Bluetooth mouse not working with Moto Z Play - Moto Z Play Questions & Answers

I have a Xiaomi Mi Mouse that can be connected both via Bluetooth and an included USB dongle (OTG).
With the Moto Z Play (Android 7) only the dongle-method is working. When I pair the mouse via bluetooth, nothing happens. I've also tested this with a LG G Flex 2 (Android 5.1.1) and had no issues there - the cursor instantly appeared after pairing the mouse.
Is there any way to get this working on the Z Play?

Note 8.0 with the PS3 Gamepad

Hello guys,
I can't get my PS3 Gamepad to work fully with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 3G Version. I have an OTG cable and a standart USB cable. The tablet is recognizing the OTG cable, but when I connect the controller and hit the PS button just the digital navigation buttons are working. I can hit X O square and what ever I want, no button is working.
The device is not rooted and it's running on the latest OTA update.
Greetings
Eric
I'm not using a wired controller. You can use a wireless controller with the Sixaxis app on the play store though. That's what working for me right now.

Note 8 might not be supporting game controllers natively fully by itself, It did not work with my 360 wired controller either , however using an app from play store made it work (no root required).
try the USB/BT joystick center app demo from play store and see if that it works for you.

[Q] SM-T310 and gamepad Logitech F510

Hello!
Does anyone tried to connect gamepad to 8" version?
I have Logitech F510, which works fine on Windows and it determines on tablet. I added kl file with proper VID and PID to /system/usr/keylayout but it still doesn't work, there's no keypresses at all, not in games, not in Gamepad Tester.
Any ideas how to solve it?
I tried this gamepad on Sony Xpera U, but the phone says that device need to much power so it just disconnects it. But when connected to tabled, device have power because vibration works fine.

Pc usb joystick on z1 compact

Hi guys, I've bought Hama pc usb joystick to play with it on my z1 compact but it doesn't work, I tried connecting usb flash drive and mouse with otg cable and they work but joystick doesn't, I also tried connecting that joystick to LG G2 with same otg cable and it worked, why it doesn't work on my z1 compact?
I know I tried this also a while back with a gamepad and it didn't quite work either. Only some buttons worked and only forward and backward axis. I just gave up after that so if anyone can figure this out I'm also interested.

[STOCK OREO][5X] Bluetooth cannot find some devices

So, I have a Daydream Controller I'm trying to pair with my Nexus 5X. On Android Nougat, it was as easy as launching the Daydream app, and hold the home button to pair the controller. However, with Android Oreo, it does not work! I went to Bluetooth settings to check whether the device detects the Daydream Controller, but it doesn't. However, on my laptop, the controller shows up as "Daydream Controller"... Furthermore, I tried with some more devices (bluetooth headset is detected, my laptop is detected). What do you think the issue is? Am I missing out something?
Edit: I want to add that I have Magisk installed (I am rooted).
