Vibrate on call / connect - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

Another previously available feature which used to be available in 6.0 is "vibrate on call" or "vibrate on connect"
How do I turn these on under 7.0?

there are several apps on playstore to achieve that functionality, i use the following;
Call Vibrator (for non-rooted devices)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.yutouji0917.callvibrator.noroot.ad
Call Vibrator (same app but for rooted devices)

Thank you, does this confirm that vibrate on call feature is not available anymore on HTC10?

its still there, but it seems to work different.
If your soudsn profile is set to "normal" and you are not on dnd it will work, IF you got Settings->Sound & notifications: Vibrate - Vibration feedback for calls enabled

[Q] Vibration with ring or silent for notification stopped working after ICS

I'm still in stock, and just rooted after the ICS update, so the problem isn't because of the root. Before rooting I tried factory data reset which did fix many problems like gps and music player, but the vibration/silent mode with vibration for notification still does not work.
Are there any mods or apks to install to replace the vibration settings to fix the problem ?
p.s. vibration works on phone calls when I select vibrate and ring, but seems to only not work with notifications like sms text messages.
Thanks.

Hmm interesting. I have this issue but on a custom ROM. I got nothin' for ya
are there any apks, mods or apps to modify the vibration profile, that might be the solution ?
Edit: Fixed the issue, ICS has separate sms messaging settings to vibrate, changed it to always from never.
Go to messages > settings > notification settings section - change vibrate (also vibrate when notified) to > Always

Silent mood does not work for messege alerts

I have updated my Note 2 to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 but i got a problem that when i switch my phone to the silent mode from the drop down menu it makes the incoming call alert silent with no problem except that the message alerts still give me the alert sound as if it is not in the silent mood.
Note:
I was not having this problem before upgrading.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
I found that I needed to go into each app that I get notifications from and set them to silent/non vibrate. The main setting was being overridden by the app.
Thanks

Xposed LED control module not working

So I can't stand this 9 second wait in between blinks so I installed xposed framework and the LED control module.
I cannot get this working correctly? Anybody have this working successfully?
If enable per say the messaging one. When I get a message it does not work. If I turn the screen on, then back off, it will work...but obviously that isn't right.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks everyone!
Verizon G3, rooted
Well I finally figured it out. In the phones standard notification settings, every option needs to be checked. I had unchecked incoming calls and downloaded apps. So once I checked every option in there it is now working! Yay! Not sure why but that fixed it
Are you running the standard version only or unlocked version?
I could only get the messaging app to correctly show LED notification, i couldn't get the phone app to display LED for missed call. Could you?

In the Settings --> Display --> Advance Settings --> Notification light is it On and do you have all the options checked? (e.g. Missed calls & messages)

How to disable heptic feedback when making/receiving phone calls?

Hello guys,
Is there anyway that we can disable heptic feedback when making calls or pick calls? When i pick or make calls, it vibrates. Please tell me if there is a way to disable this. I have checked all the settings from vibration on touch to other vibration settings and every option which says vibration is already disabled but don't know why it still vibrates when i answer or make calls.
The feature is removed after marshmallow and it cannot be disabled in nougat.
But these is a way with root , but presently we don't know where to change the value.

I think they should provide an option to turn it on or off.

Better try silent mode when on calls.
Drag down the statusbar , click on profiles and Toggle the profile to silent

Question regarding notification settings on the phone.

Hello i'm new to this forum and new to Samsung, so this is a question that i have that i have to ask because i can't seem to find a solution. I don't know if its a bug or not.
So when i bought the phone i set it up to fit me with various settings and changes, however one setting that can't be changed (or it changes itself back to default) is the notification settings for a specific app.
I use telegram and i get a notification from time to time. So i decided to mute the sound and to turn off the vibration from the notifications menu in the phone for that specific app. But the problem is that the settings stays like this for only 20 minutes and then it resets itself to default i tried to change it again and again and it keeps resting. I tried it changing it even in the app itself, but again i keep getting a sound and vibration notification.
What i'm doing wrong? Am i doing anything wrong at all? Or is it that the phone is buggy?
Try modifying "Sound and Notifications" inside Telegram instead of phone notification settings
