Hello, I just installed the CyanogenMod 12.1 for my S3 Neo, and I saw that the software the camera isn't the top ... I wanted to know so if it were somehow possible to flash a zip file using TWRP so that the camera cyano is replaced with a bit more cute!

Find & flash snapdragon camera or simply install from market the bacon camera (that is actually the same snapdragon camera with reworked interface & not for better).

How the **** do you guys have working cameras... every rom ive installed camera fails. I even try those "fixes" that are out there for each rom but still....

Hey guys, so here's the whole long story. I've been using Clean Rom pretty much since I got my ATT Note 2. It worked great, but with my job, I need to wake up for text messages and phone calls in the middle of the night (preferably without waking up my wife). So I bought a Gear 2 Neo, then realized I need Android 4.3 or later. So I figured it's time to upgrade my phone.
Here's the problem, almost every Rom I try to put on it I have issues with. The most common issue is that the camera doesn't work on almost every touchwiz rom.
I tried Ditto Note 3 V5 - I love this rom, and would prefer to get it working, but for some reason the camera doesn't work and mobile data doesn't work - Any Ideas on how to get those working?

, but the only suggestion I got didn't work (flashing I317_ODIN_UCUCNE5_BL_TZ)
I've also tried DS NE5 - ButtNaked - but it's the same - the Camera doesn't work.
Cyanogen Mod 11 seems to work great, even the camera works, but it isn't touchwiz and won't work with the Galaxy Gear and I really love having S-Voice.
One other thing, I've noticed some mention the /Data/CFW Folder - that folder is empty, is that my problem? What does CFW stand for - Camera Firmware? - Is there a way I can flash the files for the camera firmware or does anyone have working files for their camera firmware that I can use?

The cam works for me on buttnaked and dn3 but i did the ota to 4.4.2 so im on the ne5 bootloader but idk y your having trouble with it try to look and see what bootloader your on

Apparently CM 12.1 is pushing fixes for the camera on d2 devices, so you'll have to wait until your ROM gets 5.1. What ROM do you use (out of curiosity, lol)?
As a side note, Open Camera (on the play store) is a somewhat working alternative to stock camera.
Most of us are using cm12.1, or any other AOSP rom.
As pixelmaster is one of the best thing in Zf2,
We need a ported app with all the features directly from the stock camera.
Currently missing : flash, super resolution mode, low light.
If any of the Dev try this, it will be really helpful.
It is in the Play store...I am on stock ROM, I am interested in switching, but the camera software is keeping me stock.

Honestly it's just a skin of the MIUI Camera. Quality is awful, HDR doesn't work and no front facing flash.
Hello guys, i installed android 10 custom rom recently i'm having serious issues in terms of camera and google camera, so i found a thread talking about installing custom kernel can solve this problem so i installed "StormBreaker" kernel on "ion os" the problrm now it says no camera hardware detected i don't know anything about camera blobs or new or old camera.. Did i break my phone or what??

Try to change kernel use rad and try with new blobs, if doesn't work use old..otherwise change rom
