[R] Zopo ZP998 Lollipop ROM

Hi, i made ZP 988 Lollipop rom, alpha version, i looking for developers who could help me to impove it.
I use zeaplus phone kernel for mtk lollipop,
What works:
- phone run system and offten crash
- wifi
What do not work:
- sim card, crashing etc...
who know how to build rom and have time to work together and made working lollipop rom, plz send mail to me kontakt at matematyka24.com.pl

I dont found this rom, but if i good remember, i use lollipop rom for ULEPHONE, flashed it and it works, i dont remember number (maybe lollipop ulephone 650), use flashtools and it should be run on ZP998

[DOLBY][AUDIO-MOD][LP,MM]Dolby Atmos

I want to inform you guys, that the Dolby Atmos Audiomod is fully compatible with our phones.
You can get it from HERE.
It's working on 5.x just as on 6.0 beta ROMS.
Make sure, you download all 3 zips in case something goes wrong.
Just flash the dap_r6.5.zip file first, then the deep_buffer_remover.zip in order to remove the loudness when headphone is detached.
If you mess up something, just flash the dap_r6.5.1-uninstall.zip file to revert the changes.
Enjoy your enhanced music experience!

This is good news. I'll try once I'm ready to root and customize my device.

This is working just fine. I'm pretty amazed by what the speakers are actually capable of. This is the best alternative to ViperFor Android which has been working fine on the Huawei P8 Lite but this is simply better and more user-friendly.
BTW I tested in on 6.0

Do you mind telling me the command to flash the zip using fastboot? For a reason I can't install a custom recovery. I can only use commands in fastboot.

You can install this over a custom recovery, which doesn't actually require root but only an unlocked bootloader. If you don't know what that is use the search
The second way is to flash this via fastboot, which requires an unlocked bootloader and the ADB.

Do you know the commands for using fastboot cause i can't find twrp for 6.0.

Did you try to start the app and actually Turn it on in the top right corner of your screen?

To flash it i need custom recovery, install it's just tap an apk file or copy somewere into system

Then you might want to uninstall, redownload and reinstall it, and IF that doesn't work out for you, you should double check if you're having root access

set up equalizer, turn on surround virtualizer, volume leveler and you will hear

I set up twrp on read only and I flashed the two zips, it worked fine but juste after turning the app off it no longer work even after rebooting

i think that's only thing different, because i flashed version A stock rom only no baseband, and other using nothing problem,, version B stock build was in jan 2016

So I tested the Nexus rom, and when I first installed it and then flashed the US zip, it worked I have 4G LTE. Now when I flashed the storageswap addon it changed to edge ever since. Downloading to stock original and your zip.

ok thanks well the storage swap has no affect to the signal and mobile data... that are two very different things..
can you also test my eragon rom with it.. please just flash my rom and then the zip . please report back. i will read it in a few hours..
if that all works . then i will update my rom for US bands too

try flash Eragon rom, i tested Eragon rom using twrp wipe all install zip after in os don't have baseband (show unknown), after using twrp flash Ver.B baseband still don't have baseband(show unknown)

So I tried going back to the original rom, now its saying invalid IMEI number

valid imei number easy to fix just download mtk shortcut in play store and go inengineer mode and connectivity>>>cds information>>radio information>>phone 1 >>> AT+ E "INPUT YOUR IMEI NO" >>>after you need space AT( space) +
or you can search youtube mtk change imei no.
but make sure you have show up baseband version first, if show up unknown this valid,

I live in America and have an Elephone P8000 Version A. I currently only have 2G from my carrier as the 3G and 4G bands I need are greyed out. If I flash this Version B ROM, will it unlock the basebands I need?

thanks a lot for your help and thanks for the fast reply. I flashed the stock via flashtool and only 1 band changed in 2G (changed from DSC1800 to PCS1900). UMTS and LTE bands stayed the same. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

It should work.
Maybe its a provider issue atm. .
Did you changed it to LTE in settings/more ?
Did you performed a fullwipe?
@Dvalin21 . you have 4g etc.. Did it work for you right out of the box?

For sure no. To install a custom ROM you need to unlock bootloader and install twrp.

All ROMs here are 99% stock. Batterylife is the same as with stock.

Hi,
I have an honor 7x BND-AL10 with L21C432B102 software, I don't get any updates though
According to firmware finder B121 is already released.
When I try to update via firmware finder it just doesn't work, it either says package checksum error or authentication failed, any idea how to fix this?

If firmware finder has an update for this model then you can use manual update method by @Sudeep Duhoon in this forum! Give it a try!

schau nach huawei firmware finder im playstore und du kannst es mit dem Proxytrick versuchen schau bei Youtube gibts anleitungen dafür.
Weil was ich gesehen habe sollte es 1 oder 2 Updates geben,B122

I get authentication failed when I do that, With all the files.
If you have twrp and oeminfo can you please make a backup of it so I can restore it and probably get updates?

I'm most likely incorrect..
But I'm almost willing to bet that all of you that are trying to update your firmware have unlocked your bootloader.. and most likely rooted at some point...
Any firmware / update package is going to be Signed by Huawei.
Is it possible that, once you unlock the bootloader there is a trigger that cannot be undone? So any Signed package you try to install going forward (sideloaded or otherwise) will simply be rejected by your device? At least until you can flash a Stock Signed package and recovery whenever Huawei decides to release it.

Yeah, I gave up... It didn't work so u used @oldroid 's method with the modified recovery so it can flash unsigned full OTA files

Ohh.I am in India and we are unfortunate people. We got 1 update till date . 1st Jan Security patch. This is must for KRACK problem.
