Lenovo P2 Themes - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

Well i've searched high and low and all i've found is questions about themes . No info on lenovo forums . But i would advise against trying to install anything you find thats an apk . I cant confirm it but i'm sure themes are not in apk format . Beware of fakes sites claiming to have what your looking for , you may well end up installing some nasty malware

Hi, i did small digging on these themes.. i found Themes for Lenovo K3 note ( which is having same DPI as ours) i managed to download a file and it turned out to be a ZIP file, we can replace ICONS from the existing theme, and if having any further knowledge on xml files.... there are so many xml files too
i will share that file here < have a look :highfive:
View attachment Night-Techolite.com.zip
but i doubt we can customize as MIUI themes, which changes everything

Good work nandakis4
Found 8 more on lenovo forum . Only looks like the icons and wallpaper change , but still something new to use .
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/P1-P1m-P70-P90-Series/Themes/td-p/3288158
And yes you right , so many xml files :laugh:

Anyone found any layers that can be added in theme center.
There seems to be an option in last tab but it got only default blue and brown....would love to have a black or red option.

+1 exactly what I was wondering rockinsnake ,, "black layers that can be added in theme center", can't understand why it must be so difficult . default blue and brown hmm Why Brown and not black ? black and oled screen fits well together ,,does anyone know ?

I need a black theme on this phone like i had on my older rooted phone with swift black substratum theme. looking forward to seeing it become available through phones normal theme engine rather than having to root because im still under warranty

Yes a black theme like substratum would be really nice...

I am strongly considering rooting the phone just so I can install the sustratum pure black theme which I paid for on my previous phone. Other than the black theme thing I am very pleased with the functionality of stock nougat.

Looks really nice! But I don't wanna root because I use online banking! And unlocking bootloader to get root access is also no option for me

I really like Microsoft's Arrow launcher at the minute . some nice features and you can change icons too . And i don't know if its just me but i think tap to wake seems to work better than with the stock launcher for some reason :victory:

lack of themes?

What's with the lack of themes for the magic when compared with the g1. As far as I know g1 themes do not work with magic so why are there not many ports of g1 themes.
Anything that's compatible with Cupcake should work fine the Magic, I had not problems installing quit a few themes. My phones rooted now so i don't have it themed any more just running Hero ROM, much nicer.
Clinton
I'm using r4 ion and when I tried to flash the hero 1.45 theme it just won't get past the hero bootscreen. Any ideas? Also what hero Rom are you using?

no G1 theme will run on top of magic. That is why it is bootlooping. We need the makers of the roms to provide us with theme templates before be can make themes- unless you want to theme a full version (which is what i do before installing).
What do you mean by theme a full version?
the full 50mb version instead of a theme template is just 13mb or so. the theme template when applied ony updates those in appa and a few framework files update (thats all thats in there)- i am gonna have a go at making 1 tonight- got a few pointers from Cyanogen.
any status update?
Following this subject with interest.
It takes time and patience to make a theme, but it's doable. Here's some pics of what I've been up to the past few days. I know there are already some other Buuf Icon Themes for the G1, but I started from scratch because I was bored. Here's some screenshots. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to change the lock screen, I'd like to put a big battery icon on it like in themes for the G1.
Oh yeah, and to give credit where credit is due:

is it transparent? or does it always have the clouds background? looks pretty sweet to me....
unfortunately it has clouds background. I will make a few more variants.
I don;t know at the moment how could I make it transparent
this app are wonderfull...
To make it transparent you will have to use photoshop or gimp
trust me mate, I tried. But it's not that. If I make it transparent, it will show a black background.... I don;t know how to make it
you can do a version without that dialer image?
Works nice but force closes phone.apk when ending a call. I googled this problem but solution didn't work.still,it works and looks good
Hmmmm... Very nice butt of this Tati... LoL
) this is the default image for contacts without an image allocated.
@RobZarzecki if you have problems, PM me with your phone's original Phone.apk and I will mod it for you

I was trying to modify my stock dialer on my droid x a while back and gave up. I remember seeing a thread about it for the motorola phones though, the color had nothing to do with photoshop. Instead, it was color codes that needed edited in a hex file. I am brand new to samsung, so I'm not sure if that helps you at all. But you got further than I did on the X. Good luck
I am trying to install but no luck, am getting a "not installed" after trying.
Is anyone else experiencing this ?
Cheers, LL-
You use root explorer in market, have copy and paste in system/app

Xperia x8 not working
The apk file whose link you give is not recognised as an apk file by the astro file manager
I take it this won't work on CM7? In that case, could a dev kindly port it over, if possible?
Is the best!

First of all thanks for using my theme. I tested this theme on my xperia Z2 and it runs well like you see in the SCREENSHOTS. colour code in the theme used to make it black ui. can you give me SCREENSHOTS. I need to see.
And I suggest you to install my material x black theme on ur device and let me know if the ui changed to a black one or not.
Here's the link of that theme
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony-themes-apps/theme-material-x-black-t3188543
Sorry for late answer, the UI of z5 premium is different than the other ones before. There is no left pane to set user apps for alphabetically or no settings via swiping left to right. Sony put 3dot menu on upper right and now you can manage things there. Therefore UI differences make your themes impossible to apply on system ui, but i can see the navigation bar changes for each theme i installed. Thank you for your nice work again :good::good::good:

[Theme][Icon pack][WIP] Updated the 3/02 - Moonshine ported to EMUI's theme engine

Hi everyone.
THIS PROJECT IS ON HIATUS FOR AN UNDETERMINED TIME SINCE I HAVE TO DEAL WITH SOME STUFF ON BIGGER PROJECTS AND WITH MY OWN LIFE
Updated the 3rd of February - More icons ported!
I currently am working on a massive project. I'm trying to port the well-known, beautiful, colourful, Moonshine icon pack by Valliant Pixels to the EMUI theme engine.
What's done so far?
For now I've only ported the dynamic calendar icons and apps from A to D. Wallpapers aren't done yet. The preview images are ready but are squeezed due to their wide resolution. (They're taken from the Play Store.)
How does it look like so far?

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see on the second screenshot, two of the themed icons (These are the only apps I have that are modified by Valliant pixels for the current version.) are modified.
The other apps will have the default EMUI icons.
(I know, my dark status bar battery icon isn't right but I'm too lazy to edit its icons.)
Where can I get it?
Click here. (13.2 MB, Google Drive link.)
How to install:
1) Copy or cut the .hwt file you've downloaded.
2) Put it either in your SD card or in your phone's internal storage in the "HWThemes". If it does not exists, create it.
3) Go into your theme manager (The Theme app) and go in the "Mine" tab.
4) If you don't have any particular theme applied (If you use the default theme), tap on "Moonshine icon pack" (The preview image isn't ready.) and tap on "Apply".
If you only want to change the icons, tap on "Customize", "Icons", and tap on the little "More >" button. Then go and select "Moonshine icon pack" and apply it.
What will be done?
More icons added to the theme, every wallpapers available in it, and updates as Valliant Pixels update their app.
Anyone would be interested into that?
Note: It might not work on devices running EMUI 2 and below. I only tested on EMUI 4.0 through my Huawei P8. (I'm posting this here because there are no P8 forums on XDA. )
Looks good !
Thanks a lot
I use Nova with moonshine so now i have also the same icon on system

Well thank you too for using it and for your feedback!
**Very** happy to find this thread!
Hope you do not quit!
I have attempted to do a similar 'port'... ran into the problem of needing to duplicate icons with different names to cover all the areas that EMUI shows icons.
Keep it up!

For now I'm on a hiatus on it. I got some stuff to deal with in other projects and in my life.
Glad to see it made you happy!

Theming question

I am currently running PaulPizz's ROM and love it, but would like to get rid of the bright white settings menus and notifications. Is there any way to install or access the full Samsung Theme Store? The included themes only theme the home screen and icons unfortunately. Are there any Xposed modules that can change these features? I do not mind digging in to the system files if necessarily to tweak things. If I recall, on my Note 2, most of the ROMs were already fully themed or included settings to change the framework.
Found these, may have to give it try tomorrow when I am not so tired lol.

This is what I've been looking for! I didn't realize that Kyubi was themeable -- it's frustrating how bright, big, and ugly TouchWiz is, especially with the blaring white backgrounds for settings menus + popups.
Nope. Not on a note 4 ROM. You require an s6/note 5 edge port or above......you could try substratum its fantastic but seriously doubt it would work on touchwiz based rom's . the firmware has just been moddded too much. But I digress to my knowledge note 4 is only capable of launcher drawer theming on its stock ROM and/or those based upon stock
