Already read the return to stock thread, quick question. The custom ROM is 4.2.1, I want to return to stock 4.2.2. Do I need to flash the factory rom from the google developers site 4.04 first, or do I go straight to the latest 4.2.2 factory rom? Thank you.

Every Factory Image released by google is supposed to be indipendent from OS installed, unless you've not repartition phone , you can always flash factory image and return to stock, from 4.2.2 you need full wipe ( data & cache ) , you can skip this phase but you may have a force close due new encryption to /data/app ( see changelog ), this is reason that factory image with flash-all.bat wipe automatically /data partition and SDCARD ( useless to format unless you had full encryption on phone )
So Ive recently updated my Sony Xperia ZL to KitKat and I dont like it at all. It slowed down the performance and drains my battery. My question is: Is there a way to downgrade and go bak to Jellybean without having my device Rooted? That is all, thank you so much if u can figure it out.
P.S. If i erase all data of my phone by going back to Factory Settings, will this revert bak to Jellybean?
no.. reset factory will reset phone to default state in current version of android... u need to reflash 4.3 firmware using flash tool..

Hi, Im stock rooted, and using recovery that I can lauch only from my PC, not bump one, I can't find this thread now, so I can't restore orginal recovery, I notice that there is new OTA update "L" one, I don't have it yet, but I want to prepare for it. What should I do? This will be enough?

i rooted my Xperia M follllowing this guide, and now i need to unroot it. I know that flashing stock ROM with ODIN will unroot it, but i wonder if i can also unroot it by doing a factory reset, since i have the original ROM installed yet...

Yesterday I have had many problems with my Note 10.1 (P600). I've had a custom ROM and had it rooted.
Today I decided to put back the original firmware from Samsung via Odin.
Can i do a factory reset now without any problems?
Hopefully someone can help me.

Sure, if you want to reflash factory firmware, just use Odin and flash. Make sure you backup all your stuff before factory reset or flash stock firmware.
