Oh, ok. Thank you, I thought the phone had a bug.

Mine supports 4g on both simcards., Of course not simultaneously, but it does.

Are you sure it's the l36 Variant? and, what ROM are you using? because I'm using LineageOS Unofficial and I don't have LTE in the second sim slot. Or is it stock?

This is incorrect. Verizon uses CDMA and ATT uses GSM. The phones are not compatible.

^ this
but you can actually change from GSM to CDMA from your *#197328640# (stock 4.1.1) but not sure if that'd work
but for the most cases, reason to unlock AT&T S3 is to use it for T-Mobile ;p

The Verizon "sim" card is only to get Verizon's LTE network. Its useless on ATT/TMobile

^ this. Flashing any Verizon modems, ROMs, ect can lead to a paperweight. The phone has different hardware that allows it to operate on a GSM network and will not allow it to run on a CDMA network. You would have to get a Verizon phone to work on Verizon or go to a different network. T-Mobile for instance accepts att sim cards (with reduced functionality due to different frequencies, but at least you can still use the phone)

[Q] i9082l what's the difference??

guys,
Whats is the differente between i9082 and i9082l?
I can flash android 4.2.2 in i9092l?
Thanks!
One is dual sim one is single sim. That's all I think. For custom roms based on stock Rom, I don't think they will work on i9082l due to different framework as the i9082 has dual sim function. Better ask the Dev before flashing any of the roms.

To be more technical:
Galaxy Grand 9082
3G Bands: HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100
Galaxy Grand 9082L
3G Bands: HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
3G Bands are only available on the SIM Slot 1.
SIM Slot 2 on both devices run EDGE Only.

Wrong, SIM 2 can also can use 3G, just cannot use 3G for both SIM cards at the same time.

I guess then you are lucky, for I have 2 Data SIM cards, same operator, and when I switch to SIM 2 for data, only runs on EDGE. Then I searched the Technical Specifications of the device, and its reads exactly as what I posted. Hence, I copy pasted it from GSM Arena.
Perhaps some will, but atleast Mine.....doesnt.

PS- Here is another link that also states it:

Wrong again. You can't use 3G in SIM2 simply because SIM1 is the dominant SIM in 3G. To change that, just go to System Settings > More Settings > Mobile Network and in SIM1 tab check "Use only 2G Networks" box. A popup will show up "Current SIM card will be changed to 2G. Change other SIM card to 3G?" Choose OK and that's it.
i agree with henrispc013,
i can also use 3g/WCDMA with both sims, but not at the same time

Can I use this phone in London?

I'm gong to London for work. Is there a way I can use this phone?
It is a global phone. Just need to get a SIM card from over there to pop in. Sure there are others that can go more in depth but in a nutshell the answer is yes
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
Yes. Just used it there for 3 weeks. Drop into a Carphone Warehouse and get a 3 SIM card. Unlimited data, calls and text (within the UK, of course) for £15.
Are all newer Verizon phones [LTE] global?
I don't think all are global phones.

I'm fairly sure that all 4g phones are global and unlocked as well. I used my phone in the Philippines with a new sim, and with an old Droid RAZR, no issues on either. Not sure about the iPhone but it doesn't really matter anyway ;p

Like the iPhone, there's a slot on the side. A tool comes with the phone in the box. Or a paperclip should work too.

Are you saying that if I go to a country that has a GSM-only system and toss in a GSM Sim, I can use this phone and Verizon gets no cut and is otherwise not part of the transaction? IE acting fully unlocked?!!

Sorry to be dense, but HERE is the HTC One link at GSM Arena. How do I know which bands are supported by the Verizon Model. It seems to only single out a "Sprint" band. Thanks for the help.

The Verizon Wireless HTC One is a true world phone, with quad-band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), dual-band EV-DO Rev. A (850/1900 MHz), dual-band UMTS (1900/2100 MHz), and LTE support; it runs at 4G speeds here in the U.S. and 3G speeds overseas in most countries.

HTC One with SIM on straight talk?
Are you saying that if you take this phone, and plug in a straight talk SIM card, it should work? Granted it may not run any faster than 3G, but it'll work?

Does the unlocked version T-705 work with a AT&T sim card?

I am planning to buy an unlocked version of tab s 8.4. Now I am just wondering if it will work with AT&T and support its 4G network... Thanks in advance!

Just check the bands it supports.
If it supports the att band then it will work.

What firmware version do you have? Mines c185 no volte. It drops from 4g LTE to 4g when placing a call.
Edit. Just thrown a curve ball. Made another phone call in the same house and the 4g LTE remained. Weird?
