I can´t do the first method because i can´t see the partitions of my phone. I had donwloaded miniton partition wizard but don´t see partitions and with hdd raw copy tool same. Don´t see partitions so i only can do the second method but i had this error:

How can you hardbrick HTC 10? im asking so I know what I should not do lol
Was my error.
I was trying to put an original rom because in Spain there is still no ruu for my free version. Find a tutorial to change cid and mid with a ruu for that mid. I made the change from cid and mid, I inserted the "ZIP" inside the SD reboot the phone and gave error. I found a ruu.exe, I ran it, gave another error. I rebooted and already DEAD!

What kind of CID had you try ? Because I wanted to made that on my custom rom in order to have Super CID (11111111) and install the stock HTC's Ruu from EU

hello sanguine14, i had installed by CMD. the cid is good, i think is eeuu cid for put android N but mid is not ok.

I dont get it I flashed a "signed firmware" to my HTC 10 S-on mind you and now it wont even turn on or give my qload or anything its completely dead? Is there anything I can do at all? I have tried holding down power and volume keys but nothing at all. every once in a while I may see an amber light for a split second but when I first plug in but nothing after that no Qload HS no beeps no light and no life in the phone of any kind.

Your post lacks ALL the important details.
What firmware and rom version whas/is it running
What firmware EXACTLY did you flash
Do you have a carrier locked HTC10, do you have a sprint version......
Just telling us you flashed "a" firmware isn't going to cut it.

The HTC 10 was running T-mobile but Carrier unlocked, it was S-on but bootloader or HTC dev unlocked/rooted and it had the latest OTA, firmware ETC. I used the "HTC version tool" to change the main version to 1.81.531.1, I found this firmware 2PS6IMG_1.81.531.1_firmware(Signed).zip on a thread of XDA by member named BeHold_this. I downloaded and flashed this rom in RUU mode The phone did the whole fail 90 like normal but instead of restarting RUU mode to where I am suppose to flash it a second time, it went black and never came back. Now when I plug it in to the PC, I get the amber light to flash once maybe twice but thats it I cant get even QLOAD9008 or anything en device manager it doesn't even do that? I have bricked HTCs before and gotten "Qload_HS Download 9008" and "QLOAD_BALK" I had an HTC one M7 that was stuck in "QLOAD_HS_DEBUGGING" and that one I used the "HTC Debricking project" to fix it and that phone still works to this day. but this is different. I have tried holding down every button configuration like power, Vol-up and PWR, VOL-DWN and PWR, Both VOL KEYS AND PWR and nothing not even QLOAD. IS there any magic trick to even make this thing come up in QLOAD_HS mode? Please let me know thank you.

I tried to upgrade my jasjar with "JASJAR_WWE_19096_19505_11300_AKU_3_2_ship.exe" i download it from this forum, first i tried it and it said " error 101 communication problem" or something like that then i tried it again and it took a bit more time to give the same error but when i looked at my pda on the screen says : Serial V1.0 the PC doesnt recognize it.
Ive searched throw the forum few hours and ive tried reset+power+camera or light and it doesnt work, its my first day with it, i was so happy and now dead

That is fine, that's all you need, because technically, you already have the radio and Ext ROM installed on your device. Read the instructions FULLY on the 1st link. Since you don't have the ms.nbf and radio.nbf file, you are just upgarding the CE ROM. Therefore on the new folder that you are going to compile, you only need 9 files enumerated on the list (some are included on Helmi's File download).

Did you put your device on boot loader mode by pressing the RESET PIN, BACKLIGHT BUTTON, and POWER BUTTON all at once? If NO, do that first then double click or run the Ma_Upgrade file included.
Replace the Ma Upgrade file, I updated the file from the 1st link.

Have you tried replacing the Ma_Upgrade_No ID File? Download it again from the 1st link. Sometimes they become corrupted for no reason.

You are on the right track here. It must be the Ma_Upgrade file. You just need to reflash your device.
Ive downloaded the new maupgradeut_noid_602.exe but keeps on with the same 150 error ive tried it like 20 times already and it doesnt go
First objective is to get instead of SERIAL the "USB" message.
Please disable any firewall you have first ! Second reboot pc and change the USB port.

Why do you have the number "602" behind the name???? Mine does not have it.

cktlmd first thank for all your time and answers, when i plug the universal it just appears that it doesnt recognize the usb device that's it and the file ive got for the upgrader is MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe i download it again from the link you told me and it doesnt goes, i uninstall the active sync and it seems like nothing is connected when i double click the upgrader, it finishes with congrats but nothing has been done to the universal.

When you say you double click the upgrader, which do you mean, the "maupgrade no id" file or the "ROM UPgrade" File? You should be running the MaUpgrade File.
If this still does not work, try downloading the original ROM from the device manufacturer.

Or use a friends computer just so your Universal can be recognize.
Another thing, are you using a USB hub? If yes, then switch to a different USB plug. Your Universal needs to be connected directly to your computer and not a hub.

I have to mention that my hermes was CID unlocked and I have flashed hundred of devices before. After about 23% updater stoped with an error message and want to start recovery mode... So I restarted my hermes but it not came up. Few seconds later my computer hangs on with blue screen message. Hermes never came up, even to bootloader. KITL mode also don't work. Charging too. Computer don't detect anything :-( Anyone have any suggestions? What could happend? I have not updateing SPL so why it won't start to bootloader?

You seem to have a dead battery, you need to charge it before you can flash your device again.
For clarification, if your battery is in fact dead, you won't be able to charge it with your own phone in it's current state (failed flash). You'll have to put the battery in another phone to charge or borrow someone else's battery.

First, it souds like there's something wrong with your computer if you get a blue screen. You might wanna try rebooting your computer first. Use the AC wall adapter to charge your phone if you can't charge it on the computer. If you are able to charge the phone with the AC walll adapter, see if you can go into SPL or KITL. If you were able to get into the bootload or KITL, you will be fine.
The battery was charged before update to 100% so for sure it's not empty... :-(
Tell more about the PC
Most likely the blue screen is related to the USB driver. There should be a hex code displayed. What was that?
Also, please share OS version, and I don't want to assume ActiveSync version either.
We've got to fix the PC first. Have you tried Pof's "How to unbrick your Hermes" steps?
Try removing the battery for a while (as long as you can stand to), like at least 10 minutes, then put it back in.
Let us know just a bit more about your configuration.

OS ver is Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 trial version, ActiveSync of course 4,5.
Pof's "How to unbrick your Hermes" steps will not work becouse my hermes is dead and even don't wont boot to bootloader or KITL... Removing battery for few hours do nothing. I'm not at home now, so I don't try to bring it back to life last few hours but I will soon.

Hmm...if you can't even get to the bootloader or KITL..your phone is basically dead.
I have written in first post that it's not boot to bootloader... Anyway, how is it possible to brick bootloader while I was flashing only OS and extended rom?

It's possible when you use the custom RUU Updater and you choose the wrong option, it will start to flash your bootloader first then the OS.
Does it includes IPL flashing ?

I forgot to mention that there's no need to include the extended rom. You can just ust the OS only and those extract CABs will run automatically when your first initialize your device. All the CABs in the extended rom is also in the \windows directory and there's a preconfig.txt file to specifiy which CAB to run. There's also a chance that you specify the wrong range in your sample.txt file which will caused the rom written in a different address and bricked your device.

OS only don't have IPL in there unless you are doing a full rom upgrade.
My sample.txt looks like this:

You created a NBH with a header containing IPL, SPL, splashes, and radio... and you only put OS and ExtROM in the NBH. You overwrite IPL & SPL with EMPTY data. Device is dead. Your "sample.txt" should have looked like this:

If I may be so bold.. Your machine is a complete write-off. It is dead forever. Get it replaced..
Recently tried upgrading my SPV M3100 from WM5 to black WM6. Everything was going fine and I had installed the following
SPL (Bootloader) version 2.10.Olipro (HardSPL v7)
Radio version 1.43.00.00 (optional)
Was updating to ROM version: Windows Mobile 6 LVSW 160607 when USB cable was disconnected before installation ands I am now left with WM6 screen only

If you stuck in the wm6 boot screen and have flashed HardSPL 2.10 already you can just enter the bootloader and reflash your ROM again. Why do you use nearly 6 months old ROM (LVSW)?
Did you try to reflash the ROM?
Just switch to the bootloader and run the update again.
If the updater is complaining about "Not able to do so" you might need another ROM, but that method worked to or three times for me.

you do not need active sync to pick it up. Just enter the bootloader and run RUU.

Simply - flashing process itself is not done by the Active sync (its icon is grey when flashing). I have tried to flash a ROM this way and it works. You just have to input correct values to the RUU yourself. Bootloader is the tri color screen. You can access it by holding power and ok button while using the stylus to soft reset the device. Hermes will pick up the usb connection.
Please read the WIKI and flash an original WM6/WM5 rom before attempting to flash a cooked rom.. then make sure you know what you are doing before flashing the cooked.

Put your device into bootloader mode.
Connect it via USB to your PC.
Run the RUU on your PC (like if you had Active sync working).
Flash the ROM.
(should work with all cooked ROMs)
Update: I tried it now with the Schaps 4.20 - it is working.
When you run ruu it should create ROMUpgradeUt.exe if it says it fails to find the device just run this. I usually take a copy before clicking to close the error box.

RUUWrapper.exe should be in the folder with the image you are flashing. Sorry if I confused you saying ruu.
When you download the cooked rom it comes in rar or zip containing 2 files - one with extension .NBH and the second one is RUUWrapper.exe (resource upgrade unit), unpack them to one folder and run RUU.exe Be sure to flash only ROM for your device otherwise you will kill it for good.

If this does not work for you - then you can use flashing from the SD card (no USB needed for this kind of flashing) . But try what markafreeman suggests first.
Lets try some troubleshooting:
Whne you connect your device in the bootloader (red green blue screen) to your pc what does it say?
In the white part of the screen on your device it should say USB - then it will work.
If not you can still try flashing the ROM from the SD card - you will need a card reader though for this kind of flashing.
As newbie on this, anyone please guide me step by step to upgrade my P3300 rom with nbh file. My device is unlock already with current ROM 5.2.1908 (build 18125.0.4.2).
The procedure is given in almost every thread. It's simple really. Is your SPL version anything other than 1.11.0000 or 1.11.cmon? If yes then your phone is not unlocked. Unlock your phone by running USPL from here or the updated USPL from here.
Check if the USPL has worked by checking your SPL number. During phone booting at the white HTC screen your SPL should show either 1.11.0000 ir 1.11.cmon.
If it does you are free to flash any ROM. Get the ROM of your choice, put your phone into bootloader mode by pressing the voice record, power key and reset button simultaenously for about 5 seconds till you see a three colored screen. Attach it with USB and flash the rom using RUU.

do u have only .nbh file or along with .nbh file any other files are there ?
generally along with the .nbh file there are other files like romupdateutuility.exe etc.,
download those files also and save those files into your PC.
after unlocking your device then staup the device with bootloader mode (three color screen)
connect the Device with the PC by USB cable.
in the device display u will a word USB (left bottom corner)
run the Romupdateutility from the PC...
the process will guide u next steps ...
after the completion u will have new OS
Last I would recommend tht u also upgrade you Radio ROM (this is responsible for all the communication functions of ur phone i.e. calls, GPS, WiFi etc) which will enhance the communication capabilities.

Note : before flashing any ROM or upgrading the RADIO kindly CID unlock your device or you will end up the with bricked device .

As sixthsigma said, did you check if the phone is correctly unlocked? Is the SPL showing 1.11.0000 or 1.11.cmon?
Secondly, what OS are you flashing on? XP, Vista or Windows 7?

Secondly, you haven't unlocked your phone properly yet. The SPL must be 1.11.0000 or1.11.cmon, depending on which USPL you use.
strange... hv tried several time but w/o luck...
now I notice that it cut out after '70' and jump into 100 with disconnecting
any choices of other USPL instead of the one attached here?
Did you flash the old USPL or the new one which is nosize? It is preferable to install the old one first. And then go for the cmon nosize USPL if need be.

Hi, heres the procedure for upgrading your rom put as noob friendly as i can put it.
WHAT YOU NEED
1. HTC Artemis p3300
2. computer running Windows XP with activesync installed
3. Usb cable to connect to computer
4. The new rom that you want to flash
5. And USPL which can be downloaded at this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311403
NB: For most of the newer roms you will probably need the updated nosize version of uspl http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=521406
PREPARATION
NB: Anything you need to backup or keep from your device do it now.
NB: in some cases you may have to hard reset your device before it will take the flash
1. Extract Uspl to your desktop
2. Extract the rom you downloaded to your desktop
3. Remove your sim chip and memory card from your device
4. Reset your device and sync with windows xp
UPDATING
1. In the USPL folder run the program called "start_uspl" and let it do its thing in the dos window,in
my case it goes to 70 and then jumps to 100,if you have been watching your device screen you will
see the linux penguin for a few seconds and it will change to a white screen.
A window will popup on your computer, do as it requests, when finished it will reset your device.
Sync your device with your computer again.
2. In your downloaded rom folder you should find a file called "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" or "Ruu.exe", run
it and a window will popup, do as it requests.
Your device screen will go tri-color(red,green,blue) and the rom update will begin, wait till it
finishes and thats it.

I got the same error as mentioned when trying to flash using the numb3rs ROM:

I ran the herald-uspl.exe file. and ended up with teh above error. My TMo Wing has the original ROM on it and the phone itself is probably unlocked. Ive had it for a year now. Do I need to call TMo to unlock or is there some app I can run to do this myself?

Is there any way to upload the DIAMIMG.nbh file to Internal Storage? Or should I follow a different way to save my HTC Diamond?

Connect the Diamond and run the customruu.exe from your desktop, this should work.
how to connect if i used mtty... its clear everything what i have on device storage and in bootloader canot start stock or developed rom...
if i want start hard spl its say invalid model it....

The only thing to do now is to flash back a stock ROM or use a custom ROM with the RUU.

Actually I had uploaded the ROM to my internal storage, but during trying to bring my phone to bootloader mode, I formatted the internal storage...
Anyway, what I did now is, first I opened the USB Connection feature from ActiveSync, and then used CustomRUU.exe to Flash the ROM...
Everything is solved now...

bootloader is all you need to revive the phone
connect it to usb in bootloader mode and just install an oficial diamond rom from an windows xp pc.

Actually the most crucial part was to bringing phone to boot loader mode. And I think I managed that by pushing the Volume Down and Back (the arrow pointing left) buttons immediately after restarting my phone. And I had to do this after taking out the battery and putting it back after 5 sec.
When I pushed these buttons at the start up the phone tried to install the ROM from my internal storage, but as I explained I had deleted it by mistake. Therefore it could not find the ROM. I disconnected my phone from my PC and the screen started to say something like Retrying USB connection or waiting for USB connection, something like that.
I restarted my PC in Digitally Signed feature disabled by pressing F8 during start-up. Reconnected my phone to PC (the screen of the phone was still blinking as waiting or retrying usb connection). And voila the phone screen changed to boot loader mode...
The rest was easy. I opened the USB connection feature from ActiveSync and used CustomRUU.exe with a ROM to flash my phone...
That is all...
1. plug phone in to computer in bootloader
2. run customruu or stock from rom update on computer
3. wait for rom to flash to device
4.???
5.profit
but my booloader dont show model ID: DIAM300 64M what i had befor
and show me only: 64M
and any flash error with invalid model id, i canot flash, rom, stock rom, or hardspl...

Try another version of Hard-SPL, some people report that 1.40 not fully works.
I suggest you try 1.94 Olinex.

im not sure but i dont think one can brick his/her phone after hard spl, thats the reason of hard spl in the first place that u dont brick it. boot loader is always present
