I'm basically new in building ROMs from source. Is there a guide out there which would help me to build LineageOS for my Honor 7 (codename: plank)? There's already an unofficial device tree on GitHub. Thanks

Link to the appropriate Wiki page(s) on the Lineage web site, you shall find the build instructions for the impatient, assuming there is going to be a build for your device - they list approximately 100 devices, including (thank you, GOD !!) mine. I'm a patient fellow, and the last CM 14.1 nightly is working "well enough" so I plan to sit back, have a Cognac, and say THANK YOU to the hardworking folks at Lineage OS who are doing me a huge favor. :angel:

Apparently, the following LineageOS 14.1 thread will also work for the K6 Note (was asked within the thread and was positively confirmed) but, I can't state this as a personal fact since I don't have that device.

Hello, as far as I know, development of LineageOS 14.1 has not stopped but i can only find ROMs until mid-february 2018. After that date I can only find 15.1 Downloads. I'd like to stick with 14.1, are there any places where I can download current 14.1-builds?

I don't have this device but, when the Official LineageOS goes from 14.1 to 15.1, they stop releasing Official Developments.
If you want to continue using the LineageOS 14.1, your only other option is to hopefully locate an Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 development.
After performing a quick search, the only one that I can locate is the following.

This is probably the best you're going to find unless I had missed one or more that could entirely be possible.

Hi everybody, I'm proposing to the active modders community to take care of a kernel usable in the new android Pie 9.0, recently released in two versions: AICP and Lineage OS.

You should ask for that from your current official/unofficial maintainer

Also, I've never done any work on this device so I don't know why I'm being asked lol.

i tried to develop TWRP and OrangeFox for Xiaomi Pad 5 (Nabu), and well... it's not easy to work on that...
i made this thread to try get help, droping my latests repos on my nabu-dev organization on Github...
i don't have so much time to work in nabu, but i can help in a timely manner when i can
i hope to get so many news about that...

I think at the moment, If you already have an incomplete Lineage tree, then you should just focus on lineage and develop lineage recovery to simplify the process.
