AT&T Production Stock Firmware (I987UCJK1)

Here is an ODIN package for the stock firmware from the AT&T Galaxy Tab at release time. (I987UCJK1, not an engineering or preproduction ROM) It was tested by rotohammer on a T-Mobile Galaxy Tab. (Thanks for testing it for me)
It was created using the same method that the stock T-Mobile flash was created, so there is not a bootloader in this package.
Flash using ODIN by putting it into the PDA field, no pit or other packages required.
I987UCJK1
Thanks to rotohammer and all of the others participating in thread about creating a usable dump.
Thanks for posting this. Saw what you and rotohammer were doing with great interest.
I'm going to make an attempt on the Sprint Tab when I get back from Germany next week.

You know, I'm not quite sure, rotohammer actually tested out my AT&T firmware on his T-Mobile device. I'll have to find out.
Edit: Try doing as instructed here:

Yes, just for you!
After 2 weeks of work, I have recreated an Odin package of the stock T-Mobile firmware.
Flash it in Odin from the PDA button, no .pit file, nothing else.
It contains no bootloader because I don't want anyone to brick their device with a bad flashing.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped me, but especially jtc442 and Deodexed.

I created a "Roto Backup" of my stock Galaxy Tab; if someone can tell me how to create a flashable package from my backup I'd be game to try.

[Q] GS4 Tmobile Stock firmware file

Hi as always I come for the expert advice to you guys. I have recently UPDATED my Galaxy S4 for Tmobile to CyanogenMod. Frankly I love the speed but it is still in beta version and has a few things I did not like. Few glitches. Anyway:
I want to go back to my stock firmware which was Kit Kat 4.2.2.before I installed Cyanogenmod.
I already downloaded Odin V3 09 and am ready to do this but I still do not have the stock firmware file. I looked for it but I really don't want to screw it up.
Can someone be so kind and insert the link to the download ? And if of course possible STEP BY STEP instructions on HOW TO GO BACK ?
I understand my phone now is rooted and will stay rooted after reinstalling Kit Kat. So I still should be able to get rid of all the bloatware correct ?
Any help greatly appreciated and huge THANKS IN ADVANCE !!!
Download firmware here http://www.cheatersedge.org/android/m919/M919UVUFNB4_M919TMBFNB4_TMB_FENNY_FIXED.zip, there is a thread already on instructions on how to flash.. and just because you rooted doesn't mean your device will stay rooted forever. Once you flash the firmware you will be unrooted but you can root again.. Alternatively you can just flash a debloated stock rom in recovery

Finding the stock firmware won't be easy unless you try downloading from sammoble, but you could try Fenny's stock rooted 4.4.2 rom in development.
It's very smooth without the bloatware and it has unlimited tethering.
It works best with Philz recovery.
Just follow the directions and your good to go.
Don't forget to do a factory reset.
Pp.
Sent from my Touchwiz device that never forgets apps.
PIN lock screen does NOT work on Fenny's rom when you first boot/restart/power up the phone. So, if you are turning your phone on the lock screen will just be skipped over.
Pin lock issue could be NG if you need that type of security.

Thank you so much Serio22, I just want to make sure it is the correct one for my Tmobile GS4.
And also would you be so kind and attach the STEP BY STEP instructions for Odin ? I am really afraid of bricking my phone. I need guidance.
People say once you do it few times it becomes easy as pie. But like I wrote above I don't want to mess up my phone.

One last question and I won't bother again:
When it comes to those files " OFFICIAL TAR AND ORIGINAL TAR " do I just choose any one of them ?? I wanted to know the difference between them both. Instructions don't really specify which to choose. Or is it both ?
And also there is a suggestion to " Wipe the data in recovery " after the whole thing how do I do that ? Should I do that ?
Thank you again for your help.

You don't have to worry about that, just use the tar file I posted earlier
Edit: and for the wipe data, you reboot to recovery after you flashed the firmware and do a factory reset.. Yes you should, but not necessary if you don't have any issues..

[Q] VM S3 can't get newest update

First of all, I really appreciate the help and expertise this forum provides!
So back in June I rooted my phone with directions here on xda. I am an extreme noobie (in my 40's) and had no business going down this road lol! I used the Phil Z method and everything actually went pretty smooth. The problem came when I tried to unroot the phone to get the latest software update. I eventually had to take my phone to a schiesty cell phone repair store. just to get the phone working again.
The problem is that I still can't get the latest update. The update fails because there is "not enough space available to download system update." The picture I attached shows the screen in download mode. It seems that not all of the original root was removed.(?)
Does someone here have an idea what I can do?

It would have to be an Odin flashable file as no custom recovery for att, and the locked bootloader would reject the tar file.

I am currently searching for the instructions I found 2 months ago on WHAT THINGS to do a twrp backup on, then install the full TAR, root it, install recovery and then do a restore so you retain all of your apps and data. If you happen to know those specific instructions can you include them in the post that you've linked to from here? that would be great, because I cannot remember what I need to do backups on to retain all of my wife's data... and if I lose it all, I'm a dead man.
