Lenovo vibe k5 plus stuck in boot loop - Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Questions & Answers

I rooted my k5 plus a6020a46 variant running lollipop using kingroot 5.0 beta successfully. But then when I rebooted it stuck. I removed the battery and it booted normally. I unooted my phone but the problem still persists.
I found that some files like ku.sud etc still remaining even after unroot.please help..... :crying:

Hello there. You can try replacing the kingroot with SuperSU. There are a lot of literature here (view this one) so go and search the forums. I would recommend SuperSUme but you are in boot loop.
Use the link above (guide by vickybonyk). Since you have unrooted the device, you need to install it again before running the script. Run the script via adb (usb debugging should be enabled).

LG G4 CM13 Android 6.0 SuperSU - Stuck on Cyanogen Logo

Hello. So as my adventure with the G4 continoues my problems also continue. This morning I flashed CM13 successfully but without GApps. I hopped into my Recovery and installed the GApps, so then I realized that I have no SuperSU, in my happyness I forgot the no-need for it in CM13 quickly... I installed the newest BETA and rebooted my device. Now it's stuck in this CM13 Screen.
What can I do now? I have had USB Debugging enabled but I can't do anything with ADB while in the Boot. It means "device offline"

Root, TWRP install, reboot in recovery and paper holder phone!

Hi all,
since 3 days i faced some problems with my D855 stock lollipop (21A) ROM, I tried SUPER-SUME to escape kingroot, but it fails to install SUPER-SU and i lost my root access, GPLAY was very low speed in downloading and installing app; i was rooted (via Kingroot) and TWRP installed.
Yesterday evening i try to recover the situation via normal flash mode the original 21A rom.
It work so i root it again and install TWRP via AREC app.
This morning i try to reboot in recovery, the phone switch off and ..... nothing, it's dead, no way to boot it either in normal, or recovery or download mode.
Is there anything i can do before send it to service or it's unusefull?

You can try this, didn't work for me because I was stupid and short circuited something wrong. But send ir to warranty and they gave me a new one. So no problems.
Phone in service, but just for my info i read a procedure to unbrick the phone stucked on Qualcomm 9008 error..... how can i find if it is the 9008 one?
Yesterday my phone did that and I flashed the KDZ as if the phone was on, up+USB until I heard the sound on the pc, ran the flash tool and it worked.

[PROBLEM] I can't flash custom recovery (TWRP) to my G3 d855

I recently had my G3's motherboard replaced. I'm using G3 D855 32GB with Android 5.0 software version V20n.
I had troubles rooting my device with these methods:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
Though after few more tries and research I came across this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197 and successfully rooted my device (checked with Root Checker app).
Now i'm having difficulties flashing TWRP. I tried flashing using the official app TWRP manager with no luck, nor through flashify. For some reason with the Autorec app, the flash recovery button is doing nothing.
While flashing with flashify and TWRP manager I get this message when phone is booting: "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify" at the left top of the screen (when LG logo appears).
I believe my software version (V20n) has something to do with it, because that's the cause for the rooting issues.
I would really appreciate any help, I'm dealing with it for few days now.
By the way, I had the same problem before and tried flashing KDZ, ending up with a fully bricked device (that's why I got my device's motherboard replaced) so please try to avoid solutions including this method.
Thanks!
I have exactly the same problem
OK I solved this issue
you have to root&flash recovery in one operation.

Need help to make run LineageOS-14.1[UNOFFICIAL] on A6020a40

I installed lineage-14.1-20170121-UNOFFICIAL-A6020.zip ROM today on my brand new Lenovo Vibe K5 ( Model# A6020a40 , HW version H201 ).
After installing successfully using TWRP, I rebooted and the device does not go past the boot-loader screen (showing "Lenovo"). "fastboot devices -l" is able to detect this device but Android startup does not happen.
I am loading any ROM for the first time on this device, so it may not be a ROM issue.
I made sure I did a factory reset before installing it. What did I miss?
Please help me to make it work.
a little help here please?

Hardware version is on sticker, most probably your hw version is 39 which @chaubeyprateek haven't added support to till now on lineage os,try aokp, aospextended,RR N,it will work.Do remember to take stock backups before flashing, because all custom roms on this device are pretty buggy and you would want to go back to stock from time to time.
I have got the same problem.

i have not installed twrp in my phone and i have tried installing the twrp by pressing the volume + and - and connected to pc for entering the download mode but the pc did not detected the device and i also have installed the usb drivers...
pls suggest me a way to get my recovered
Hey Bharath1705,
Have you tried fatory resetting? Or maybe reinstalling the stock rom? Usually reinstalling stock rom fixes bootloader because it reinstalls it. To install twrp you don't need download mode (also called EDL Mode, used mainly for unbricking the device when bootloader does not work), only fastboot. Follow the installation steps from here: https://twrp.me/lenovo/lenovoA6020.html to install TWRP. I advise to not use Download Mode, it is almost never required to install anything on the phone
