So, since the day that i got my xperia play i've been noticing a really annoying input delay. I'm a fighter player, and like to speed run sometimes, so delays are realy easy to notice for me.
I've already tried all kinds of roms and stuff and the delay is always there. Someone here have the same problem? Someone know a fix for this?
I was thinking about running my phone on a 480p kernel, but I'm not sure if the input delay is caused by the screen and its resolution.
Helo have you tried this ROM, it runs very smooth and fast to me, my max benchmark score is 7652 which is very good for xperia play

I know there are several threads on note 10.1 famous lag (2014 edition). But my problem is quite strange and I don't find the answer.
In fact, it was laggy as expected. So I rooted it in order to freeze/uninstall knox and others, and most of all to run seeder.
Then it worked very well and lag was gone, and my apps were starting immediately, etc.
But, for some reason, now when I click an app, it takes one second or more to launch (
Why?
I thought it was because I started copying bigger files on an SD card (32gb), (it wasn't lagging at the beginning. But, even when I tried to remove it to see if it improved the situation, lag was still there.
I precise that the lag is only at app launch, and that the other kind of lags, stutters, etc are gone.
I tried lagfix, etc, but no success so far.
Any solution?

now about the issue, i've been using my zenfone 2 2gb variant for like a year. i've played alot of high end games like nova 3, implosion, gta sa etc and they run without any lag (frame skips happen, but doesn't count). but lately, when i started to play modern combat 5 online, it started to lag a lot. at first it runs smooth like butter, then it will start to lag. no heating issue, 400mb ram unused, yet it lags with fps around 15-20. i'd appreciate if someone would solve my problem. please don't say internet is the problem coz, i have fine net connection.
Try rebooting your phone. If the problem still happens, factory reset your phone. Why? Because it's Android . And you'd better upgrade to lastest 6.0 firmware. Performance improved alot . 53k Antutu for me (only 47k on 5.0)

Since i've updated my Lenovo P2 to android Nougat (7.0), i got this weird Snapchat video bug. Every time i open snapchat, the first video won't open correctly, it lags and i have a black screen for 5 seconds and then the video automatically closes. Does any one know the Solution?

I have the same problem. Seems to be the FIRST time you start a video in any app, when the app isn't already loaded in memory. Very annoying.

Even I'm facing the same problem with snapchat ,instagram, and google photos too. Have you guys find any solution? I think we have to wait for the update from lenovo. This bug is way too annoying. I hope lenovo fixes this soon.??

Had this then reinstalled stock rom and it was corrected

I have the same phone and the same problem and this is 21st November 2017, it's with Snap and Insta on my phone, this is not a fix or a solution but a trick for those who miss out on videos, when you receive a snap video and it gets stuck, just swipe down on it and it closes, then wait cuz your phone freezes for a few seconds and when it works open it again and it'll play from beginning and you will have option to replay it, same is with stories on both apps. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Even resetting my Phone and reinstalling the rom did not worked for me... Facing the bug since Android 7 Update, Lenovo ist aware of this issue and i provided videos of the Problem to them.. no reaction of Lenovo staff
You can try wiping the data and cache of the app then deleting it and installing the app again. Some files may mess of because of the change of android version.

Lol, really :laugh: It's kinda sad that they haven't fixed this bug on stock yet and they will not. It's very annoying. At first It wasn't a big deal for me but after a year i'm kinda pissed off. That's why I'm unlocking my phone.

Facing the same issues after the recent update like if using the back gesture it sometimes lag on that screen also chrome has freezing issues while gaming also sometimes force stop after being having 8GB of RAM.
