At least it has LOS14.1

Thank you for your work, we need an alternative to MIUI, deep sleep work?

During ROM developing for any device, we must fix all bugs first on a rom which have same android version as stock rom.
I mean stock rom has Android 5.1 so we must fix everything on CM12.1 first.
But is very hard. I still do not understand why CM12.1 has so many bugs.

Theoretically we can port newer Android version (like Marshmallow) but before this we must fix everything on 5.1.1

I understand but i have never developed roms for Tegra chip.
I have experience of building for Intel and Snapdragon only

There is a very strange situation with deep sleep.
It looks like it works on prebuilt kernel from MIUI but on this kernel everything like Wifi, bt and etc are dead.
But on kernel which i built from source wifi and BT is OK but deep sleep is dead.
It is a very strange. And i really puzzled due to it

LOL.
I developed RR 5.7.4 Marshmallow for mipad 2 during 4 month.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-pad/development/rom-resurrection-remix-mm-5-7-4-t3526898
But now we must fix lollipop first and only after this we can get a stable marshmallow.

I see, thank You!
5.1 is not bad. Now I'm on leaked AOSP build for mipad2, I'm happy for everything, but random reboots and drain battery occurs.
If stable CM 12.1 will appear - it will be fine, I'm flash it.

I don't know. You cannot fix it because xiaomi has not released proper/full source code for the device. Without it, you are basically a handicap.
But new MIUI ROM (from xiaomi.eu) for mipad2 is working good, they have significantly improved the battery life in latest builds.
But thanks for contiributing and your interest in our device. Hopefully you will be able to achieve the fully working ROM.
Cheers!

Well, guys, i am testing a new CM12.1 build.
One hour is passed and battery level is still same.
So i am not sure but it looks like that at least deep sleep is OK.
BTW, it looks i found a reason why sensors is dead.
Dmesg has this:
<11>[ 182.639903] init: cannot execve('/system/bin/msync'): No such file or directory
<11>[ 182.640453] init: Warning! Service otpserver needs a SELinux domain defined; please fix!
<11>[ 182.640785] init: cannot execve('/system/bin/coreu'): No such file or directory

<11>[ 182.645104] init: cannot execve('/system/bin/hdcpd'): No such file or directory
THe problem is rom has all this files in /bin folder but init can not find it.

Hello? Mi Pad 2 also exists! And unfortunetly, it has a much smaller development team than Mi Pad 1 does :/

Maybe init is ignoring the binarys because of missing selinux? Are you booting with selinux enforced?
BTW: execve seems to be a permission problem.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

Thanks
EDIT: found the error
Is this almost the same as stock (without the Moto Apps), right?
This rom has better performance than stock?
Thx.
So main thing is... Does GPS bug in cm12 and other custom roms still show up or is it fixed in this?

I didn't notice that. The phone freezes ? It appends when you wake up the phone ?
Cores from little cluster should be still online cause the phone can't run without at least one core online.
Also, did you flash/install something like scripts or kernel apps after flashing the ROM ?

Just read the changes in first post this rom seems perfect that clear all button is a God send. Sorry to ask but how difficult would it be to build marshmallow? I noticed the N4 has a build for it now.

This rom is so much better than stock!!
This is kinda strange... Since Moto stock roms are pretty close to pure android...
So, is there a way to install Moto Voice on it? Because I miss too much the voice functionality...

#POST 3 - Screenshots
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6 (marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
Please keep in mind that this ROM is not for daily use, I am just releasing it because somebody may be willing to give it a try. But I will do my best trying to solve the bugs in order to get to a stable LOS13.
First I will post the bugs. Please read this before flashing the ROM.
Working:
It boots up ^^
WLAN
Audio
Network and data
Camera but it is not focusing
OTG
Bluetooth
Home button (hardware buttons removed)
Not working:
Camera focus
RIL reset on outgoing calls
Not charging while being off.
Fingerprint sensor
Rest you tell me
If someone tries this ROM and finds a bug not listed here I will add it to the list. Soon I will start working on the bugs listed above to see if we can get a stable LOS13

Maybe not

Keep up the good work, I am bored with miui rom
Please update i waiting...
For those who are asking for an update, I am working on it but I am not succeding in fixing any bug. I only solved some things that could be the cause of some bugs but the bugs are still there. Whenever a big bug is fixed I will upload an update.
Also for the one who asked for official lineage, it is impossible as lineage won't make a ROM for a phone that does not have the source code of the kernel released

If anyone is interested in getting that ROM with some fixes that I said in order to try to fix any of the existent bugs just tell me and I will upload it.
What I did is chaging the boot.img because it was loading wrong drivers as I had not modifyed it and it was loading Apollo Lite drivers. Now it is loading the RM Pro camera drivers but, as I said, the bugs remain the same

Edit: got it booting by flashing the boot and system imgs but the zip package is not working. Looks like I failed somewhere in coverting the imgs to .dat. Will try to find that error later [emoji14]
Sorry for the questions ,Are the kernel sources from the Apollo lite going to help in our case ? Its almost identical to redmi pro

Am I the only 1 who has problems with netflix?
Thank you tank0412 for this great rom!
If someone wants to root this rom, don't install the latest release (bootloop). Try UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip from chainfire
via twrp (sorry this is my first post and i am not allowed to post a link). After that I was able to install supersu in the play store and update it with the "normal" option.

It's working fine here. Try using Solid Explorer as a file manager and use it to move the app, since I used it and everything is working fine, just don't forget to give it root permissions.

and how do I move solid explorer to /system?
Why solid explorer can remount /system rw and other apps (eg. Link2SD) can't? (Failure: device or resource busy)

I'm comming from MM rom, in Nougat we have to
Code:
busybox mount -o rw,remount system
to get rw access in all apps.
Hey, what API is??

Why would you want rw access on all apps? That is a major security flaw, since a malicious app could cause a massive damage to the system.

I need it just for 5 minutes to tweak the system.
Malicious app won't make any harm unless I decide to download, install, run and grant root privileges.
So it needs my attention 4 times.
Send me a link to any malicious app I want to test my a antimalware filters.
I'm serious.
In case of damage I can always restore system in TWRP. I keep backup in safe place.
I made damage to the system many times, using safe apps from Google Play LOL.

3G is working here, so it's an isolated case.
Even though it is there, if you enable LTE nothing will happen, so no worries.

Isolated case meaning plz
I tried to change the settings when you dial *#*#4636#*#* also but it didn't work
So clean flashed again also didn't work
Then tried my previous ROM of LOS and 3G was working again
Hope in next update it would start working because this ROM is much more stable then LOS and so light that my titan boots up in 30 sec or less !
Anyways thanks for an Awesome CAF based ROM

Isolated case means it doesn't happen with everyone, so it's probably related to something on your end.
I've released a new update including some optimizations and UberTC, try it and see if it helps.
3G isn't working again...that's my Titan issue I guess

I've just uploaded a new build, even though it's not likely to fix your problem, you could still try it.
Also, check if your bootloader version is 48.87, because when it is outdated, you may experience problems related to internet connection.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:

A lot.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.
It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps).
LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo.
And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

This build uses the f500k kernel sources and v29 blobs.
That means that it uses latest available kernel and blobs.
The difference between gensixx's unofficial and this is that this uses Titan kernel and kessaras's device tree sources.
For taking system logs please read this article:
taking logs
New location of last_kmesg is: /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops. So the command is now:
Code:
cat /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops-0 > /storage/emulated/0/last_kmsg.txt
If you want just to take logcat in the system, you can use apps from this article.
For camera I recommend using Google camera with hdr+ from here https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/
I use Arnova's 5.1.014_v9.1 with this config:
Model: Pixel XL(Corr)
Config camera hdr+: Nexus 6
HDR plus parameters: high.
You can play with these parameters and compare the photos to get the settings most suitable for you.

Well I wanted to build a LOS as we do not have LOS maintainer any more. And with kasseras help I was able to compile it. This is my first rom that I ever built. It uses kessaras's device tree and kernel. I will try to contribute as much as I can as I am able to debug and fix bug's. For example trying to find why the play store refuses to install some apps took quite time for us.
But I am writing my diploma thesis now so I do not have that much time.

Good luck with your thesis and with your future career. Toó as ROM máster
Just wanted to explicitly say thank you to @tulen_kobi for taking your time to do this! I'm very used to LOS, and this runs perfectly, at least for two days now. I switched from official LOS (20p, official kernel etc.) and I can also say battery life is much better, though that's likely due to Titan primarily.
And of course thank you @kessaras for your continuing development, it's good to see the Play Store issue is gone (in app purchases also work without any hiccups now). This is now my daily driver. Very happy to get to keep my G4 still up to date
No issues, no logcats!

FM radio and there is a new discovered bug that system camera does not save the video taken, any other camera app can do it fine.
I hope they will fix the save video taken problem, as I'm used to use the stock camera app. I tried Camera-FV5, but it's not so good looking and the interface Is ugly and not user friendly imo.

You can install Snapdragon camera as another app and then it will work.
Edit: it does not try OpenCamera from play store as we are trying to figure out why it is not working.

I see what you mean. Have the same error, I didn't notice before since I didn't record with heavy focus changes.
But there is another issue: If AWB is not on automatic on google camera, the preview goes insane while focusing and flickers a lot.
Thank you so mych for the work.
Do you think that I could dirty flash your ROM from genesixx 's build?
