Please either clarify how you magically added FM radio to the Quark or delete that feature from your list.
From what we understand of the Quark hardware over the past two years, Motorola disabled the Quark FM radio feature at the manufacturing stage and it would take physically soldering wires inside the phone to re-enable it, so that wired headphones could really act as the necessary antenna.
While one person claimed to have enabled the FM radio in the past, his claim was never verified independently and he never responded to requests for more information. Even then he claimed he added it via RadioComm, which is a powerful internal Motorola engineering software package. How someone else would add it via just a ROM makes me curious, if true.
This "FM radio" discrepancy was mentioned by users in the previous version of the ROM you posted (FM radio wasn't there, even though you had it in the feature list!) -- as well as the lack of Quark Ambient Display on that ROM. Someone has said you did correct Ambient Display this time, but what about FM radio? Is this truly a working feature, and if so, how?
Also please confirm that you fixed the missing Ambient Display issue?

How do I root it? Do I need to install separate superSU? if Yes should I use any specific version?
I was mostly using RR for the last year or so, there I just needed to enable root in the settings. I cant find it in setting in this rom
EDIT:
I used latest version from xda: 2.79 and it seems to work fine
There is no menu (3dots) button in titanium backup (possibly in other apps also)

I have been using this ROM for a couple of days now...the ambient display works in this ROM, the way it actually should (like Moto Display). I would suggest @bhb27 and @NepoRood to have a look at this ROM and possibly fix their versions accordingly. While touching the notifications in Ambient Display, the screen does not come into colour mode / wake the display!!!

@Kranoner which kernel and device repository do you use?. i tried building one rom using kernel and device for titan from CyanogenMod but ended up with some sepolicy error

I've just flashed it, and I see all the features I loved from Turbo, and even more.
Installing apps now.
The bluetooth file transfer issue from other roms is still present. I don't really care about it, but just to make it clear for someone who does.

i dont think its 7.1.1 issue...i am using MOSP which is a 7.1.1 rom...bluetooth is working fine !

Exactly @Kham123 is right, I am using Resurrection Remix v5.8.0 which is Android 7.1.1 and Bluetooth File Transfer working perfectly fine here

Do i have to flash soak test N ROM first? I'm on MM stock.
I installed this ROM, but cannot find the live display settings anywhere. It is very important to me since I have a lgd screen and there is pixel burn-in and the only solution is to change the RGB values.
Hope it's there in the later builds. Other than that, flawless ROM has been developed.

I'm experiencing an issue.. I have droid turbo xt1254 on verizon. Did the usual.. Install rom wiped cache dalvik.. Etc..
I'm getting a "insert sim popup"@ on ocassion.. With sim already inside the tray. Never had this issue before until this update. I also get set on roaming mode once in a while. Nothing major but I thought I would address it. Other than that rom is flawless for me.

I'm getting a "insert sim popup"@ on ocassion.. With sim already inside the tray. Never had this issue before until this update. I also get set on roaming mode once in a while. Nothing major but I thought I would address it. Other than that rom is flawless for me.

I figured it out.. Under suspend actions, it enables 2g network by default on screen off. I disabled that and didn't ask me for sim card anymore.

The 2G switch is Suspend Action in Extensions - System - first option.
Why is this happening? How can I prevent it from happening again (resolved by restarting)

Some U.S. carriers like AT&T have actually shut down their 2G network. So yeah that would definitely cause an error message if that's the default setting on screen off, if I was using this ROM.

Everything works correctly. However, there is still a lot of AospEx functionality.
The only thing I had to do was edit the updater-script file and delete the phone version check.
Originally, the installer stopped on this line reporting an error.

Is it possible to make this for the LG G6 us997?
testing aex 6.0...
came from v5.8 with full clean flash (internal storage as well)...
noticed things so far:
- less extension options (i.e. can't set a clock position in status bar, can't add action to navbar buttons, can't change the battery icon, etc...)
- can't turn off the low battery led blinking
- no themes as in 5.8...
- brightness slider almost doesn't change anything until around 75% and above...
- google camera app is crap (it saves pictures rotated and only in 1:1 aspect ratio no matter if i choose 4:3 or 16:9 ratio) - Bacon camera works ok... but i'd still prefer Snapdragon camera app if possible...
that's all for now and mainly cosmetic (didn't test calls and 4g yet) and i hope most of the things i've mentioned here are still in the development since this is an Alpha release

I am about to release LOS 16.0 soon as well so consider using the issues_pie repo for that .
For me it eases things so maybe for you too bc it could help having 1 single place to track all the issues

Maybe you should have checked your TWRP version.. Update to at least the latest official TWRP...

Thanks for this man, I had been wait for this a lot, I've installed and works fine but I don't know why when I lock mi phone all my applications it's closed including my music player. Can you help me with that. I use black player as my music player.
I flashed mine but:
touching doens't work
it turn off if unplugged from power source

i'm having issue with bluetooth disconnecting when paired to mi band 2, sometimes bluetooth turns off/on automatically when connected to miband and after that unable to connect to band, kernel adiutor shows that g4 have 4 big cores and 2 small cores, kinda weird, can't reproduce this bug and give logcat because i restored 7.0

Too laggy and it crashes too often
Rom works fine. I have problem with Magisk. After install any app like Viper or Vanced YouTube Player I don't see them on the app list. Magisk root works perfectly. I have no idea what is wrong.
Edit: OK. I downloaded last Uninstaller and latest Magisk, reinstalled and it's OK. Everything works fine.

try Ambient Display Gesture v2 (search it in Magisk module download), when you tap or hand wave the proximity sensor the screen will wake
@aoleary Much thanks for your work releasing this Rom (and to everyone else who had a hand getting the G4 to this point). I wanted to ask you if it was possible to port the SmartPixels feature from your previous AtomicOS rom to Pie; I feel like it's tremendously helpful for the end of the day (either to limit the brightness of using the phone during the night, or while out at night unsure the next time you're going to find a charger)
As for the Rom itself, I'm currently using this on my daily driver and I've come across an Issue that I'll just mention; but can completely live without. I understand without Logs this isn't helpful, but I see this issue has already been reported and closed in the Pie Issue Github Tracker.
Camera Force Closes --> This is a problem with the PlayStore updating the Camera App. Disabling it (removing the updates) and Enabling it again fixes the camera.
Again, thank you for another wonderful Rom, I look forward to your future threads.
