Regards
Marc

I have the same issue on my Nexus 7 2013 and ShieldTablet. I think it is an issue with the Widevine DRM Libs. But I was not able to fix it yet.

I was able to fix this issue on my device.
If someone wants to test it, the details can be found here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/61nam0/netflix_downloads/dfgrjcc/

yes it's work's !!!!
thanks a lot

Someone still has the zip? I couldn't find it.
And I have the same issue

Is device DRM problem

It's an issue with Netflix using Google SafetyNet. I've been looking for a work around also but alot has changed since I used Gingerbread ROMs.

Netflix download for offline viewing not working in *some* ROMs

I have a D855 using Cyanogenmod 14.1 Nightly. I have realized that the new function from Netflix to download videos for offline viewing does not work. Yesterday I decided to see if it worked on Fulmics 6.6 and it does work.
I have then decided to start this thread to confirm these findings and try to narrow down the problem a little bit. If you use Netflix can you see if a download button appear beside a video entries? Note that not all videos can be downloaded, but I am sure that the episodes of "The Crown" or "Strange Things" can. Just go the the list of episodes and see if a download button appears next to the play button. Then, post the result here together with you ROM name and version.
My main objective is to see if the problem happens in all AOSP ROMs, only in Nougat or something else. With this information it is easier to create a bug report.
Same behaviour
Hi, also can't download netflix videos on my lg g3 d855 using cm 14.1 A have also tested the lastest official resurrection remix (with is based on lineageos I think) and videos can not be downloaded.
Interestingly I have a tab 4 tablet (matissewifi) running an unofficial cm 14.1, also with root enabled, and videos can be downloaded, so the rooted factor can be discarded. I am clueless with this because this phone is supposed to be supported by Nexflix, and a friend with the same phone and the stock ROM can download videos.
The d855 mantainer, finnq, is aware of the problem and is going to solve it

Yes, I had the same problem. Going to wait until the updates stabilize or if someone can help understand which Gapps to use.
Thanks
I was experiencing the same issue. Now I've installed an older version and its working fine.
Back to ground zero
It worked fine for a few hours. Now it's unusable again.
Here's some good alternatives that seems to be pretty stable for the LOS14.1/CM14.1 ROM's (though the Delta GApps are good, i would recommend the Dynamic GApps as the first alternative):

Hi gueys,
last week i installed Lineage 14.1 on my galaxy s 5, coming from the samsung firmware. After flashing the device always freezed after short time. In a forum I read, that the problem is at the current opengapps-Version. After flashing an older version of the gapps the problem seemed solved. But today the problem is back, i guess there was an Update for the Google Apps. Now I will test the mentioned alternatives.
I apologize to my English, it is my schoolglish and the school is already 20 years ago.
I tried Dynamic Gapps, it worked for about 20 mins; I was able to install apps and everything but then it started to freeze. The only one that hasn't frozen ever for me was: crDroid 7.1, but the disadvantages were that Mobile Data didn't work nor did the camera! Anyone else found a fix, I want to get a good ROM which is blazing fast!
Full dynamic gapps woked for me. Thanx a lot for this post. I was really starting to pull my hair out here!!
If you guys haven't figured it out yet. A Dalwik wipe will fix this issue!
Hi.
Definitely working nothing. I tried every variation which was posted in this an other topics.
After "Google Play Services" upgrade everything going bad, freeze, restart, etc., can't use the phone.
I tried to use "Gapps" before and after 2017.01.19.
If somebody have any useful solution please share with me.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Finally I found on this webpage the "Official Galaxy S5 Duos Lineage OS 14.1 [klteduos] [7.1.2 Nougat]" lineageosdownloads.com/download-official-galaxy-s5-duos-lineage-os
I downloaded "lineage-14.1-20170503-nightly-klteduos-signed.zip" and with this rom working perfect every new "GAPPS" before and after update too.

That's great news you were able to get your klteduos booted. I've been trying since January to get a newer version that will even boot and have been unsuccessful as you've described.
Many of the images I've managed to download from the source you quote above seem to be completely hopeless in terms of doing virtually anything (such as getting beyond the boot screen).
Currently (early/mid July 2017) only the following images are available:
lineage-14.1-20170705-nightly-klteduos-signed.zip
lineage-14.1-20170621-nightly-klteduos-signed.zip
lineage-14.1-20170614-nightly-klteduos-signed.zip
lineage-14.1-20170607-nightly-klteduos-signed.zip
I've tried every single one of these and they all hang at boot time, requiring removal of the battery (god knows I won't be getting any newer Samsung mobiles as one cannot even "remove" the battery from the later models).
An online search for lineage-14.1-20170503-nightly-klteduos-signed.zip reveals several sites that once had the image, but none currently.
May I kindly entice you to upload the image you successfully booted somewhere online?
I've actually been trying to find an image that functions with both SIMs since December 2016, when the second SIM simply stopped connecting to the network (irrespective of which SIM slot they are in - yes, I did connect successfully when using the second SIM in another phone and I have been carrying around two phones since that time, AARGH!).
Non-stop headaches with these mobile devices nowadays...

n2awifi lineage 14.1 and netflix is not installing
This is a new "feature" from Netflix. They have locked out all phones that have an unlocked bootloader. (Whether you install a custom ROM or stay stock, have root or not, it is a no go.)
Have not tried it myself yet, but some people on the web have reported success sideloading Netflix APK. (And some have it installed but unable to stream .... I suspect you may have to try some of the older apk versions to find one that works.)
This is what Android Police has to say about the whole issue: http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/0...rootedunlocked-devices-app-still-working-now/ <Article also contain link to netflix on apk mirror..>

Netflix on Pixel C

Hi folks.
Im using OFFICIAL LinAge OS 15.1 without GApps (jepp i have no intention to use Google Account nor Apps ) and im using Netflix for quit some time.
Last i checked Netflix wants an update. After that update i cant use this app anymore ("This device is not supported").
Any suggestions how to fix this ?
Is it bc of Google (safetyNet), i dont have or the unlocked bootloader itself ?
I tried different versions , even fiddle with magisk hide.....no success.
THx in Advance
Hi,
Sorry, i don't understand, i have similar problem on Rom Resurection Remix...
I think go test Rom Pixel :/
Hi, i'm run on Pixel Experience and Resurection Remix (Pie)
and Netflix works fine, but download >>> https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netflix-inc/netflix/
This apk work fine with Rom custom and root ! (Sound + picture it's ok for me)

Camera not working on lg g5 h850 lineage os 17.1

I have installed successfully lineage os 17.1 on my device but I'm experiencing some problems. One of them is the camera not working: as soon as I open the included camera app, I can see only a black screen. I tried installing third party camera apps like gcam but I get the same black screen. I can't use the camera even on apps such as telegram. Another annoying issue I've came across is that the rotation sensor doesn't work: when I flip the phone horizontally, the content doesn't flip (I have set automatic rotation in the toggle menu). Last but not least, I can't use the Youtube app. First I installed the app from the play store and it opens but I can see just a blue spinning circle without any video. Then I installed the app from an older apk but the problem persists. These are the only problems I'm currently having (over than NFC not being recognized) but except these, I'm having e great experience with this rom.
I also had the issue with my LG G5 (RS988).
Been meaning to submit an bug report but never got around to installing logcat.
Firstt boot, but seems already rotated, but camera expcetions are there too.

That I tried before, same issue.. Then I found this unofficial, which is newer. But still not work...
That unofficial thread contains 45 pages, hard to read whole of them. But on some 12th page I found step to install first 15 then 16 then 17.1 but do not know if that was only for "unofficial" version or if I should do that also for official one.
For now I return stock firmware as long I need working phone and do not have time at work to play with phone Maybe during weekend I will get sort of time to try those steps like 15 --> 16 --> 17

Hello
i'm using official lineage os 17.1 on my G5
lineage stock camera is working but quality is poorer than LG stock ROM and wide angle is not available
GCam is always crashing when launching, plus auto-rotate and NFC are not working
latest lineage version is almost 1 month old, do you know if it's still maintained ?
Thx
I would recommend you all read the post (No.136) from the link below, especially if you're having camera, NFC, or other issues and have skipped flashing 15.1 and 16.0 after coming from stock.

The build servers have been down for three weeks. There is currently no ETA on when they will be restored, it's also possible the delay is related to the Coronavirus lockdown. The recent hacking of LOS servers appears unrelated to the build server outtages. It's just a personal opinion but I would strongly recommend against flashing unofficial over official. This could create unintended bugs, and may result in you having to clean flash 17.1 official at a later date - it's better to wait till the build servers are restored. There is a link at the bottom of post 136 for their current status. As these issues have been documented as far back as LOS 15.1, logcats are unnecessary in this instance.

thanks @pedro1977
i first unlocked my h850 and then installed official LOS 17.1 (without flashing to_x86cpu.zip, 15.1 or 16 before)
so if i understand your post 136, i must follow this steps :
- full backup with latest twrp
- flash to_x86cpu.zip
- clean flash 15.1 (unofficial ? i did not found any 15.1 official version to download...)
- dirty flash 16.0 unofficial
- clean flash 17.1 official
right ?
if everything is working after all this steps, will i be able to restore my 17.1 backup ?

Answers next to your questions.
Depends on what you want to restore, most will restore from your Google backup if you have enabled it. In addition to twrp, you could use an app called migrate, should you want to restore something specific.

I recommend you link a Google account, you could do so with your current rom, and manually backup your settings and then restore after flashing your new one.
Another and more risky option, would be once you flash 17.1 official, before rebooting, you could try and restore your data partition from your twrp backup, ensure you flash the same dated nightly official as when you created your backup - if you can't remember, you can see this in settings.
If this doesn't work, you could restore some items from your migrate backup (excluding settings like WiFi - use a WiFi settings app and write them down). This is good for restoring apks but with data I found it didn't always restore everything and may cause some bugs, same could apply to permissions settings.

Here's the solution
I had the same issue but i know the solution
First you need to install lineage os 15.1.
After that check that everything is working. If everything is fine then dirty flash lineage os 16 ( flash lineage os 16 by itself without wiping). Then if everything is still working dirty flash lineage os 17.1 but now if you are upgrading from unofficial to official wipe first and then install lineage os. If you are upgrading from unofficial to unofficial then dirty flash the rom normally
Now you should have working sensors and cameras, but keep in mind that the IR blaster is still not working and the video quality will not be as good as with the stock app if you really need 1080p 60 fps video
