[Port][AOKP] Rugby-REMICS alpha 1 (For Samsung rugby Smart ONLY!)

I initially announced this in the CM9 thread, buy upon request, I've relocated to my own thread
Also on the Rugby ICS front, we have:
Rugby-REMICS
This is ported from the Galaxy W REMICS done by kkrraazzyy.
Note: This ROM is in the process of being cross-bred with the pure CM9. After playing with AOKP, I've grown attached to it over CM9.
So far, everything that Kemonine96 listed works with the exception of the following:
-GPS is inaccurate on Maps but works everywhere else
-WiFi tethering came in the kernel after this one 10/15
-Auto-brightness
-Bluetooth (turns on but doesn't broadcast)

(CWR 6.0.1.2 is recommended to flash this ROM)
Install Instructions
The rom should install cleanly over a stock
or non-stock rom. It will also work with any
of the basebands we are aware of.
1. Install ClockWorkRecovery 6.0.1.2 (See this
thread for more information) Without this
recovery installation will fail
2. Download the ROM from post 1
3. Copy to sd card
4. Wipe cache
5. Wipe dalvik cache
6. Install from zip
7. Select build from sd card
8. Reboot
9. Enjoy!
Due to the size of this project, I may have missed a few things. I hope that you take this into consideration .

I know it would be enough but i am sure there are lots of newbies around. and they don't have to know what is rugby. maybe i am just talking silly

Yup, I agreed. I just found out someone at Facebook got bootloop for flashing this rom to his Wonder. The word Rugby doesn't clear enough because not all country got it for retail.

When I'm using a TouchWiz Home I can't go to phone or contacts, I got "Unfortunately, TouchWiz Home has stopped". With Apex Launcher is no problem with that. Do You now why?

I hacen't looked into the problem with Touchwiz, but mine does it too. It's likely duebto a misnamed file somewhere.

In other news, what I mean by purified is that I'll be grabbing the source and getting AOKP the right way...

I apologize for not having a pure AOKP yet, as I can only pull via WiFi on the weekends and have limited access to it.
Even with the full source, builds may take a bit due to not having a fast machine.

ABOUT P93x:My p930 lost IMEI, I can't test it!
but it's easy to port su640 to P930,you can just remove system/etc and boot of su640,and use p930's to instead.(As is it ,just wifi and boot)

I'm currently working on a p930 version of this. I will post once I have something solid.

thanks...flashed it on my su640. its a neat stable ROM with theme options. but battery is poor. And I think Wind Kernel isn't compatible with Chameleon OS

I'm using defailt kernel .lyfkevin is good at kernel.He will update his kernel at soon later.

thanks for the rom,
unfortunatley no bluetooth installed and you can not make it on also
kindly rectify

Bugs:
- Bluetooth not working
- LED indiator not working
- finger print not working
- S-cover view not working
- GPS not working for me (can some one confirm this.. A-gps working)
- off screen guesters not working
Rest all worring fine...
This is one of the best rom i like, with lots of features but this bugs really spoil the sports.

very good vibe ROM 2.9
This ROM is fascinating. we have worked a little Elephone in our group and we have made some improvements in developer mode for experimental reasons. in our opinion it is the best result that has given us. I hope the developers continue to improve it.

Sprint LTE is indeed working. If you are having any issues, go into Settings/Cellular networks and make sure you're set to CDMA+LTE/EVDO for your preferred network, auto for system select and Sprint LTE internet n.ispn for your APN. Not sure if it makes a difference if you're on a 2yr plan or the prepaid Sprint plans, but I personally have the roaming data on (I've got the Unlimited 70$ plan)...

I've got this installed on my G2 though I haven't switched sprint service onto it yet. Otherwise in normal use/setup, it seems to be totally stable. I'll report back once I've got sprint service on it and some more daily-driving time.

You need to update to color os 6 and thn flash this rom.

Great Rom
This ROM is great. Great Battery Life, performance. Using it since 2 days. Just that there are few issues that I faced while using this ROM.
1. SD card recognised and showed corrupted but unable to format it.
2. When using Netflix, If i get a text on WhatsApp and try to open it by tapping on the banner, phones goes to lockscreen.
3. Unable to use camera in WhatsApp.

Good roam very stable.only problem is fingerprint not working I hope it will be fixed in the next update

Did not disabled the camera2api on COS! and already installed the ROm ..that's why the front cam is not working now! What should i do?

Rear camera of default camera constantly crashing in latest build.Front cam working.Can't find the reason.
