A5,A7 (2017) Multi-touch - Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 (2017) Questions & Answe

Helo everyone
i want more info regarding multi-touch in A5 and A7 (2017), tried looking on internet and didnt really find the answer yet
i tested A3 and it only have 5points multi-touch, i want to know whether A5 & A7 also get same 5points multi-touch or 10points multi-touch
iirc A5 (2016) have 10 point multi-touch, i know 10 point multi-touch is more likely useless anyway
but well its good to have more than needed
hope someone can share some info regarding this
thanks in advance

The max for my a5 2017 is just 5 fingers. Would've been better if it's more than that.

5 fingertouch according to me is more than enough.
I mean who would want to put all of their fingers in operating a phone? And how is the person going to hold the phone then.

well indeed most of the time and for most people 5 multi-touch is more than enough
i am not complaining about it either
but again most samsung mid to high model been always using 10 multi-touch
cmiiw A5 2016 also got 10 multi-touch
well its quite likely such this is where samsung save cost for the premium look that A 2017 series got

For me A720F support 10 fingers

How do we test the multi touch? I have the A7 2017. I'll try it for you.

there lots multitouch-tester apps
such like this : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.the511plus.MultiTouchTester&hl=en
it simply put your finger on display, if it capable 10, then it showing 10point
if only 5, then when u put 6th finger on display, it wont register/show up or other finger jumped to 6th finger ( only showing 5point)

It's a big difference.
The A5 2016 is a nice phone. I bought one for my mother. It's half decent spec, so I suppose it's gonna come down to cost and your needs.
Ii broke my s7 edge and brought a a3 2016 i preferred tge design. Its noticeable that its slower and lacks ram.. But a good rom amd kernel and its a brilliant phone.. I prefer it to the s7e.

Phone got stuck at mi logo

I was on a custom rom (pixel experience) and my phone was rooted and when I tried to undo the root and restart the device it got stuck in the mi logo. What should I do

D-Load a version of the Stock ROM ( 9.5.17.0 if you can... ) transfer it from you computer and flash it..
reboot phone to twrp mode and make a backup of your data if u want data not to be lost.
flash your custom rom,and again go to twrp mode and restore your data excluding(system) and reboot the device.
try it,it worked for me without loss of data.

Hey S.S...
Not 30 Minutes Ago I pulled the trigger on the Samsung Galaxy A70.
It's only about 6mm taller than the XRN5.. but, packs a 6.7 inch SuperAmoled Display that is simply Incredible.
Samsung's OneUI coupled with a Samsung app called Good Lock.. gives you almost endless tweaks without root access.
The Snapdragon 675 / Adreno 512 SoC along with Samsung Pay having NFC and MST capabilities and 6 GB of Ram / 128 GB of Storage sealed the deal..
Honorable Mention To:
The Redmi K20 Pro
The Asus Zen 6
The OnePlus 7
A little more expensive.. faster.. but not as feature rich as the Galaxy A70..
I'll Stay In Touch.. You've Done A Fantastic Job Helping So Many With The XRN5... Keep It Up Boss! :good:

I just seen that Dark Mode has been implemented..
That's cool.. I've always used Xiaomi's Theme Store.. And I LOVE Dark Themes.. but it's nice for those that like to go from light to dark depending on the time of day.
And Yes.. I've so missed Amoled Displays.. I had a Note 4.. and would STILL be using it if I did not Cheap Out and buy a dang $1.00 car charger & cable..
It burned my Note 4 out! That's been almost 3 years ago... So, I can't wait to fire that puppy up for the 1st time and see 6.7 inches of pure black heaven.. :highfive:

Hi There X..
I think.. if you ask 10 different people.. you'd get 10 different answers..
In my case, Having the Note 5 Pro "Rooted-Stock" has been pretty much perfect. 100% Stable & Fast with Nova Prime and Animations at 0.5.. Viper sounds great.. Quickboot works like a charm.. And Greenify rounds out the reasons that I rooted the stock O.S.
So Why Move On From What Seems Like A Perfect Fit?
1st) Samsung SuperAmoled Displays.. ( My New Device Has A 6.7 inch Screen )
2nd) Samsung Pay (NFC / MST Technology Works ANYWHERE a Debit / Credit Card is accepted ) Google Pay.. Not.
3rd) Samsung OneUI ( In conjunction with an app called Good Lock ) provides Endless System Tweaks without root.
4th) Samsung 's AR Emoji's!!! ( Super Fun To Play With! )
5th) Samsung's Bezel- Less Design..( I'm cool with the Infinity U-Notch.. and you can hide it )
6th) I recently purchase a new Camry.. with Scoutlink Technology.. Toyota doesn't acknowledge Xiaomi devices at all... The Salesperson and I Brought a OnePlus 7 Pro out of a T-Mobile store to see if the Camry software would acknowledge the connection.. No Problem it linked to the OnePlus 7 Pro instantly.. as did a $100.00 Samsung J3 Prime device... Toyota Simply Does Not Acknowledge Xiaomi..
Well.. I think that pretty much sums up my thought process..
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro wins a lot of battle's..
But The Samsung A70 Knows How To Win The War.

Okay that makes Sense. I'm totally different
1. The 6 Inch Screen is totally okay for me and I prefer IPS LCD More. (Sounds maybe weird, but yeah xD)
2. Never used any of the paying technologies, never used NFC on any phone at all and I not really feel like I need it, I still prefer paying with real money that I can hold in my hand, oldschool, but that's how I am xD
3. I'm really in love with MIUI meanwhile and since the S4 I never used Samsung ever again. But yeah the settings I can manage on MIUI are more than enough for me. (I use my phone unrooted since I not like Magisk and I never unlocked it, all offical still and pure Stock since over 7 months, now on offical MIUI Pie
4. Not really Something I personally need ?
5. Even if you can hide it, I hate all types of Notches and avoid every phone that has it and it doesn't matter for me if it's bezel-less or not, so long the phone fits my needs.
7. Cannot say anything to that, since I don't own a car, I don't even have a Driver license with 29 xD Cause here in Berlin/Germany I not really need it since I get everywhere in Berlin just by bus and train really cheap per month.
So as you see, my Points are totally different and as you maybe see I will take good care of my Redmi Note 5 so long as possible. ? And you take good care of your new phone.

Good choice and Samsung galaxy A32 is a really good smartphone with all its specs. I think the camera section and the Helio G80 chipset are the best.
seems like the galaxy a32 has good performance because of the 8GB RAM and the helio G80 processor it carries

Wow. People seem to be really satisfied with the device and this is a proof that the Mediatek gaming chipset is working really well in the smartphone.
As a photographer, I am always on the lookout for smartphones with really good cameras but which aren’t too pricey. The Galaxy A32 comes with the Helio G80 processor meets those requirements.

Hello guys, I need to change my phone and I was thinking in this model. Here in Argentina they only sell the 4G model with 4 Gb RAM. It seems the camera is pretty good although the camera app unfortunately lacks several features that other phones bring for more control. But I've been watching some videos on YouTube and most of them say that the sound is pretty bad and low. I know it's mono, but a youtuber compared it live to a Moto G30 and the difference was truly overwhelming. Has anyone here heard it first hand? Could you share more information in that regard? Thank you very much in advance!

Question Would OnePlus 9 ROMs work on the 10 pro?

Hardware is very similar, both using the same processor / GPU so may work??
Not sure on the cameras but would be more of a sideways port rather than a fresh ROM.
Hope to see a unified development at some point, not sure how that's going to work with the messy forum structure but I guess we'll see.
No way this will work
They don't using the same processor / GPU

9 Pro Qualcomm SM8350 / Adreno 660

Well I have the 8 pro running Evo X, it's brilliant, looks like the last decent OnePlus.. what the hell happened?
How can they not have a macro lens? Makes no sense.
Looking for the silver lining on this phone and having a hard time.
If the DEV’s from custom ROM's don’t support the ONEPLUS devices then this company will DiE in no time FACT
Well I still have my 8 pro, plus can still send the 10 pro back.
Quite annoyed by it, but I did manage to get some of the new buds for free with it. So not a total loss
Hopefully „Nothing Phone“ will came out a device like the initial ONEPLUS on her START

I see some speed test : S22 Ultra vs. 10 pro. Oneplus was faster at almost all of the tests.
10 pro vs. icreap 13. Half/half.
