more because since few days the problem has just disappeared and now works correctly.
Btw. do you also notice huge bluedroid_timer wakelock when using our smartwatch?

GPS Location not working T-Mobile S6 Edge!

******Update******
So I have my replacement phone and my old S6 Edge was messed up! I posted a comment in another thread about slowdown and terrible jank and stuff. This new one I just received is quick. There's some animation issues, but for the most part it's a night and day difference between my old one and this new one. Anyway along with that I used GPS Test app and compared the two. The new one didn't lose "Fix" for over 5 minutes. The old S6 Edge lost it 17 times in 5 minutes.
It appears to have been a hardware issue.
So my GPS is messed up! Anyone else having this issue?

This is not ideal. The S6 Edge is broken... at least mine is. Sometimes it will work flawlessly for miles, then have a hick up here and there. Other times it's a mess.

Awesome, I'll give it a try now, but before I do, did you restore the phone or set it up as a new phone?

i always just start off as a new phone
Factory Reset and Restore along with wiping cache partition. All failed. I'm still not getting GPS.
I called T-Mobile and they sent me a new GS6 Edge NDA. Should be here today, if this is also broken, I'm unfortunately gonna leave the S6. I heavily rely on GPS. It's more important to me than a camera. Yes I'm hinting at the M9 lol, but even then I'm not entirely sure I want that phone either.
Dammit Samsung/T-Mobile
We went through some basic troubleshooting and I am on "high accuracy mode" and location services enabled, etc.
Anyway here's more screenshots on my way to work, first pic shows it not working, it found me for a second when I got to "Pecos" then it found me completely using GPS, then lost me again. The last image is me walking to work. I have a 10 minute walk from where I park in Downtown Denver to work. The entire walk it was searching for GPS. That's the last image.
My co-worker with a S5 introduced me to an App called "GPS Test" and he was able to get 18 GPS sites, I literally have none. So something is definitely wrong with this one. I will go home and test it out again on the new phone and see if there's an improvement.
Have you found any solution to ur gps issue? If you have sorted up, please let us know. My GPS status app also could not find any satellites

Mine started updating today without any "special" procedure...
I'm in portugal...
Worked for me!
Thx !
Did not worked for me without resetting ...
Finally got it to go for my 360 here in the USA but I did have to do the factor reset, twice. But it is downloading the update now.
Got the update via OTA. Is there a change log for this update?
Looks like tapping the screen does not bring up the Menu screen anymore. Have to swipe right to left to now get to that screen.
Also, Ambient Mode is now truly always on. It dims after several seconds but you can still see the watch face. Before, it would dim and then turn off only to turn on if you move the watch face towards you.
Actually did work. The only issue is to wait for the package to mysteriously download to the watch (a.k.a. hmmm my moto 360 is warmer than usual). Kinda sucks to not have a warning that the package is being downloaded when an update is detected and not when it is ready to install the update.

Anyone knows how to force android wear 1.4?
I've tried the method mentioned in the first post but didn't worked. Waiting for other methods.
Did not work for me (made reset twice) with 12.8519685, 74.8503558 .
Watch shows weather from India, but 'system is up to date'.
Will try to leave these fake GPS coordinates for a few hours.

Remove/Disable/Block/Put an end to Nouget Software Update Notification

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 SM-A520F on Marshmellow and plan to keep it on Marshmellow because I'm a dinosaur and want to stay behind alright?
Don't want to risk worse battery life, hate the new lockscreen clock, multitasking isn't a new feature for me, etc.
Basically for me personally this would be a downgrade hands-down.
However, this pesky notification won't stop popping up and I couldn't find any reliable app in the Play Store that actually blocks it 100% of the time. (Tried a few)
My device is not rooted and I would like to avoid rooting it as well, as so far I've been able to keep it that way (9 months!) despite being always jailbroken/rooted ever since my first iPhone 3G back in 2009.
Even my last android phone (Galaxy Alpha) was rooted MERELY for this stupid reason, a software update I don't want to do EVER, for any reason, that won't stop bothering me every other day.
I've looked up and tried most of everything on google, even went as far as the second search results page.
So I either searched wrong, am missing something huge, or I don't know.
If I had the time I would bother myself to create an application that removes these notifications for me somehow, however I am far too busy to do this task on my own in a reasonable amount of time.
Please Save Me.

Nevermind, I have found a solution. You may lock this thread. Unsure if I'm allowed to share youtube videos here and don't want to break any rules.

There should be an option to disable automatic updates.
Change it manual and you should never be bothered again.

It is on manual already and the message "please download the update" keeps popping up.
I have installed Samsung's "Software Update" Application twice (from a 3rd party file manager) in order to break it and now I may see "Software update has crashed" message every other day,
While not perfect still, this makes it so I won't update by mistake and no one will be able to update for me.
Unsure what is working behind the scenes to try and force that application into working, but now it's broken enough to not be dangerous anymore.

There is an application called package disabler pro, but I prefer BL package disabler as it can also disable Knox, both work without root.
If I can remember which package you need to disable you can use one of these apps.

Huawei gt 2 Satelite info out of date?

Hey i got my watch a week ago, and i though this would go away, but when i don't use gps for a day or two i constantly get this msg when i try to use it. I updated the watch to the latest firmware via Huawei Health app, so i don't get it whats the problem. Also GPS is highly inaccurate. Tried to reset the watch from settings, didn't help the only thing i didn't do is factory reset from huawei health app.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I had it every day when i turned it on. apox every time when I start, first of the day outdoor workout, i get the same message. And when i check the route in huawei health GPS is inaccurate in a way that it looks like a kid was drawing the path from start till end line, not a straight line but like a zig zag which is not the way i was going. I got an official email from huawei to change huawei ID (i dont know what it is, dont own a huawei phone, just watch) reinstall the app and choose my country as region, did all that but no luck, still getting same error and still not accurate.
I did however check the official goole play version and it is 10.0.2.333 while when i google download huawei health app the latest version i can download is 10.0.3.511. Idk if it makes any difference but i might try with that version.
I have exactly the same problem with my GT2. GPS worked perfectly for a month after I bought it but yesterday all of a sudden it doesn't seem to be able to pick up satellite signal. Once there was a pop-up message something about "satellite info not up to date" or similar, but the message disappeared so fast I didn't have time to read it and it hasn't appeared since.
i had that problem and it fixed itself.
Try to reset the watch
I have the Magic Watch 2, virtually the same watch, does exactly the same.
After an update, it is fine once, then the same message. Wouldn't even locate at all today. It's a nice watch but useless working as it does. I even have a new version of Huawei health installed, not the Play version. It didn't work with the play version anyway. I envisage there will be lots of folk with this issue. Huawei suggestions do not seem to work.
A reset seems to cure it once then the message comes back.

Question Can't clear persistent notification from Google that says 'Downloading'

I have a notification from Google that says 'Downloading'. When I try to find what specifically is showing it, it says Data Download Notification Channel. I'd prefer to just figure out why it's there and be able to fix the issue, and not just hide the notifications from that one specific thing. Anyone hav any ideas how?

I know this doesn't give you what you want, but I would just chalk it up to a one-off quirk. I would expect rebooting would likely get rid of it, and hopefully, it wouldn't return, at least not regularly.

Rebooting does temporarily get rid of it but it comes back pretty soon after reboot. So I don't think it's a one off unfortunately.
Edit: my mobile data signal just went to like one bar and the notification went away. When I drove into a better signal area it came back.

pixel 6 "Google notifications"
Does anyone know why I'm getting a Google Downloading notification so many times a day, and you can't clear them either, without disabling every notification in settings. It doesn't give any clue as to what's being downloaded. When I tap & hold...

Same here.
I've had this numerous times. Go into Apps and force stop the Google app. It makes it go away permanently. Or at least until next time it happens.
Just use wifi network for few minutes. Google has some updates to do in background. So that it keeps coming.
You can try below 2 other solutions if you like.
1. Turn off data download notification in settings.
2. Update the offline voice.
Open Google app > Top profile > Settings > Voice > offline voice Recognition > Languages > update.
