Thanks I was able to install substratum by pushing masquerade as a system app which i extracted from a custom rom. I was able to use some themes ( not all overlays) will test it further more through the weekend and update

Thank you for the note on Swift Black & Dark. I purchased both because of your post. I was almost about to switch to a non-stock based ROM but then saw this!

just dont apply overlays on android system, otherwise power menu gets bugged and turns in soft reboot

Besides that, is it also possible to add full oms support to oos? By creating a custom rom oos based and add oms support?

I had already applied it all with Swift Dark and am not having any issues with my Power Menu or Reboot Menu. How can I test to see what's wrong that you're referencing? I powered off, I rebooted, rebooted into Recovery and again into Bootloader and all of it worked properly that I could see.

I'm using custom ROMs right now, but maybe the bootloop was caused for using old 7.1 instead of OOS to get black notifications, don't remember exactly sorry

Did this method work? I'm thinking of doing the same. Pushing masquerade as system app.
Please confirm. Thanks

when u say u have tried you mean lock clean or other substratum themes. substratum themes are known to cause bootloops unless you use swift dark/black or otherwise dont apply the android system overlay.

Theming Oreo Beta on 5t

Does anyone have any guidance on theming the Oreo Beta? I've just downloaded the Andromeda app and client and applying Swift Black now... but I'm looking for any guidance/advice? For those who know something about theming OOS Oreo on the 5, or 3/T,... what can we theme, what do we have to stay away from? Any advice? I was hoping I'd be able to use the OMS themes I loved on my Nexus 6P once we got to Oreo... but I'm not really sure that they won't result in a bootloop knowing how OnePlus' frameworks and system UI aren't really stock android. Any Guidance?

[MAGISK] Android Pie Fonts

Thanks to @Shooting Star Max for extracting the files from the Android P Developer Preview 3. I've made his Magisk zip into a Unity installer zip file that allows you to install and uninstall the module easily. I've also uploaded the module to Github and now currently awaiting approval for uploading to the Magisk Repo.
Module is now updated to reflect the latest fonts from Android Pie PR2. Latest fonts extract from the Pixel 3 XL factory image.
The default font is still Roboto so if you don't find much changes, that means you're still up-to-date.
Google Sans mostly works on Pixel devices and some highlights on stock Android devices.
To find the new emojis, check on this website.
DOWNLOADS
Install through Magisk Repo or manually download the zip and install as a Magisk module.

Do I have to uninstall current font module before flashing this? Or simply flashing over it would work?

Black Status Bar

I just put this mod in with my Zip Mod Installer but since it works without having to install one of my bases I thought I would put it out here. This mod doesn't affect the navbar like my first one (where it turned black also) so you don't have to remove it if you don't want to. Flash in TWRP. A Magisk version is available also but it too must be installed via TWRP. STOCK ONLY

Edgesense is still working after installation of your mod. Both modules are active in magisk. I'll try disabeling his mod and report.
No success. Disabeling his mod and edge sense app isn't working. But also your mod isn't working. Deinstalled edge sense mod (deleted modul in magisk) and reinstalled your mod. Didn't work. Here some screenshots

Here is how you should do it after I upload a edge sense version.
Flash flash-all.bat after taking out the -w so data won't wipe.
Reboot
Boot back into bootloader
fastboot boot TWRP.img
Flash TWRP.zip
Flash Magisk uninstaller
Flash kernel if you like
Flash magiskv18
Reboot verify root
Boot into TWRP
Flash my regular edge sense mod, not Magisk version
Reboot
Proceed to install all of your modules minus edge sense module
Done
Okay. Let's flash... Gonna start already with flashing factory image to be prepared. Thanks.

Hello,
thanks for making this. i tried installing for magisk and its not working for me (stock/rooted 3XL). no edge sense apps/magisk modules installed. I'm willing to try the non-magisk version, but i don't see anything in the OP about how to remove this if i don't like it.
Also, does this enable two rows of notifications like in your screenshot? Thanks!

I can give you a restore to flash. The two rows of statusbar are available in my other thread (ADB and Zip installer). If you haven't installed any modules then the regular one would be the right one.
Works great with Round Screen app from the Play Store. It's the only rounded corner overlay app I've tried that doesn't have a persistent notification. @Tulsadiver any plans on making native round corners in the mod?

It is native as is. I didn't make the screen square. All I did was change the status bar black. I've tried a few things to try and get it rounded but so far it hasn't worked.
Anybody tried this mod on february security update? I'm on holiday and cant update to february build before saturday...
Edit: seems SystemUI.apk has no changes in february update. So i think the mod will work with no issues.
SystemUI changed. So flashing this mod on february update leads to bootloop... But is no problem because now this mod seems to be integrated in flashable zips in Tulsadiver's main thread. There all is updated to february patch. So no need to update this mod.
