Stock Rom Needed Prestigio Wize 3407 4G - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hi guys,
I have tablet Prestigio Wize 3407 4G and I need the Stock ROM for this model. Unfortunately I cannot find any.
The broblem is that I accidentally flashed a wrong recovery image. Now the device is in the boot-loop. Cannot boot up and cannot get into the recovery menu.
Do you know where I could get it? Or would be someone so kind and would provide me the ROM from his tablet ?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
you can find “stock ROMs” here:
Code:
de05.dl.prestigio.com/Service_Files/TabletPC/PMT3407_4G/
.
Please, follow the instructions.
P.S. If you need to bypass Google account verification (“This device was reset.”, “Phone stuck on “Sign in with a google account that was previously synced on this device””, “Factory reset protection (FRP)”) you should be able to do it following this tutorial:
Code:
youtube.com/watch?v=Q2TrOOGf5Gs
.
Good luck!

i9192 hard bricked

My i9192 s4 mini got hard bricked while charging I don't know how or why it happened..
I found this somewhere in the forum.. can anyone make me a dump file for i9192 because I don't know anyone who has the same phone as me so I'm asking for help. I tried to bring it to a programmer but they said they have to j-tag it for 3days up to a week. but I don't want to leave my phone on other people's hand so I'd rather fix this myself.
help would be really really appreciated. TIA
initial situation:
- we have a brick with killed bootloader after unsuccessful flashing, not turning on, no reaction on buttons, no any mode available (recovery, download).
What is needed:
- any Linux, like Ubuntu, but more convinient is PartedMagic of any version;
- MicroSD card;
- working phone of the same model or dump of its first 139008 blocks (about 70MB).
How to make a dump:
- on rooted device download from Google Play app "TerminalEmulator" and run it;
- Enter su, appears "[email protected]:/ #", enter "dd if=dev/block/mmcblk0 of=sdcard/mmcblk0uptop7.img count=139008";
- after completion copy file "mmcblk0uptop7.img" from the phone to PC, for example to drive C:/.
How to revive the phone:
- insert MicroSD into PC and launch "PartedMagic";
- copy dump to MicroSD, for this open Terminal, we see "[email protected]:~#", enter "dd if=/media/WIN7/mmcblck0uptop7.img of=/dev/mmcblk0", where "/media/WIN7/" - it's your drive C:/, where stored a dump, and "/dev/mmcblk0mmcblk0" - your MicroSD in PartedMagic;
- wait for completion, remove MicroSD;
- put MicroSD to non-working phone, connect the phone to PC using USB;
- if all steps are done correctly, phone will boot by pressing the keys, using bootloader from external MicroSD;
- now it is possible to re-flash internal eMMC using Odin, to make a possibility to remove external card;
- that's all, phone completely revived.
Supported devices:
- tested on i9190, will work on i9192/i9195, should work on smartphones of other brands with new Qualcomm chips.
Technical details:
- details are too big to write. If you are interested - read about MSM8930 boot architecture and etc.
Some conclusions:
- Qualcomm has made a good modern chip, with a lot of feasibility, but not placing many information to open sources;
- Samsung - trying to complicate life of users by integrating of its own digital signature, what is leading to immediate bricking of devices when trying to modify bootloader. Be careful.

I don't know if there's another way tho. but thanks anyway. even my phone is not rooted. I'll bring it to a service center today but I doubt they can get it fixed because the warranty of my phone is in another country and I'm in the Philippines right now. probably I will have to pay for it if they try to fix it but it's gonna be expensive.. I just want to save some bucks and try to fix it myself but unfortunately I don't have another phone like this one to do that, neither my friends.
EDIT:
Unfortunately they keep refusing to J-TAG my unit.. they said that they don't have software to j-tag i9192.
I'll upload mine when I get to the office

same thing happened still on that root recovery mode.. the problem is I'm stuck at flashing my phone.. probably the problem is the version of the firmware @jburgos gave me.. I need to know what version is his firmware and where it came from so I can download the stock firmware for that version.
can you get into download mode ?? a quick glance a jburgos proflie shows he is most likely using a Latin American firmware , though i really doubt that it will make diffrence, if you can get into download mode you can try flashing it again with your stock firmware.
by mistake i had deleted my image file and right now i am on a really bad connection uploading another image will tale me 3 days

[Q] Restore Z1 Compact to stock firmware before sending it for warranty repair.. help

Hello XDA!
I've ran into some hardware related issues with my Z1 compact (the earphone jack is glitchy) and i want to send my phone in for repairs.
The thing is i have a modded cyanogenmod firmware on it as i preferred it over the stock rom. I also have that clockword mod thing.
As you can tell i'm not very accostumed to doing these things and i was wondering if anyone would guide me on how to restore the phone to its original stock setting?
The phone is a swedish device so i would need the scandinavian versions i'm guessing, any ideas out there?
Thanks.

You just need to find the right firmware for your region / provider.
I would recommend IaguCool's thread on Xperia Firmware Downloader & Checker, if you have flashtool installed you can make your own ftf that is exactly right for your phone. All the instructions are in the thread.
Hopefully you made a copy of your TA partition before you unlocked it and put CM on your phone? it may not matter if you have not, as long as it looks stock.

Hey digesteve,
Thanks, i'll check that tool out. I don't know if i made any backups of my TA partition, but probably no because i don't know about it.
Is there a way to see if i made a backup of the TA partition, could it be stored somewhere on the phone after installing clockwork mod?
Thanks for the help!

If you didn't do it, then it won't be saved anywhere on the phone. You have to physically copy it to the hard drive of your pc for safekeeping.
It doesn't matter, it won't stop you from restoring the stock rom and I don't think not having it voids the warranty. Maybe somebody could correct me on that?

Definitely didn't do it then. Hopefully they won't give me any trouble for rooting it, it's worth a shot anyway.
I've downloaded the firmware but it doesn't come in the same sort of package as cyanogenmod, are there any guides you can recommend on how to apply this firmware to the phone?
and don´t forget to relock the bootloader with flashtool!

You'll need a copy of flashtool and the adb drivers.
Flashtool will turn the downloaded files into a tft file, but all the instructions are in the thread.
If you get lost then XperienceD's AIO thread will guide you in the right direction
I downloaded flashtool from sonys website and it actually listed stock firmwares in a list which i could apply to my phone so i did.
Now the phone boots into what seems to the be stock firmware, however i was going to go into recovery just to check that was restored too and not the clockworkmod i had previously installed but it seems i cannot boot to recovery anymore, what can i do? Where can i find the "stock recovery" that these phones comes with? I want the phone to seem as it was never rooted/changed on the software level

You have flashed the Sony rom, so now it is stock, with no root or recovery. There isn't a stock recovery. Your work is done.
Isn't there a menu you can boot to that gives you the option to wipe cache partition and do some various other stuff? Perhaps this is only for samsung devices, sorry for the confusion and thanks for the help!
Hopefully the service goes as planned!
Is still the way to do it or is there any new ways ?? I have bought a Z1 Compact for my son who is 8 and he wants it back to stock. It has CyanogenMod now.....cant recall what version though since i dont have the phone with me.

My LG G4 - LG-H815P locked in fastboot mode. It's hopeless, help please.

About two weeks and a few days, I bought an LG-H815P (used - came in the box, with the same IMEI number and voucher) Stockrom with root, as I could not upgrade because of root, I decided to install a modified rom. Then my problems started: the device had the message [secure boot error / error code: 1002]. So I decided to install a new stockrom, I downloaded the LG site, tried it first with [LGMobile Support Tool], it did not work I did with [LG Bridge] as the program itself sent. By an unfortunate distraction I believe I have installed the wrong version Stockrom. My device simply erased, did not give a sign of life. After following some tutorials on the internet I was able to recover it with [QFIL], I installed all the drives of the tutorial I followed, at the end of the process instead of going into download mode, it enters [fastboot mode] and does not leave it. I tried several times the procedure [volume up + plug the USB] for a second the image download mode appears, but soon it goes to screen [fastboot mode] and does not leave it, never.
Help Please

Hello, there is a program called LGUP. You can downgrade/upgrade android using this tool with your device kdz files. I would recommend to install same android version as it was before. Plus you can install custom roms only same android version as it was original. So i think that was the reason why you can't boot up your phone now.
Here is simple tutorial how to install and use this tool i mentioned before: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
If there will be error during android installation i add .dll file to change with original one (its path: LGUP/models/ directory.)
I hope you succed. Cheers.

No need to instal it, just run as superuser.

Need help , recovery is gone and system too. Unable to install recovery or system.

Hi,
I recently bought Mi 9 se (chinese version). Long story short I unlocked the bootloader through official method and installed TWRP , flashed EU rom with help of TWRP an didn't keep any back up. After EU rom was installed it went into a boot loop and I ended up wiping it from the phone. Now nothing is working. I am unable to install TWRP , even official recovery is not there , there is no system I am unable to install it throuh Mi flash tool or ADB . Mi flash tool gives error that script not found. I am stuck at bootloader and I have no idea what to do.
Would really appreciate if someone could help me out here . It's a new phone and it has become useless due to my own carelessness . Please help.
can you enter fastboot? if you do, try flashing with mi flash tool as your phone were unlocked so it will go flawlessly. and don't forget to download fastboot rom first in this forum.

That's the best way indeed. here are the links:
https://xiaomiflashtool.com/download/xiaomi-flash-tool-20181115
https://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.2.3.0....60219f14d6.tgz
You must unzip the tgz to obain a folder containing some ".bat". Like "flash_all.bat" if I remember ==> that's the script it should find. And then you select the folder in the mi flash tool and flash without relock.
My advice: a direct connexion between PC and phone using an USB2 port, not USB3.
Should take about 350s for the complete flash.

I think you have dowloaded the wrong file.
This one is the right: grus_eea_global_images_V10.2.3.0.PFBEUXM_20190403.0000.00_9.0_eea_60219f14d6.tgz
Need to unzip it twice and you will find the rights files. Be carefull to download the "fastboot" one and not the "recovery" one.
Thank you both members
Thank you both of you for replying. Problem was solved through Mi Flash tool once I had the correct rom package. everything seems to be working good. No problem, I was in the same situation at first. It's always annoying to brick a brand new phone. But there is often a way to repair that!

Possible brick or semi brick

Well let me explain this question, i bought this device in aliexpress cause i live in mexico, so, my device version is the chinese (this for the network compatibility).
when the new software version roll out i downloaded in the realme web i tried to install it. But i was not able to, so i unlocked the bootloader to try some custom roms, i install the recovery TWRP , and then i downloaded the pixwel experience, before installing i checked and the realme ui update was released, so i tried to install it, but i couldn't cause i had the bootloader unlocked and the custom recovery.
Next thing i did was install the stock recovery, and then i locked again the bootloader, but now the cellphone dont start, it only shows the screen of "The current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed and can not boot. Please flash the correct image or contact customer service to fix it" .
The problem here is, the recovery dont start and the fastboot its locked and i can't bypass that.
I'm looking for a solution, but i want to know if anyone have solve this before or have any idea to do it. Thanks guys!
well it happened to me same the only way is to take it to realme service center or finde some one who have the oppo realme server to flash it like i did ifound a guy who have an official server the flash my device am from algeria

i´ve been "searching" (not too much to be honest) a way to flash my device, or even easier, to unlock the bootloader, once that is done, i will be able to do the next thing.
There are ways to "force" flashing modifying the hardware (i really don't want to that), other places suggest flashing a vbmeta.img, but i get back to the same, i need the bootloader
im actualy downloading UFI android tool, any update i will post it

I think EDL mode flashing stock ROM is a good way, but is there compatible download tool or image? I have ever used Miflash to downgrade my bootloader locked Xiaomi 4c for unlocking bootloader in EDL mode (maybe "fasboot oem edl" ,"fastboot reboot-edl", or "fastboot reboot edl" command).
Unlocking the Mi4c Bootloader: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4c/general/guide-unlocking-mi4c-bl-verification-t3336779

Did you get the solution same problem

did u get the solution bro
Not yet, i have some steps to do it, but now im facing the last step, the file don´t get recognized by the tool, this tool ask for a scatter file, and the one with QFIL, i need a xml firehose fle, and i havent found it
did u get the solution bro[/QUOTE]
What i got is this:
Emergency download: press vol + and vol - then connect it to the pc, the pc will recognize it as port 9008 com in the device manager of your pc, if yor phone reboots u have to disconnect the battery cause the battery forces the reboot of the EDL mode, maybe if you put the phone on EDL mode an then quickly flash would work with out tearing appart the device
Files: you need to install qualcomm drivers (https://gsmusbdrivers.com/download/android-qualcomm-usb-driver/), download the .ofp file of your device (i get if from here https://oppostockrom.com/oppo-realme-x-rmx1901 ), then you need to download the tool you will use
here is where things are gonna get a bit harder
MSMDownload: this is the official tool, it came withe ofp file from the link i put before, the proble is you need a user and password, i haven't found where to get one official, its from oppo workers i guess
There is a cracked version, but don't recognizes the file
QFIL: its for qualcom devices (found it here https://androidmtk.com/download-qualcomm-flash-image-loader-qfil), this will let you flash every qualcomm device (or thats what they tell you), it shows the port, but ask for a xml file and a programer path (thing that i haven't found it yet)
Cracked MSMDownload: i found this https://www.techoxygen.com/msm-download-tool/ , https://romprovider.com/2020/02/flash-qualcomm-devices-using-msm-download-tools/, or this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CKsEOfGGaQ
now, in my case the file its not recognized, it says incorrect scatter file, from here you can start diggin around, if you solve this please let me know
