Hi jsbeyond,
As a great fan of DU, I of coursde also like Zephyr which looks really similar to DU... Can't tell who inspired the other, but that is irrelevant
So Zephyr is simply a great ROM. Loaded with features I really like.
But there is one missing (unless this has been added meanwhile) and that is OmniSwitch.
And for me OmniSwitch is really mandatory...
Have no idea what it takes to cherr-pick into a custom ROM, but if that doesn't take too long, it would be nice !
But being in touch with membres of the Zephyr team... I've heard that the devs are already working on N . So probably won't bake in new features into Zephyr MM

BY THE WAY : I've tried to compile several ROM's with the Elan sources... only got into errors. Does it take a lot of changes to fix it ? Or am I missing a point ?

i tested this rom before the release to the public and informed OP about this bug (continuous FC on android.phone process) and other bugs like camcorder broken.. dunno why he released it anyway...

Man please solve the problem of com.android.phone constant fc. This seems a very good rom.

What did happen to nougat?

Alright! With the hardwork of Mi5 Devs in bringing up cm14.1 , hopefully soon enough there should be nougat build on ZephyrOS aswell, No ETA because stability is more prior to us

Anybody knows how to get snapchat working? Tried disabling root, still won't work. Btw rom is really smooth.

Yes - and that's good.
If you want to change it you can try "SE Linux Mode Changer v3.2.apk" - but I did not checked it for this ROM.

Nice ROM !!smoother than turbo rom which was already nice as daily driver!! I only face one problem i set a pin password for lockscreen but when i try to disable it, settings force closed.
Despite this, this rom is m'y new daily driver for sure!!

Fixed my issues with snapchat by unrooting. Camera seems to freeze if I want to take a HDR shot and video recording won't work (tried different apps)

I put it in plane mode last night and battery drains 30%, is there some solution? thats the only issue for me... thanks

Nice rom, very smooth, all works fine. I only find one bug, when i tried to change the wallpaper from the stock launcher it's crash, but with nova works fine. Sorry for me english hehe
EDIT: I cant deactivate the Ambient display, when i search te option appears, but when i touch that, doesn't show the option to deactivate

Use Pixel Launcher.

This rom for some inexplicable reason has been under-appreciated. For me, this rom has been the most stable, and smooth experience among other choices, Great work OP, and hope you continue with it.

It's available on the stock 5x Marshmallow ROM and for those of us who use the dual sim it is an important feature so be able to turn off our work sim and leave the personal sim on .

n00b question here, can we just flash the root package with TWRP on this rom or its' just a matter of changing a setting? installed ROM, so far so good. though it rebooted once when i was selecting the USB file transfer option. it froze, rebooted. but was fine 2nd time. thanks for the ROM>

I think you have to flash magisk if you wanna root

Greatest ROM ever, it has the smoothness of Pixel Experience and the features of Havoc os (in better)
Also great battery life

Can not be installed
Hi, a new version is notified in the update section (20 sept version) but there's no download button and it tells it can not be installed on my current version (previous from July). I've observed it went from EvolutionX_2.0 to 2.1. Does it matter ? What should I do to update ?

Just use OTA and it'll be fine.
If you experience any bug after updating you can still clean flash to fix that ?
