Yes, this is a code known on most android devices. I also used it from the beginning on Pro 3 because it is very useful

Thanks for the answer but i already unchecked the option in "TouchFLO" settings and vibration are gone everywhere except the phone application, and that's what i'm looking for.
I remember enabling this on my Atom Life with Diamond Tweak. Maybe it works the other way round as well.
I found it with quick search for "vibration" using total commander.
Its under hklm\software\htc\phone\phoneextendsetting\keypadvibration Change the value to zero to turn off.

Thank you for this find. Have you found out how to disable the vibration on the keyboard in general?
IE: Tapping the Touchflo 3d
IE: Typing when creating a message

Didnt have that problem. Go to setting -> touchflo to make sure the vibrate option is disabled. Also go to input->touch input->options & disable the vibrate option from there.

[Q] Dialing Numbers from Call Log - extra step?

All - if this has already been addressed in these forums, I apologize.
I'd like to know if there is a way to change the settings in the phone such that when I am in the call log screen, and I tap a number or a contact, the phone will dial that number immediately, rather going to the next screen, which provides the option to either dial or text.
I've searched the settings whilest in the call log screen and nothing is jumping out at me
All help is appreciated

Alter background for Asus call screen

Hey guys, when you make a call with the Zenfone 2, the Asus "call screen" comes up. I seem to get a random slew of blurred ugly backgrounds. Is there any way to edit this, or choose which background it uses? There are quite a few ugly ones (in my opinion), and while it may not be that big of a deal, it's just something I'm curious about.
Thanks
Here's a way to change:
- Go to Phone
- Tap the Menu button on the left side above the dialer
- Tap Settings
- Tap Call screen settings
- Tap Call background settings
- Tap Set Background image

I thought I was going crazy...Couldn't find that setting...I did find that you can turn the screen black as opposed to the "blurred" wallpaper...White would have matched lollipop better...
I have stock and can alter it just fine as Asus_Khang mentions above

No you cannot, not with the ZE551

Activity Launcher

tap icon>activity>all>settings>knockon- change screen tap option
tap icon>activity>all>settings>settings utilities>change properties>TMO, confirm- brings up oem unlock/lock option in dev options
Ran into this little app, and because of others posts, I know you can do the 2 above things with it. Free at google play.
My question is do others know any other goodies that would be beneficial? Things VZW has disabled or hidden, LG things I might like to use.........
LG G4 VS986/13B, non-rooted
You can use activity launcher to run the call reject settings and block calls which Verizon stupidly disabled.

I agree, on top of hiding the knock-on disable menu.

How To Guide Red Magic 6S Pro Secret "Diablo Mode"

Just like most secret settings and modes, you'll need an app like Activity Launcher to activate it.
After our followed your guidance, finally i discovered a 'ludicrous mode' on my 6pro instead of halo mode on 6s Pro..it makes my cpu & gpu working together for a better gaming experience and not causing any frame drop in Asphalt9. Very good advice

Mine won't load it? The activity launcher looks more basic on my device and has locks on most of it?
