Anyone see the list of official Samsung accessories on their page? - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Accessories

http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-s8/accessories/
there's a keyboard cover, which is described on their site thusly (yes, I wanted to use the word thusly):
Keyboard Cover
For the times you want a tactile keyboard. No charging required, just snap it onto the front and start typing away.
It's available for the 8 and 8+
pretty cool.

It's been around for a while. I know it was available for the s7 Edge, not sure about the 6.

I like the alcantara case. Ill def. order it when available

I'd so get the keyboard cover. Just looks cool.

Looks so cool, is it also useful?

^^ This.
I'd wait for reviews on this keyboard before buying it. Alternatively, a mini-Bluetooth keyboard may be the better choice (especially if you plan to use DeX).

Unknown Case

So I found these pictures of a motorola xoom case but I can't find out who makes the case or where to get it. Anybody own this case or know anything about it?
pics are attached
This case specifically I haven't seen. But I've seen many similar to it. Such as the ones by BLUREX, Bear Motion, and CaseCrown. I personally have the Case Crown one.

Thanks for mentioning those. I mean they are all nice cases. In fact, I almost got the bear motion cause its on sale at amazon. But I am particularly interested in this one. I really like the back and the fact that it snaps. Not that I'm sure this is a plus but the aesthetics are nice. Plus the cut outs are precise and the quality looks good if you zoom into the pictures. I hope someone knows something about it.

Yeah I actually sell them. (I'm a manager for a cellphone accessory store) I order them from a distributer called valor. Look here
I usually try to keep like 5 on hand, but they've been out of stock for weeks. I have one myself and I love it but I feel like I have to hide it because when I show it to customers they want one too lol, and I'm not able to get them at the moment.

Looks promising, I just don't like the part you slip the Tab into. I hate the way the Tab looks in cases like that. I much prefer the case holding the Tab in place at the four corners or like a true smart case like Apples.

After three days of using it, do not buy, the material stretch so bad i can't reach the volume or power control, can't plug the power with the case close. But mostly is a price of cap, don,t waste your 20 bucks.

it's not hard, but
a) on some cases its on the bottom if you open it a certain way
b) if you can avoid pressing buttons, you can avoid wear and tear on them, I know many people have problems on many different smart phones with the power button wearing out...
Regarding the fact that the button is on the bottom on some cases, what does that have to do with this case if the button isn't on the bottom? Just wondering?
What is everybody talking about? There is no sleep/wake on the Tab

Of course there is. If you check the dealextreme website, a highly reputable distributor of Chinese manufactured stuff, you will see that the product information clearly states that it has the sleep/wake function... Although, come to think of it, I'm guessing most cases come with the ability to operate when you are both awake or asleep... Hmm...

A realy perfect Leather Case

from ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270831391457&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:OC:AU:1123
review:
After my first disapointing buy from ebay i bought this "sexy"
synthetic leather case.
Its weight is 290 grams.
Is a very-very slim case and when it closed, the case is tightly fixed on the tablet.
It has 3 deep grooves for standing and the tablet is very stable in these positions.
The philosophy of this case is "to not hiding nothing from the tablet when you use it."
On the back side there is a gentle opening for the camera.
It smells like leather.
The close clip aplly a good force to keep the case closed.
Every button or socket of the tablet is accesible with closed case
And finally i am happy, and this is the most important
Looks good, does it have a typing angle? What is the name?
also are you able to charge the tab without having the case open? i have one such and i need to have my case open each time i charge which is a pain
This is maybe the case I'm looking for. Can you please share the name and the link for the case. Since you can't post links, replace for examples the dots of the url with spaces or some other characters.
Maybe this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320786081962#ht_2592wt_1165
You have to open the case when charging (if I remember right).
I bought this. Premium quality indeed.

I must say the case looks really nice!
I was wondering about the 3 viewing angles though - do they firmly support the Tab? Would hate to buy it and then find out it slips and falls out when I set it up on one of the angles (I saw that happen before...). Also, is it possible to use this case to prop your Tab up when you put it in your lap (in bed or something similar)? Or is it too flimsy?
And do you feel the extra weight when you carry the tab around? I really love how light it is right now, you don't even notice you have it in your bag (with the standard samsung pouch on) and it's really easy to hold it in one hand and typing with the other if you're walking around the house.

The gaps for the 3 viewing angles are deep enough, and yes you can use it in your lap, my wife do it often.

is still light it is just 290 grams more.
but if you want to use it with one hand, i think that the best way is

The same case, with a new name, posted once again in a new thread. This was $12 on amazon last week.
Really? I sure couldn't find it when I looked (didn't look really hard though)
Doesn't really matter though, if it's a good case I'm more then willing to spend $23 on it. The most basic samsung pouch costs 25€ (about $35) here :S.

For people trying to find one from the UK...
I purchased a look a like case from here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005ECHQ4C
I was struggling to find it as cheap as in the US for example.
The one from the above link, seem to be very good so far. All viewing angles work great, both on a flat surface and on my lap. The typing position is my most used.
'Leather' quality seems good so far. Of course it is going to add some weight, but not really an issue for me. ALL ports/buttons are fully accessible, inc charging when case is closed.
its a great case

New Alpina wallet case for Galaxy Nexus

Just purchased this direct from korea, it's call the alpina 2 edition jelly wallet case. Cost me approximate USD 35.5 inclusive of shipping.
This case is a combined wallet and jelly/ptu case in one, the case wallet and case is held together with velcro, you can buy this for other phones, the only differences is the size of the wallet and the jelly/ptu case that comes with it, some sellers will also throw in 1-2 screen protectors.
It's available in 7 colours.
Thanks for the recommendation, this casing really looks nice. I would like to purchase it but it's all in Korean and i don't know which option to choose...and from what i see it there isn't a Galaxy Nexus option casing? I only see Galaxy SII and the Note being the latest one

There is only 1 kind of paypal option available...called Paypal express. I don't see any option to pay using the normal paypal.
Man I think i will just wait a few more days and try again. Thanks for all of the help though, you've been really helpful!
Which choice would I use in the 2nd drop down to get the red/black one?
How does the included jelly case secure to the inside of the wallet.....just velcro? Or is there some sort of more secure holster?

The second drop down labelled 02블랙/레드(5000won), the jelly is held by velcro, and is pretty strong, the only problem with the jelly, is was the headphone socket does not work properly, you need to make the hole bigger, I used my own jelly instead, put in a mercury tpu instead, you can use this wallet with any other phone.
The velcro stuck on the jelly is pretty strong, if you do remove the velcro and use it with a different case, dont use the cheap double sided tape, it wont hold and will comes off if you separate the jelly/wallet for normal use, just use a better quality double sided tape, the carpet type double sided tape, i've used a perfessional type which has a inside nylon lined, but remember to clean off excess tape using alcohol before putting the new tape on for better finished.
the standard jelly is a black one, but i used a lime/green to match the case, as you can see the photo below. When i do find some green velcro it will replace the black, i will also put a second piece to the bottom for a more secure fit, although with just one it will not come loose.
this looks great, maybe I'm gonna buy this one.
Is there a purple one? If so, which option is it?

Bluetooth Keyboard and Stand

I mainly bought this tablet for school. I was looking into a good bluetooth keyboard with Android specific shortcuts like Home, Recents, Back and Menu. I was looking at the Motorola Wireless Keyboard with Trackpad seeing that it also has a trackpad. But I notice that it has a search button instead of Recents. Would I be able to remap the search button to work for Recents instead?
Also I was looking at stands. I prefer to have a stand alone stand and not a case/stand combo because I love the sleekness of this tab. I was looking at the Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand but it looks kinda flimsy. Last thing I want is this thing flipping over and breaking.
Can anyone give me some thoughts or other suggestions if need be?
Edit: I just seen the ErgoPROP Ergonomic Display Stand. I think I am sold on this one. Has anyone ever used this stand before?
I have this keyboard http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-...089&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+android+keyboard, and I love it. It's case doubles as a stand.
I agree too, i bought ithe logitech and love it. I haven't tried other keyboards, but im pretty happy with the logitech so i dont think theres really a need to try a new one
I have two of the Arkon stands, which I use with both the Note and my ThinkPad - a heavier, bulkier tablet. The stand is not flimsy at all and has held up well in constant use. I've had the two stands for more than a year. Very portable, but also very sturdy.

You'd been saying a no, reason being the weight of the product?
The price is not the prime issue, my reason to vouch for it is it being the product by Samsung for Samsung...
I'm confused because there aren't a lot of products directly available in India
My reason is based on the size of the Note. It is bigger than the model that item is made for. That said, it's your $.
You were right.
I did little checking too with the local dealer.
Besides that, I even mailed the Customer Care at Samsung and asked them for details.
They have reverted back saying it is not compatible.
What would your suggestions for a keyboard case be like?
Are Samsung Guys at all planning for something like this?
I'm looking for one myself. Haven't found one I like, yet. Check out this thread for help. The first couple of posts are not helpful since they talk about one for the Tab, maybe even the one you found. The rest of the posts may be quite helpful, just depends.

Hmm...
Its kinda sad but Samsung ain't taking a lotta effort it seems.
Hundreds of options (After Market) are available.
Belkin, Kensington etc... have organised accessories but I think / rather I would wait for Samsung.
Hope its not a LONG one...
Thing is, it's still kind of early. Could be Samsung is letting the aftermarket handle things. Who knows?
Think you're right.
Anyway its nice to know I'm not the only one on the lonely road.
I'm pretty sure though the options will be available in Europe / US markets comparatively earlier than India (Asia).
If so, can you be kind enough to inform me of the product?
Thanks.

I have an identical stand sold under a different brand name. I stopped using it when I got a ZAGGFolio for my old Tab 10.1, but since I don't have a proper keyboard/case combo for the Note 10.1, I'm using the stand again.

Because it is for the Tab 10.1, not the Note 10.1.
It's VERY well established that any case specifically made for the Tab or Tab2 10.1 will NOT fit the Note 10.1.

I have two of the Arkon stands, which I use with both the Note and my ThinkPad - a heavier, bulkier tablet. The stand is not flimsy at all and has held up well in constant use. I've had the two stands for more than a year. Very portable, but also very sturdy.

Thanks I ordered my arkon the other day I'm waiting for it to come in. I went ahead and got the motorola bluetooth keyboard with trackpad and I am in love with this keyboard. The build quality is great it feels nice and solid. Pairing is quick and easy and the mouse pad works great now i just need to find out how can I map the call button on the top right to bring up recents and ill be set
