You can recommend BaNKs gapps in OP as it doesn't have any setup wizard problem with any ROM.

Hi,
I couldn't find camera icon so i tried googlecamera.apk but it didn't work. After installing BANKS gapps i'm getting "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped." error. so i deleted setupwizard from system and then booted and error solved but no camera,SDcard and can't sync google contact.
Is there anyone working on GEEB E970.

This isn't for E970 so there's no point on posting those errors.
The best you can do is ask dev for support, not spamming errors of incompatibility.
I believe you guys need a kernel for your version to make things work.

About the update all we need is to wipe system, cache and dalvik as on previous versions, right?

Nice work on the update.
Now i have no problem using the smartmax governor when it goes idle.
On first version it would freeze on a black screen when unlocking it.
Using trickster mod I can't change governor settings.
Is that blocked?

No. It's not blocked. We use script /system/bin/init.qcom.post_boot.sh
You can use it instead init.d or other kernel utilities

Hi jsbeyond,
As a great fan of DU, I of coursde also like Zephyr which looks really similar to DU... Can't tell who inspired the other, but that is irrelevant
So Zephyr is simply a great ROM. Loaded with features I really like.
But there is one missing (unless this has been added meanwhile) and that is OmniSwitch.
And for me OmniSwitch is really mandatory...
Have no idea what it takes to cherr-pick into a custom ROM, but if that doesn't take too long, it would be nice !
But being in touch with membres of the Zephyr team... I've heard that the devs are already working on N . So probably won't bake in new features into Zephyr MM

BY THE WAY : I've tried to compile several ROM's with the Elan sources... only got into errors. Does it take a lot of changes to fix it ? Or am I missing a point ?

i tested this rom before the release to the public and informed OP about this bug (continuous FC on android.phone process) and other bugs like camcorder broken.. dunno why he released it anyway...

Man please solve the problem of com.android.phone constant fc. This seems a very good rom.

What did happen to nougat?

Alright! With the hardwork of Mi5 Devs in bringing up cm14.1 , hopefully soon enough there should be nougat build on ZephyrOS aswell, No ETA because stability is more prior to us

Man, I did not get any reports about these problems you are reporting, I ask you to check your installation process, something is wrong there.

i have installed cleanly.. nothing wrong 2 times i have installedafter wiping bt then also i am seeing bugs.. before installing this rom i am using ressurrection remix rom..

Flash stock rom and then flash this. That may fix ur problem.

after flashing stock rom i have again installed but same bugs.

I haven't had any issues with this Time, at all. My camera works, camcorder fine. Everything working on my end.
Love the fresh look and design, very original.
Keep up the great work.

It is amazing that there isn't more talk about this great time. Come on people come see the difference this can make.

Facing Bootloop
I was running jerome-x lotus rom ( 6.0.1 ) After that i restored my stock Nougat backup, wiped everything and then i flashed the hexagon rom without gapps! Am i doing anything wrong?

You should have flashed stock N via fastboot to get the modem and other files..

Will try it out as soon as i get to school ?

Hi manage to flash with flashing gapps after first boot and flashing LOS add-on remove SU after flashing ROM.
Moreover, i flashed also supersu 2.79 after ROM and after add-on remove su.
But do not have LTE on sim1. Call is OK, but no LTE..
Otherwise, default theme is Nice and features are similar to aicp.

I tried the same method again with what you said and it still didnt work but I tried installing the ROM first, boot it up then I installed delta gapps and it works perfectly now. :good:

I love all the small but lovely tweaks one can do, but have been unable to:
1. to change the colour of the status bar battery indicator and percentage.
2. add a scrolling message to the lockscreen.

First u need a unlocked bootloader and twrp recovery.
Then download the ROM and gapps prefer opengapps arm64 nano ( I use micro ) .
Then flash twrp. Boot it by pressing power + volume - when phone off. Then in twrp go to wipe. Select wipe system data cache and slide to confirm. Then go back. Click on install . select the ROM then again install more zip select gapps then swipe to confirm. Wait to finish then click reboot system.
