Intro
This is a version not official of Resurrection Remix port for Galaxy Note II GT-N7105.
It is based on Nougat 7.1.1_r21 and nightlies of LineageOS 14.1 and Resurrection Remix from 28th February.
OMS is integrated since Release 12.​

Installation​On your rooted device with a custom recovery (TWRP 3.0.x + recommended) :
1st install - "clean install"
Make a full nandroid backup <always backup!>
Full wipe device
Install Rom
Install 7.1 Gapps (recommended Open Gapps Pico)
Wipe Cache and Art / Dalvik
Reboot
Wait for 1st boot
2nd and subsequent installs - "dirty flash"
Make a full nandroid backup <always backup!>
Install Rom

Wait for App optimization
Dirty flash may be possible for some updates, but be prepared that progress sometimes means you will need to clean install updates!

Thanks a lot for the work. I gave it a few clean installs, but it was never able to detect my SIM card. Any ideas?

I tried this tonight and I had an issue with it not detecting the cel network. It did come up for a bit and could make calls and texts, but no data. My flash an older radio/modem. The rom is slick besides the radio/modem issue.

Hello, just tried this RR-N-v5.8.2-20170304-t0lte-Unofficial rom on my T-Mobile SGH-T889 as it was installing i got 2 E:unknown command [log] in red after that I booted and started up, I did a clean install. Now there is no mobile data. It is asking to install a sim card which there is one already. I get mtp host has stopped, camera error can't connect to the camera, . When i try to go to setting, wireless & networks then click more, click cellular networks i get a com.android.phone has stopped. I will try the official next.
Update i have tried clean install of the official and got
"Updater process ended with ERROR: 225
Error installing zip file '/external_sdcard/
Download/RR-N-V5.8.3-20170527-CP8298_I00-official."

Hi Dear,
I have t0ltetmo(SGH-T889)T-mobile samsung galaxy note II. I have been using RR for long time now, Lollipop, marshmallow and now flashed the ROM 7.x you gave the link for today(5.8.3), but in all RR ROM's, GPS didn't work on its own without having wifi or cellular data connection. can you please let us know how to fix the gps and also have it faster gps lock.
This is the only thing don't work. Everything works.

У меня T889 Залил прошивку,все просто изумительно! Но есть одно но пропадает постоянно сеть оператора. Выход то есть но он надоел просто нужно включить мобильный интернет и сразу отключить и вуаля сеть снова на месте но сразу после окончания звонка снова исчезает!ну а вообщем RR это просто Космос. Ах да залил был Xposed через TWRP он завис на загрузке!

Did you factory reset the phone before flashing the rom? <-- it's not a requirement but helps troubleshooting.
Did you properly unroot the phone before installing Magisk? <-- you can't just flash Magisk over this rom without unrooting.
Did you flash the latest version (v13.3) <-- What does the Magisk Manager say when you open it?
What settings did you select in Magisk? <-- I'm using Core only, magisk hide on, systemless hosts off.
Do you mean that Magisk Manager reported that the phone is not rooted? <-- Did you check the Magisk logs?
What do you mean by "binary occupied"?

after using WiFi for a while if I turn off wifi and then try to use mobile data then mobile data doesn't work.
if i restart phone or turn on airplane mode then mobile works

It's working very smoothly up to now, including battery consumption.
In the Telegram group, the installations instructions says that TWRP is already included in the ROM, but it's not.
The OTA feature downloads a 1.5Gb file, but was not able to install it in the other slot.
Why did the bootanimation become white/black? It is related to the color theme of our settings?
I also tryed to compile the ROM by myself but did not manage to pass some initial errors.
I was able to compile the GSI (Treble) ROM, but our phone is not the best to test GSIs, at least, not for me. GSI Rom did not boot. Maybe anyone else could try.
Missed (very minor) features and or glitches:
- Resize old apps full screen (the option we have does not work or the app uses just part of the screen)
- Wi-Fi drops that I cannot really trace the cause (maybe my DNS)
- Our FOD is not the best in class, and it's not different in EvolutionX
- Without the labels, the QS icons are too far from each other and the space could be trimmed
- The option (setting) to remove the VPN message at the bottom of the QS
- Reorient (swap) volume buttons when 180º rotated
- Forced close messages disable option
- Among the (amazing!) vibration patterns, I miss the very simple "da-da" one
- When clicking the "Do not disturb" QS icon, the tile does not expand by itself to show all options (time to be in silent, for intance)
- Weather is not being displayed in lockscreen (although listed in the settings)

TWRP is now included in latest build (4.1.69)
OTA is a bug that is still under development
Edit: it's fixed in the latest build.

Yes , the labels removed make the gap too large and many other minor issues exist. But these are from ROM source , and these exist on any other phone running evox. So it is not developer's fault.
Some bugs such as weather and the dnd qs tile bug will probably be fixed in next builds.

I couldn't get the last build to work with wifi and bt.
I flashed the vendor on both slots, formated data, followed the steps a bunch of times but no success.
Wat i can do to work?

I can't backup data partition within TWRP. Am I alone?

3rd party chargers support?
My 18W 3rd party charger doesnt work(it takes 3 hours for full charge). It worked fine with PE ROM and Stock ROM. Is it because of ROM or kernel maybe? Xiaomi 10W charger that comes with the phone works fine.

I experienced the same bug as W3ND31. At first it wouldn't even boot even tough I followed the Installation instructions exactly.
After I cleared cache again (2nd time after initial install) I got it to boot but WiFi and BT wouldn't work. 2-3 more reboots in would somehow fix it but BT Audio is not working properly in my car, only for headphones. I really like this Rom but its not stable yet and has some minor bugs like the ones mentioned above.
I think the issue with WiFi/BT could be related to global and EU vendor. I am back to EU stock now but will check again after some updates have been made and I really hope this Rom will stay maintained unlike some of the other Roms for this phone and I am even willing to donate once its working 'flawless'.
I am sorry I couldn't provide some logcats but I didn't have time because this is my main device and I was testing this in the evening before work.

Mi A3 bootloader doesn't allow data partition to be backed up in TWRP , so you're not alone

Everything is working for me , all you need to do before installing is to flash pie vendor on both slots(flash fastboot pie ROM) then follow installation instructions.

I like the mods included, but not a great fan of pixel, nice smooth rom though

Hi there, nice port (from what i've read lol), but I cannot install it on my SM-G960F (starlte) because of my vendor image not being compatible to android 10. I used a custom One UI rom on android 9 before. Could you provide me a link to the proper vendor please? I'd really love to use your rom
I'm fairly new to this whole kernel flashing scene, so I flashed the white wolf kernel which was recommended by you and failed hahah, it's always rebooting

I keep getting a boot loop.. Is there any recommended vendor/bootloader or anything needed for it to work?

You need to have latest bootloader and modem installed before you flash this, search this forum you should find a flashable zip

I flashed the rom, and from what I've seen so far I'm pretty happy with it. The only thing that bothers me is that my sim card won't be detected anymore. It didn't happen before and when I reflashed another rom it was detected again. Is there a solution to that? I followed the exact steps mentioned to flash.

I have the same problem as you before, until I tried to flash the stock Firmware from here and flash it through twrp, and it works perfectly.

Simply awesome ROM! Thanks dev. Two things that I miss; security patch updates and left/right arrows for navigation bar. They do not come up as visible from the evolution settings and layout tuner despite the options are there. The ROM is stable and fast as a lightning.

I download the zip file from Mega, but it contains 3 differents zip files:
1) EvolutionX_4.3_crownlte-10.0-20200515-1845-UNOFFICIAL.zip
2) EvolutionX_4.3_star2lte-10.0-20200515-1931-UNOFFICIAL.zip
3) EvolutionX_4.3_starlte-10.0-20200515-1920-UNOFFICIAL.zip
Which one have I to flash?

Dépend on your phone.
Mine is G965F and it's star2lte

Mine is S9 SM-G960F so it should be starlte (?)

I'm finding that my battery becomes incredibly hot using this ROM to the point that I can't even charge it when I am on a video call (and shortly after when the heat continues to affect my S9). Is there a fix for this? Great ROM otherwise.

Pretty cool ROM, I prefer this over Lineage OS. I feel like there is more customization and smoothness to be had here

Without logs I can't help. Take logcat right before it reboots. And send me the logs. And IDK if this is happening on 10 beta too. We will have to test it. Also some guys from different devices with EvoX 4.4 have this kind of problems too. Can u test it on crdroid too?

I have find this community because I'm in search to root my old ZenFone 5.
I read a lot of your post, on ZenFone 5.
Finally, i decided to update it with Evolution OS, because is up to date firmware.
I only have 2 question.
1. The GPS working fine or is unactive?
(i have not read it on the features list)
2. I'm not sure what is the correct procedure to flash it.
Some post use adb, another post mentioned dedicated Asus software.
Someone can show me a link with the ultimate procedure for flash my phone?
I have flashed other phone, in past, but was more easier. (ex. Odin and Samsung)

You need to install custom firmware or use beta 3 firmware. Beta firmware makes you lose widevine. Custom firmware doesn't.

apn for my carrier is showing and works too
which carrier btw u use and what country letme know
For now u have to manually add the apn

Go to mobile network then apn and create new apn settings contact ur carrier provider they will guide u

Upgraded to this load from the previous by system upgrade (dirty) - the problem that the phone is hot and discharging within a few hours even if not in use.

From EvolutionX_4.7_z2_plus-10.0-20200926-1406-OFFICIAL - was notifyed by software update prompt - over the air upgrade.
Also the battery % is not displayed in the top bar if not plugged into charger.

I've wiped cache + system, installed the build again. So far is good. Thank you.

Should the battery percentage be shown here? Do I miss any settings? Using all defaults. Thank you.

go to settings>evolver>statusbar>statusbar battery indicator and then battery percentage

With a dirty install from previous evolution 4.7, I couldn't unblock on the first boot, because I used auto unlock when inserting right pin and no fingerprint unlock after reboot.
After a clean flash everything went well. Except for the wifi that doesn't turn on after I left it off for a while, always need to reboot.

Do clean every partition expect internal storage and then flash only rom no gapps needed

Bluetooth not connecting to hand's free.
Wallpaper crashing while trying to pick photo from google photos

Great rom, thanks for the support.
Dirty flashed to 5.2 from 5.1, so far so good.
After I clean installed 5.1 I faced random wifi disconnects.
Launching Google play store I noticed there were a fair number of internal android apps asking to be updated, after the updates I didn't have any other issue with the wifi. Did you guys above check if there's any update in play store?
