URGENT: Restore Artemis to original state; Do I have to SID-Lock it?? UPS is coming!

Hi all,,
My Artemis is slowly but surely dying on me, BT stopped, WiFi stopped working, GPS is freezing my device. So I want to restore it to its original state in order to send it back for repairing or replacement.
I still have the original WM6 ROM that Im going to but back on it but one question remains; Do I have to SID lock it or something else in order to prevent the guys at HTC from discovering that I had a custom ROM running?
Please reply asap because UPS is coming to get it later this afternoon (its noon here atm).
Thanks for all replies!!
If you flash back to the original ROM i think you have the SID Lock....but im not sure... sorry
steps are as follow:
back up ur data
hard reset/clear strorage
remove ur sd card
run the uspl tool (pof's tool)
flash ur wm6
now u can hand it to ups and get it repaired! best wishes man
I see you're living in the Netherlands, a company in Belgium called Eurotwice is also specialised in repairing HTC devices
enter your IMEI code on the website and you will see if they are able to offer you their service.
they picked up mine device twice running a custom rom, it wont bother them, they fixed my Artemis perfectly
Thank you guys.
Its on its way for repairment!

Digitizer

So here's my problem... my digitizer is slowly crapping out. It's losing conductivity in certain areas and it'll randomly start selecting random areas and freaking out. My phone has an unlocked bootloader... it's an R800x so I had to do the special unlock. I would just replace the digitizer myself as I like to do stuff like that, but after buying a heat gun, the digitizer, the adhesive and all the other tools necessary i could have just bought a new play flat out.... so here is my question.... clearly the digitizer going out isn't a result of the bootloader being unlocked, so if i relocked the bootloader and flashed back to the stock rom could I send it back into verizon since it's under warranty?
and if not, can anyone recommend a place to get a digitizer, adhesive, a heat gun and basic tools for taking it apart? I don't want to pay a fortune, but I also don't want any cheap crap that's going to break. the last batch of tools i bought online that were pretty cheap got stripped, but yea I would need the prying tools, screw driver with different heads, the like shimmy crowbar tool etc.
There will always be traces left behind of an unlocked bootloader, but will the bother to check?
How did you unlock the bootloader? I you used the $24 setpoint, they will probably never check unless they need to. If its the digitizer, they will probably just check it out without even looking at the bootloader. Just make sure stock rom is on.
Worst case is they just send it back to you for voided warranty.

You can activate with the ROM installed. Do it online so you don't have to go to the store. All you will need is the phones unique ID.
That can be found on a sticker under the phones battery or through the phones about menu item in settings
Unique id = meid

[Q] Need Help!

A friend of mine bought a Nokia Lumia 900 on ebay and the guy said it was a store demo. When you turn it on its in demo mode and we cant get it out of demo mode. I did some research and saw you can put a stock rom into it. So i downloaded nokia care suite found the right stock rom but i cannot get it to take it. Is there something im missin? Ive followed the steps that were in the other forums on this site and still nothing. Does the phone nned to be unlocked or something? Ive put custom roms in android phones before and it wasnt this complicated. Any help would be great thanks.
Make sure the code matches exactly ie: 059PK etc, You will find the code on the sim-tray, Then try again following the tutorial, If that doesn't work then maybe its because of it being just a demo device.

When i look up that code on thhe SIM card holder it says att retail device alive black. I want to get away from the retail version. I thought as long as you had the right codes for your phone model and color you could use it.
That's how it usually works, However your case is different having a demo handset,

[Q] Create EFS From Scratch

Hello Everyone,
I have a T989 in which the EFS has been wiped, I'm offering $100.00 US via paypal to anyone that can properly generate me EFS1, EFS2 And Dev_Enc Bin files using a donor phone. I need someone with Daseul access to recreate my EFS. I can supply all the original details, NCK, SNR, Wifi, Imei, Nand Unique, Etc And A photo of the original imei sticker. im not trying to change anything just restore it back to the way it was... if someone can generate the mentioned files I can push them back using dd if commands. im trying to get this phone back to 100% stock....
I Am Also Looking For Firmware For An Old Audiovox CDM-8900 For Telus, Preferably T095TEDM01_0 but any telus verion will do. Same deal applies 100.00 to the first to e-mail it to me
That 100 you are offering would likely be more than enough, less probably, to have a repair shop fix it. ?
No Repair Shops In My Province Unfortunatly, Closest One In Quebec And They Say if efs is erased they cannot fix it, which I find hard to believe. I know it can be done with daseul but now you need to create a ticket in order to login to daseul
Well, a Samsung losing its efs folder is usually doom. And a repair shop is usually the cure. Hopefully.
If you flash stock firmware and it's still gone, not a lot more your can do.
