No. Once you wipe your data you cannot restore photos. If you did backup in your cloud like Google Photos then you can restore it.

[Q] Any way to restore the formatted data?

Hi everybody,
I had lost my data after went back to stock 4.1.2
I have already tried numerous software on my pc,but still no luck as those software seem doesn't detect MTP device.
Are there any ways to restore the data from the formatted internal storage?
Sorry for my english
THX in advanced
Try this, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.defianttech.diskdigger
not sure if it'll recover all data from a formatted partition but once i recovered few deleted photos with this app.

Data format and restore

I've been thinking about cleaning up the internal storage on my One and had a question. Are TiB backups independent of internal file structures?
For example if I backup all system settings, apps and data and place them on a thumb drive using an OTG cable, and then delete/format internal data, could I install a Rom and TiB from the thumb drive and restore my phone to current layout, minus the "trash"? Or does TiB need the apps file to restore its data?
Sort of a convoluted question but I'm trying to clean up space.

Yes, everything TB needs to do the restore will be stored in the TB folder. I've never had much luck backing up and restoring system info but you will definitely be fine backing up apps and data. You could also do a nandroid, move it off the phone, format data, move it back, restore.

Before restoring wipe system, data, cache and dalvik. Also move all files on internal storage to sdcard or somewhere else. Then wipe internal storage too. Then restore backup and move those files back to internal storage.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I format internal storage, do I need to move files from internal storage to ext sd card? The backup is on ext sd card.

Before restoring nandroid backup.... I recommend you to move all stuff u have on internal storage to your pc or ext sd card. Then format system, data , cache , dalvik and internal storage. Then restore backup. After it is done move that stuff back onto ur internal storage. Formatting internal storage is not needed everytime.
U just do it this time.

I did an advanced wipe, system, data, cache and dalvik and it never worked properly. This time I included internal storage when wiping and that fixed the restore problem. Thanks for the help.

TRWP Backup Extraction

I have changed my ROM to Fulmics and all okay. I did a TWRP backup of current stock ROM beforehand. I also did a system and internal storage wipe. Unfortunately some of my photos were stored on my internal drive (all the rest are on external SD card). Is there a way to retrieve just the photos? I have looked through the backup files on my PC with WinRar but cannot locate any photos.
Google periodic backup seems to only have backed up the external SD card photos!
I'm not sure, but you could try to restore your "data" partition from the recovery.

Internal memory speed

Hello!
what's your internal memory speed? I've a problem with camera app (Gcam 7.3) - when taking video i must wait about 30-60min to see it in Google Photos app ;/ that's very annoying.
Can you try format memory partitions wipe with f2fs ?
