AOSP ROMs for Xiaomi Mi Max - Xiaomi Mi Max Questions & Answers

I've been looking everywhere for Mi Max Helium aosp roms and couldn't find anything, it's really weird. Where are these roms?

I use this ROM PURE NEXUS
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max/development/rom-t3577555

Pure Nexus, Nitrogen and BlissROM are the three so far.

RR 5.8.x is based on CyanogenMod

Very basic questions:
1. What is AOSP and Cyanogen ROM?
2. Whats the difference between the two?
3. What are the pros/cons of these two?

Use latest twrp and reflash clean ROM and try
I'm not sure with this but I don't face such issue
Cm 14. is buggy
I would say, go with Slim7. It's the smoothest ROM I've ever tried. It's also stable as well.

For me they are nt still stable yet. Go for MM roms(CM13, slim6) those roms are good in terms of battery drain when not using in comparison with miui. SOT is similar in all roms(KK,LP,MM,N)(~10-20%) different from each other.
I'm a redmi 1s user. I've tried many custom ROMs on this phone. The best that I found was slim6 in everything, i found it fastest. But if you need android nougat then AEX (AOSP Extended) is the best, it supports substratum. I'm using AEX in present. Battery is best in slim6 but it is android marshmallow. Both roms are pre-rooted.

Happy new year to all............
Im using dotos 2.4 and i can rate it 8.5/10, it is rly good (stability, performance, battery) with very few and small lags very rare. I also tried pixyos but it was very laggy for daily use. Here in this forum place, they like aosp entended 5.4 and lineage but i do not have used them.
If someone have used all the above roms and have opinion, we r glad to here
sooooooo..... dot os? lineage? or aosp entended?
