Hi , I am trying to root my Lenovo Vibe P1.
I was trying to Flash ROM using QFIL.
But Device Manager is not showing the required port
"Qualcomm Lenovo HS-USB QDLoader 9008".
what should I do now ? plz gimme reply ASAP

reinstall qualcomm drivers / lenovo driver.
Hello Srikh.. I'm a bit of a novice at flashing roms myself, I used this thread > http://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/qpst-flashing-vibeui-3-1-s272-rom-t3386650 and the driver I installed in windows 10 is the second in the list > Qualcomm_USB_Drivers.zip I also found the USB cable that came with the phone was not good enough so I'd advice trying a different one...

Has ur PC detected the below port ?
"Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008"
My PC has detected Some other Port
that's the main issue
Changing the USB cable may not work I believe.
Will try once, anyway. c u tc bro

I have the same problem as you. Device manager is not showing Qualcomm HS-USB loader 9008 in com port. I have Alcatel idol 4s windows 10 smartphone open market variant, and wanted to flash the phone, but no success so far. When I shut down the phone and go to download mode(flash mode), my PC finds only Qualcomm msm device under USB devices, and nothing in com port no matter I previously installed Qualcomm hs-usb 9008 loader driver. Even doesn't want to change the driver saying that there is already latest driver installed (relates to Qualcomm msm device). Of course that in that case I am not able to flash the phone, because the program (flashing tool) says that there is no device attached. What I should I do in order to install Qualcomm loader 9008 driver and flash the phone?
This is driver issue which you are facing in your device manager, I think you should get these USB drivers installed on your PC.

When I tried to flash the old version of bada, the flash process stopped in half way because of bad driver. after that I cant able to connect my phone to multiloader. No it was struck in middle of the flash and searched for some driver then it showed some port error. I tried reinstall usb driver and kies but no use.
I only found you have some practice with Flashing bada...

Maybe you can remember how and which Windows you used.
For me I am using 32 bit XP...
So maybe good idea to ignore Win 8 64 bit and try only under Win 7 32 bit.

I think the problem is in usb driver. I downloaded two usb driver exe from different source but both didn't work. So,please some one give me the link of working driver.

I can go only to the download mode. when I switch on my mobile it struck on samsung wave s8500 boot screen.
I'm using PC and connected directly through my PC motherboard without any hub. I tried all my port but no use.
whenever I connected my device in download mode, there is a yellow error mark in samsung mobile modem driver in device manager .

arhhh... Thanks for your effort man. Unfortunately this too doesn't work. I will try my friend's PC in the evening. I hope my phone is not dead.
just right click the samsung mobile on driver management and update driver from your disk manually instead of automatically
One last hint...
Remove battery for 30 seconds - 1 minute...
Then try again.
If also PC from your friend failed, then USB port trouble...
Hardware problem on Wave possible.

One more help guys, My battery is getting more worse. I got only 20 to 24 hours of battery backup in standby mode. I bought a new battery and I got the same result in that new battery too. whats the reason?

First of all uninstall all program having to do with adb drivers (PC Companion, SEUS, Flashtool..... )
And install flashtool again Download Official Page
Then go to C:/Flashtool/drivers/Flashtool-drivers.exe and execute them,
when you finish don't open flashtool.. connects your Sony Xperia S to the usb port
make sure USB Debugging turned off for install USB drivers when finish disconnect.
Turn on USB Debugging connect and the ADB Drivers should be installed.
PC Companion installs the drivers but it may take much and even days when it recognizes the device is a matter of connection and disconnection

From my understanding jtag or octoplus box is the only way ive restored both g2 and g3 hardbricks. But no method is available yet other than above again from my understanding unless somethings changed in the last few weeks

Which G4 variant is yours? Cause they found an unbrick method using Win32DiskImager and booting it from external memory. Also, some of the partitions image they have, have several mbn files in them. Idk if thats what you're looking for.

Before that, did you install Qualcomm_QDloader Drivers ? If you install them you'll get QDloader 9008 mode

My OP3 was running on open beta 27 and i dont know why i flashed 4.5.1 firmware over it via TWRP ( BLUE spark's 8.54) and after that i have not seen no life on my OP3. it's completely off, no keys working . Iam getting nothing.
i have tried mega unbrick guide, my op3 is showing as " QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLOADER 9008 " AND i am unable to make my device show as QUALCOMM 9008 as mentioned in guide, even tried many ways as guide had. so MSM FLASHER is unable to detect my device
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME GUYS, I DONT WANT TO LOOSE MY OP3,

EDIT - THERE IS ISSUE WITH INSTALLATION TIME OF QUALCOMM DRIVER, WHEN IT ASK FOR CHOOSING SUITABLE INSATLLATIO METHOD [ see SS FOR better understanding ] ( i was choosing 1st option and got undetected device iin flasher but after uninstalling driver and again installing with 2nd option gets worked :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: )

there is no issue with device naming and updating drivers ( only matters QDLAODER 9008) and detection of device in msm flasher, it'll automatically flash the files

#Download Qualcome usb driver and replace on computer''s device manager.
#download that Msm download tools and use 2nd method(follow Naman Balla's post on Xda)

and 1 more thing, did you got your fon connected as qualcomm 9008 or had same name as earlier and still msm flasher dectected your device ??

EDIT - THERE IS ISSUE WITH INSTALLATION TIME OF QUALCOMM DRIVER, WHEN IT ASK FOR CHOOSING SUITABLE INSATLLATIO METHOD [ see SS FOR better understanding ] ( i was choosing 1st option and got undetected device iin flasher but after uninstalling driver and again installing with 2nd option gets worked :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: )
there is no issue with device naming and updating drivers ( only matters QDLAODER 9008) and detection of device in msm flasher, it'll automatically flash the files

It was working fin and then when i update it in system update it say download failed and asked for roboot i click ok and then it reboot and stuck on logo then logo freezes then roboot my device is not rooted and i didn't enable developer option so oem is locked now can't flash anything with abd fastboot i tryed msm download tool 3.0.2 when i click in verify it say all ok and when i click start it say download complete and it roboot in android is starting or upgrade dont remember.

Le Max 3 comes with android 7.1.1 and the camera is different in this LeEco le pro 3 turbo in the flash part looks like a smile

Hello hoping someone can help me out. I have a X950 in my hands and it appears its gone into QDLoader Mode. I show and have drivers loaded that show its in Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM6) mode, but the phone wont boot. Im aware of that there are some recovery tools available but need some assistance with getting the right files for this chipset from someone. Can someone help out so I can get this thing back to stock? Happy to provide any additional information

Thanks for the link below, I poured through it and it references only the X850 as far as firmware and some mention of the X950 but nothing specific to the X950.
I guess the things to validate is that if it happens to use the same chipset and also the same rom as the X850?
Also since my phone is in QDLoader 9008 mode does anyone have the appropriate files to load in the Qualcomm QFIL downloader application? - I came up empty trying to find it.
Any help would be very helpful

I need the firmware too... because my phone have problem with flash, when is active the photo is blue... if no active flash the phoro are good... i think is problem of rom... this model x950 use same rom to x850?
