Qi receiver supporting 15W? - General Accessories

Hi!
The Qi 1.2.2 version supports wireless charging up to 15W, and I can find several chargers that implement that standard. Nevertheless, I'm completely unable to find a receiver that supports it. I'm talking about sticker receivers, the one you place between your phone and case and plug into the usb port. All I can find are 5V, 1A (5W) ones.
The 1.2.2 version of the standard was released quite a while ago, so I'm really thinking I'm missing something here. Can anyone bring some light on this?
Thanks!

Qi Wireless charging

Im not sure if there's been a new development on this or not but I didnt get find anything.
These Qi Receivers like:

The qi wireless charging mod seems a little too complicated. Now that we have these receivers has anyone tried fitting one to the S2?
I know they arent made for it and there are special connect points in teh S3 S4 and the such but cant an end be splayed open and put in between the 1st and 4th connectors where the battery makes contact with the phone? It would be a little difficult to force fit it but it would be snug and not likely to move and fits over the battery well. Has anyone tried any of this?

Wireless charging

Anyone using wireless charging on the MI3? It's only possible with a receiver, btw, it's not built in.

I am curious has anyone tried using a wireless charging add on and know if it works properly?
I'm a writer for Qiwireless.com and I use my Mi3 with a universal wireless charging receiver to charge it.
I saw something here: facebook.com/MiuiCzechSlovakXiaomi/posts/10152284167068959
Manufacturer named Lencow doing this type of chargers for MI's. You can find the net for the price.
is it for real that mi3 supports wireless charging??

Note, WITH a receiver. A receiver is a piece of hardware which sits under the base of the phone, and is connected to the charging circuit. Just google the term.
You'd have to be really motivated to take your phone apart, just to attach that. Without considering the space that module would need vs the available space inside the phone, which is pretty slim to start with. Actually with a metal phone back, I believe the module would have to sit outside of the phone, between the plastic cover and the back - so the phone back would not be flat.
I have had a Nexus 4 with wireless charging for the last 2 years, and I rarely use the wireless charger I bought:
- charges slower than a wall charger
- if you pick the phone up - as we all do - you stop charging and additionally multiply the number of charging cycles.
Cables are not as cool as a Qi pad, but a Qi pad also needs its cable...
Anyway, out of the box, the mi3 doesn't do wireless charging - just confirmed that with my wireless charger
stupid!!! pls improve yourself bout the 'Electronic Science and Technology' knowledge~ don't ask such an idiot question!!!

Wireless charging

Hey guys,
Since the OPO has NFC I'm assuming wireless charging will work... What are some good and cheap wireless charging options?
Thanks!
NFC and wireless charging are two completely different things. You could add wireless charging via a universal QI receiver but that's it

Ohh didnt realize that! So would I just need a QI receiver and I can put my phone on it? Or do I need a special case for my phone?
You need a wireless charger receiver, you will lose the USB port, when you want to use USB you will have to take the case off and take the charger plug out.
Since it's pretty thin you can use any case, or none (Maybe not metal cases).
You also need a wireless sender, this is the pad that the phone sits on.
Notes: Since these are only 500ma (have not found a pad > 500) and with less efficiency (so its actually less than 500ma), it will take a very long time to charge the phone. I dont even know if its able to keep up with the power requirements of the phone if it's in use.
Powerbot chargers are supposed to put out 1000mah. I think its partially dependent on the actual charging cord plugged into the qi charger though

that is true. all parts need to be compatible to get a decent charge rate. i had a charger that put out 2amps and a cord that supported it too but most receivers put out 500-750mah which results in a slow charge. and i havent found a decent receiver yet either. Most of them are really finicky and need to have the phone placed just right on the receiver for it to charge.

Huawei G8 (GX8) charing with qi system

Hello experts!
Some weeks ago I byed a Huawei phone G8. With my old Nexus 4, there was a feature that I´m missing. Charging with Qi. At the G8 there is no provision of home because the device has a metal cover and thereby provide the factory can not.
So I tested a universal variant in which the receiver is connect about the Mico USB from the phone. The receiver has a power output of 1000mA and is It is this model: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00C5X1JGE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00
The install was easy, space between Sender and receiver less then 4mm. I have test 2 Models of charger, a Zens like this http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00C5X1JGE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00
And this model:
http://www.ebay.at/itm/121797953332?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
With both models, I have the same problem. The charging of the mobile phone works so flawlessly to 95%. Above this threshold, there are only charging interruptions, sometimes stops the charge. I have use different power supply units tried with 5V 1A to 5V 2A no change, always the same problem.
Charging up to 100% is possible with the charger cable without Qi. Does anyone have experience with Qi charging in conjunction with Huawei mobile phones? Can anyone give a hint what I could do to?
I've even ordered a Qi Circuit Board with 3 coils from China. Should obviously have more output line. The model I have not yet, however, is on the way. Gladly I will tell my experience with this model.
Many thanks for your help!

Which Wireless Charger?

Hi, my friend has a wireless charging capable phone. I was wondering which wireless chargers are good. I have just stumbled upon this kickstarter campain: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/649000063/xvida-smartphone-mounting-system-with-qi-wireless and it looks perfect for him (he wants to use it in a car and at home).
Does anybody have any experience with this company or can point me to similar products? Thanks!
I use the Samsung wireless charging pad which works perfectly well for my Note 5. It's specifications include charging at 2A rather than the 1 A at which most of the other wireless chargers work. Another good one, albeit more expensive, is the PowerSquare Tango which is capable of charging upto two smartphones at once.
