The image is only for Exynos3470 based S5 Mini variants SM-G800F/M/Y.
It might be instable, crash your device, drain your battery, or even might damage your smartphone (e.g. if an USB-OTG device drains too much power)
Some users reported that their touch-screen stopped working permanently after some weeks of usage. For some user's (two at the moment including me) NFC stopped working permanently. Probably this issues are not related to this ROM as also many stock user's complain about hardware issues (random reboots, black screens, unresponsive touchscreen) but you have been warned.
Backup your data before flashing and check if the original firmware is present (e.g. at SamMobile)

I'll let Zocker answer this as he built the ROM. I just helped out where I could. I am pretty sure that was accidentally put there though. I don't expect OTA.

For OTA updates I would have to set up a server and publish frequent new builds and upload them to the server. That is a little to much for me

Thx for this. Nice Rom and good Work. But I have a Question. Normally you can config the Back-Button in Developer-Options to "shoot up" the actual Application. But I can´t find this Switch anywhere?
And the Option "Keys" is only available via Search. But if I change something there it has no effect.

Go to customizations (the special RR menu) , swipe till you get to keys, go to hardware keys, back button, longpress, custom action, close app.

Danke, deshalb mag Ich sie ja so, weil sie Xposed features mitbringt. Man munkelt, dass demnächst Dirty Unicorns rauskommt
Was ich bis heute aber nicht rausgefunden habe (und was auch bei keinem anderen Rom bis jetzt geklappt hat): Wie kriege ich das Handy dazu, wenn ich ein USB Kabel anstöpsel, direkt in den Dateiübertragungsmodus zu gehen? Jedesmal landet er im Lademodus. Und den Tip bei rausgezogenem USB-Kabel in den Dev-Options die Verbindungsart einzustellen hilft auch nicht wirklich.

These are the same bugs as on LineageOS 14. The only current bug I know is the camera bug.
You can fix it by deleting the stock camera app and installing an alternative like google camera or open camera.

If you want to do a clean flash, then yes. More than likely, the steps givens are for new people who want to flash the rom (that's what the nandroid backup is for) for the first time.

Its up to the rom developer some don't wipe the gapps and others do, it's all part of the install script.
this rom needs gapps reflashed each time if I remember correctly

Yeah I think so, they are all system apps and the system is what gets wiped in a dirty flash

downloading, will test and report. but downloading is very very slow from dev-host site...anything on AFH/g drive or dropbox would be great...it takes lot of time to even start the downloading..almost getting 1/20th of the actual downloading speed.

2-18-17 is my last build, I will no longer be creating builds. I'm disabled and it has become too onerous for me to continue. My apologies. If someone would like to take this thread over just let me know.
How often will this be updated?
Likely every Friday afternoon. I'm not a developer, I just run the scripts the real developers created to allow the ROM to build if you're able to find the right files.
What doesn't work?
As it is based on LineageOS 14.1 it will have the same list. Which currently is
Lower than stock audio volumes
MHL out to TV not working
You can always check that thread for fixes/tips
Lock screen rotation not working?
Add this code to the build.prop file through an app like Root Browser, then save it and reboot. If you're into backing up the previous build.prop, do so before just in case.

Seems to be working well (except for google voice search/typing which is a cm bug) on my T900; thanks!

Yes; the only things I've found so far that don't work are the blue light filter and google voice search/typing; I believe these are CM 14.1 bugs.

it works much faster than the stock rom. And it seems consuming less power.
The only problem I have so far is the certain Google NOW Cards can't fit into the screen properly.
For example, the cards only show about half of NBA teams in the screen and I can't swipe to left to show the rest.
My laptop took a massive poop, and then my backup image said - so sorry there is something wrong with me. ack! currently attempting a workaround via mounting the vhd directly. Weeeeeee

This rom's really a pleasant experience, JD. Haven't had a single issue, really. It's butter smooth, fast and really battery friendly. You guys have saved this great tablet. In fact, there's not a tablet on the market right now, that I rather want. The only thing I'm missing is theme engine. Let's hope that LOS implement it soon. There are some themes out there, that makes a screen of this size look stunning.

Try third party gallery app from playstore.
I can't adjust the hardware keys... The system claims that there's no navigation method when soft keys are disabled.

OK that worked, but I can't save screenshots and download anything from browser (force closes when trying to download) now bcs of the storage issue,
How do I remove the "all navigation methods disabled" warning? I Don't need navigation bar fr this phone

I think the problem is permission which is not enable like it used to select SD from file manager..
Just copy anything from internal storage to external SD card and it will enable everything..

This rom is based on the stock oreo 8.1 OPM2.171019.029 April 2018 rom from Google. The instructions below assume your device is already on that rom. This is important because your device needs to have the vendor, radio, bootloader, and other img's from that rom. So, if you need to, flash the OPM2.171019.029 stock rom first. If coming from previous RR build simply follow instructions.
Taimen factory images
Both TWRP 3.2.0-0 and TWRP 3.2.1-2 have been confirmed working.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Twrp version 3.2.0-0 can't decrypt data if it's secured with pin, password, etc. So, before you begin go to lockscreen security settings and change it to 'none' or 'swipe'.
1. boot into twrp and factory reset
2. flash rom zip
3. flash twrp zip
Reboot & enjoy.
All builds from here on out will be completely Root-less. We have decided as a TEAM its best to let you the users decide what you want on your devices. So if you want/need Root access please flash either Magisk or SU.

Edit. Also everyone who flashes this you can go ahead and freeze that modem services in Titanium Backup so you don't get that force close anymore doesn't affect anything at least it doesn't seem to.
And the back to kill app action is broke but is known issue and being worked on.
Also the tile to reboot to recovery and reboot the system in the Quick Settings is broke also known and going to be fixed soon
And the vendor mismatch is also known issue being worked on and doesn't affect anything either

I'm getting a vendor mismatch from a clean install of the latest image. I started with the latest image installed. Installed RR via TWRP 3.2.1.0. Boots up and I get the vendor mismatch pop up

There's a few bugs we still have to work out
Back to kill app is getting worked on, and if you guys have problem decrypting in twrp after u set a pattern/fingerprint, try freezing FX Audio. I know it sounds weird but that fixed it for me.

Things I've noticed so far.
Options under Display>Colors have no change. I have enabled Saturated option but it looks the same as the default option.
and
Modem service has stopped working
I'm also getting modem service has stopped after a reboot. Not seeing it affect anything though.
