I have Cyanogenmod Recovery on my Sony Xperia ZL. My problem is I have cleaned the previous ROM installed,wiped data and cache and now I am not able to install any ROM through my SD Card. Gets an error every time I install. Any Rom from cm11 to latest. None is working. Tried to read recovery logs, not able to... Is it possible to install another recovery through this or any other solution. Biggest problem is my PC does not recognize the phone even in fastboot mode even I installed the drivers.. I am able to charge the phone and go to recovery too.. but unable to do anything further.. Even get a logo for Sony Xperia ZL..

I own a Sony Xperia Arc (purchased on June, 2011) and it doesn't work anymore without any explanation.
When I turn on the phone, it appears Sony Ericcson brand and then, mobile network carrier brand, but then, instead of appearing home, it appears again Sony brand and an infinite loop goes on.
At first,I tried to solve the problem with the Sony tools like PC Companion and Sony Update Service.
Then, I tried to do a hard reset (back + menu and power), but nothing changed (the same bootloop).
What would you do now? Would be useful trying to flash some firmware? I have been reading posts about flashing firmware, bootloader unlocking and rooting Xperia Arc, but I don't now really what would be the best move now.
For your information, I haven't applied any kind of official upgrade before, neither I have tried to root the phone or flash any custom firmware, so I had my phone as it came from factory (with Android 2.3.2). Moreover, I haven't installed any suspicious application, just typical apps like whatsapp and so on. By the way, the phone haven't suffered any crash neither wet.
I have attached the log I have taken when I try to turn on the phone (I get the same log again and again, at the end of the log it reports some problem with memory, I hope it's not a hardware problem):

İ have lt15i firmware. Try to install lt18i via flashtool and something broken and aborted. I tried to install LT15i_4.0.2.A.0.42_(1247-1041).ftf via flashtool. It said flashed but said power on turn on unknown sources and devices. When i try to power on it boot loop in Sony Logo.
I try to use CWM mode. Wipe and flash some data. Couldn't find user data files. Installed a Custom ROM when a boot animation appear its boot again to SONY logo. what should i do?
Any ideas?
In the end, I could fix the problem flashing the latest firmware with Sony Update.

Hello, i have a problem since i tried to update my xperia arc to the last kit kat build, i flashed the kernel before installing the new rom, and now it simply reboot after legacyxperia logo, and when i tried to go to recovery menu it enters but doesn't show any options, only show the hat with the refresh symbol. If you can please help me.

I have a sony xperia s LT26i but now i can't install stock rom or custom because it is in boot loop now, so i can't use CWM recovery and also can't flash with flashtool because my pc show a message that's USB Device not recognized. I have no idea what to do with my mobile.

Hay bro I don't know if that will help you but make sure that you've insalled the driver for your device on your computer so that he could recognise your phone and start installing your rom

I also used sony update service program but it doesn't recognize it...

Hi guys, Im running twrp on my sony experia ZL c6502, but i dint do any backup, so is there any solution to me if i want back to normal mode, right now i stuck at recovery mode (twrp), i do restart my phone, reboot bootloader, recovery but it still restart to the pink mode, please help me if there is still have any hope....
Just get yourself a usefull programm called FLASHTOOL and some generic Sony firmware for your phone version, and flash it via flashtool... Eveything is here on this forum, you just need to find it. Oh and flashtool is on flashtool.net (you can also find some firmwares there)
Hello Everyone , I really need help
My sister's phone(xperia arc s) is bricked... I can't fixed it :crying:
It all started when the phone becomes unresponsive , you can't even clicked the power button to make it sleep, it's stuck then suddenly, it turn off itself then i open it , it opened but the problem is, the phones lagging so i turn it off , i plug out the battery then plug in , then the kernel boot (cm 12.1) but its so long the face of the cm android blinking took me about 1 hour waiting for it(actually i'm washing the dishes while waiting for it to boot where you can actually use it.)
Then i plug out the battery again and open it . Then it boot in the legacyxperia and loop infinite times , so i decided to open its recovery( cyanogen recovery ,my cm 12.1 doesn't have custom recovery) i clear the cache partition then reboot it , it didn't work , then i go to recovery again to format the userdata ,It booted in the cm android face but it loops infinite... Then i think that i need to reflash the cm 12 , so i booted into recovery to apply zip (format system zip, i used it then it work) then i apply zip (cm 12.1 ,the rom i used to install cm12 ) But it didnt work it always says e:signature verification failed, installation aborted.
I use our computer to reflash the cm12.1 kernel but the same thing happens ,, Then i read about a thread that cm 11 is better in xperia arc s ,, so i downloaded it then flash its boot.img through flash tool , i followed the tutorial completely ,then i completely wiped my device using cwm recovery( coz the cm11 i downloaded has the cwm recovery ) and i apply zip or install zip in sd card etc. Then selected cm 11 it works but when i reboot into system the legacy xperia boot loops again and again..
