Sweet, any info on the features, like DRM fix available, sony camera, music album, xreality, root, RIC etc? thank you

All those are Sony specific right? So you think RR could have all those features posted back?

Yes they are Sony specific but some of them are/will be implemented:
DRM fix as in stock is not needed, as the Sony apps/functions that use it, like Camera, X-Reality etc. can't work on custom ROMs. However, there is work in progress to add some drm blobs like widevine in order to use some non-Sony drm-enabled content.
Also there is already a patch, only for single sim at the moment, will be in next build for dual sim too, for using basic Sony apps like Music, Album, Keyboard, Weather (without drm-enabled features).
Of course the ROM is rootable with SuperSU (system and systemless) and stuff like ric and dm-verity are no obstacles here.
I'm using the ROM for a whole day now, it seems nice, and it's also themeable with OMS/Substratum.
Hope you'll like it folks!

food for thought, you can never ever flash custom roms(with custom kernels) without unlocking bootloader.
May we have some screenshot please?
Nice!
Since I am on CM12 already I will probably wait until it really offers unique features.
But glad to see another LP ROM

Works well. Definitely a speed improvement over stock cm12. It has got the extra quick tiles too,.
edit. Standard cm12 issues like videocam very dodgy, and cam bombing after a few pics. Cm12 committed the backlight fixes in 25th nightly , not sure they are included as I haven't tested.

I get better battery by changing mobile network to 3g and having auto sync off. . It is more battery hungry than stock.
Sent from my Xperia Z1 Compact using Tapatalk
battery life is definitely worse than stock 4.4.4 rom, but it'll do for me.
pretty much normal usage, with LINE and WhatsApp running in the background, one widget (with passive refresh). no social netwoking running at all.
i've been encountering some bug with videos (video camera included), and bluetooth music to my car (connects, but won't play, need to be restarted first, reconnect, it will be fine for several minutes of playing, then hangs). Also can't take picture straight from Whatsapp.
overall, it's good for daily driver, and it's noticeably faster than stock CM12 rom.
Touch screen not working after installation
Hi
I installed the rom after a full wipe(factory reset, cache, system and delvik cache). after the system restarted the touch screen is not responding at all. Also i am not able to go into recovery by pressing power and vol down key after a restart.

Flash a kernel with an included recovery via flashtool and try to get into your recovery. Then restore your backup.
Obviously you did something wrong. But you didn't provide enough info to analyse it...
Brightness issues
Installed this yesterday, nice rom, really enjoying LP features. Everything was working smoothly but now screen is stuck at minimum brightness. A fresh reboot resets screen level but after a sleep/wake its back to min. I have both auto brightness and adaptive turned off. Not sure if this is a standard issue or I screwed up something.

Can you please provide link on how to flash the kernal... also i use fastboot to flash. so is there a link for it.
As far as the info on what i did, i had cm 11 installed with cwm recovery. Then i just flashed the rom and the ga apps and when the rom booted and in initialization page (language selection page). screen was not at all responding. finally i flashed cwm again and installed cm11 again. will not flashing the boot.img file from rom cause this.
But i even tried flashing that too. So it would be great if you can help me figure out what i missed.

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP basically which stands for the Xperia Open Source Project was a project originally created by me for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) and the project was created like 2 years ago when that time XOSP wasn't even existing. It was just S+ Reborn. The main idea was to create a custom minimal Xperia based ROM, by including the essential things which a user would normal use from a ROM.
The S+ Reborn became to be a big success because it was eventually ported on different Xperia Phones and some other Samsung devices and from there the XOSP project was founded. From the XOSP Project also the Reborn addons were created featuring with an Aroma Installer. I worked on the project for 2 years by trying always to improve it constantly, eventually for the fact that LP on my Galaxy S+ became to be quite buggy i decided to stop the development and for about half of year the project was left in stanby till i decided to bring it back again on the Zenfone 2 devices. The ROM will now also feature a White Indigo theme for all the ROM (framework, Settings and so on) and of course the newest Xperia Applications ported from the SystemDumps provided by the Sony community.
The project started growing again so with the Release 4 the project will be completely refactored to XOSP.
Revisions and Releases
I've got a different type of releasing, i will not provide weekly builds but just let me show you how the revisions and release type works: The revisions refers like to a sort of Nightly thing i mean the changes included in the ROM are small not as a Release one. All the releases got 5 revisions. So the Release is something even bigger right? Hell yeah! When a new Release is released expect many improvements or new features

Bug: 1. Network traffic hide doesn't work.
2. Switching to front camera always gives me "Can't connect to camera".
Hopefully the infamous audio bug is not there.

Here are the few problems I found ( I don't have a bug report right now but I'll try to upload it, phone overheats and shuts down on taking bug report) :
1. Insanely slow charging.
The battery charges so slow that the percentage goes down if the device is being used. It almost stays the same if the device is on. The only way I'm able to charge properly is by plugging in while switched off. I have finished booting the rom at 47% and while using it plugged in the battery went down to 7 % with in an hour.
2. As stated already ,the camera bug.
I'm able to shoot videos and take panorama pictures though. Since the issue is known I'm saying no more.
3. Suspiciously high processor states and overheating
The processor continues to be averaging 68+ degree Celsius on normal usage and CPU load show in kernel adiutor app is so high.My device shut down three times randomly which I guess is due to CPU reaching temperatures as high as 75 degrees. A process com.android.media (not sure about the name) seems to juice out the cpu.
That's all for the problems and I definitely look forward to an update ( OTA if possible ) as soon as OP solves these problems. And BTW splitscreen multitasking is awesome. Thanks for developing this ROM for our awesome device and make it stable soon. I installed the complete gapps package from opengapps using aroma installer.
According to my experience of CM12.1 nightly, I hope we can have a Marshmallow rom with some features and without some issues:
1. "media_rw" for external SD as default.
2. Decrease the minimum of brightness.
(the lowest brightness in system is about 20%, u can compare it between CM12.1 and TWP v3)
3. Optimized adaptive brightness.
4. HDR camera module.
5. Fix LiveDisplay: It can't switch to day mode from night mode automatically now.
6. Glove mode / high sensitive touch screen.
7. Default kernel tweaks:
a) interactive for CPU governor.
b) bfq for I/O scheduler.
c) KSM and ZRAM enabled.
8. A fix like this (not sure if it's necessary for Marshmallow):

Hope can have a ROM better than CM12.1 nightly!
Good Morning!
Congratulations for your ROM works fine on Xperia ZL (Odin).
I think packing up some bugs will be great, like:
1-When charging the battery;
2-When using the MicroSD as internal;
3-Problem with the camera;
Heating 4-CPU;
I am very grateful to be able to use the Android 6.0 on Odin!
ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.6.5-20160322-odin.zip
Still camera is not working...
Charging is fine i think now ..
Thanks for the update..
hi
does this rom work in the C6506 ?
I understand the CM as this restrictions
"The official CM builds are created using the C6503 model as a base and thus will not work out of the box with many of the LTE bands supported by the C6506 model. You may also lose a couple bands of HSPA coverage compared to the C6502 and C6506 but this has not been confirmed."
Hi, would u like to fix CM12.1 nightly?
Besides what I mentioned, I found another bug yesterday.
That is, audio recordings are noisy with phone mic.
I'm disappointed about our abandoned CM12.1 before any daily-using MM rom released…
Full camera fix for fusion3 platform! Supported CM-13 and RRM.
Now you can download and just flash it: link
Big thanks for fix to @Adrian DC and Otto Juntunen!
P.S It's will be included in the next build

My last device was right an Xperia SP.
I feel proud of our god Adrian! :highfive:
Then would u also start CM13 for ZL?
I guess we won't get stock MM from Sony...
And I hope the screen brightness would be decreased more.
Currently it was about 20% for lowest.
Another question, could I just wipe system, cache and dalvik cache.
And update to RRM from official CM12.1? Or need a new install?

Quite tempting.....I might even try it..
Btw why did you choose CM13 over AOSP?
I tried them both and I found AOSP rock solid.
Thanks for your hard work.

Very cool you're doing this rom also for the G4 Nitinkumar. I'm using the XOSP rom also on my G3 and it has given it new life. Can't wait to start testing this also on my G4. It's looking to become the best rom on this phone. Hope the camera quality is sufficient! Thanks a lot

Aside from the lock screen clock, this is a really great ROM. Anyway to change or remove it altogether?
I know I'm being overly picky but I hated the clock when I had my Z1 too. Really good ROM otherwise.

Does this or any of the ROM available for our Mi5, Support VoLTE.
If not, I have seen in Oneplus X AICP ROM the dev has implemented VoLTE successfully.
would request dev to please get in contact with that dev.
Thank you.

Hi,
I wonder why people keep saying this.
I have used XPosed with GravityBix on almost all my devices.
None has crashed (or at least no crash that could be XPosed related).
And I never experienced battery drains or something the like... battery is just as ggod as without XPosed.
Of course your experience might be different... but this is mine.
Right now, I use Motorola X Style with a self compiled Turbo ROM to which I added XPosed and Gravity Box to get some QS customizations... After 6 hours asleep with 100% device, woke up, and device was at 99%. I have yet to see the battery drain
I will try this as soon as I get my new mi5 !
Regards.

I come from Nexus 5,lg g3, OPO AND OP2.... And in all threads devs don't support xposed since can give conflict with some options in some ROMs ( see exodus, sultan or others)

I use xposed on my daily device with no issues so far.
But if you use xposed, any issue in the rom can be because of xposed, so thats the reason why no develope accepts bug requests with xposed on
thanks OP at last a pure AOSP rom! you made my day.. will surely try it!! :good: can't wait to see if all GB customizations will work flawlessly, it would be wonderful as still couldn't find a custom rom with all the features i need (and GB has!)
just one question: is snap camera included or aosp camera? if snap is not included, can we just copy it to priv-app and it should work? TY!

here too never had problems related to xposed/GB. devs of custom roms don't support xposed because GB or similar modules as you said can create conflicts in roms where customizations are already added, but in pure aosp gravity box module usually works flawlessly!
What about an AOSP for Android 7 ? That would break up everything apart .
Plz fix volte n audio bugs thnx in advance
Works great ,thanks
