[EMUI 5.0] Boot Animation - P8lite Themes and Apps

720p - http://www46.zippyshare.com/v/qin1UeaG/file.html
1080p - http://www46.zippyshare.com/v/g8ElO1u3/file.html

Thanks for the files. I was looking for them for a long time
Btw this is where to put the new boot animation files in EMUI 4 roms
bootanimation.zip /system/etc/media
bootsound.ogg /system/media/audio/animationsounds
rw- r-- r-- for both and it's recommended to just rename the old ones not deleting them
UPDATE: not working. Almost tried everything and still not working. The device boots without any boot animation just black screen

If anyone wants one, I could create a flash able zip. Still learning stuff and this is not that hard. But only if anyone is interested. No worries I will test it myself before I publish anything

Well, Look at the Original Android Development section. Someone created a tool that makes a flash able zip file out of your bootanimation. Go check it out.

You need root ?

you should be able to convert the qmg to multiple png files.. then just build your own bootanimation.zip
try this software..
http://quramsoft.com/solution_e/qmage.asp
(found by googling your problem )
EDIT..
mm no software on that link.. mmm
EDIT #2
mmmm no way of editing.. my bad sorry.. but there should be a way of just copying the bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg out..
its one of the best i have seen ..
here's the qmg files... (added to a media.rar (just unrar it and try)
you can try and copy them into system/media (may not work but hey worth a try??)
thanks ..recharging phone..will try once done.. unless someone else out there has tested it
edit
it works.. thx.. just need to replace the files and give it the correct permissions..
Is this boot animation that good??

Yeah... totally awesome. Especially compared to the Villain's bootanimation.
It works fine with the 2 qmc files in system\media\

Swyped from my Galaxy S II using Tapatalk
I also have this bootanimation on a sammy rom, but now, I use Siyah's dualboot kernel and D4 rom.
And on the D4 rom bootanimations are zipfiles.
Someone already find it out if there is a zip file from this bootanimation?
Or how to create it out of a .qmg file?
if need this animation, shall we set the permission or just let it reboot?
Thanks,

[REQ] Flashable Android L Bootanimation that works on Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys, I've tried to flash and/or manually install every iteration of the new Android L bootanimation onto the Gnex with either the result of a black bootscreen or the phone simply does not boot at all until I return the current bootanimation I have. I don't know what the issue is or what I have done wrong, I've tried modifying the dimensions with no resolution either.
So I humbly ask, could someone get a working version of the new Android L Bootanimation in flashable form for the Galaxy Nexus? Please.
I just transfered the bootabimation.zip to the correct folder while backing up the old.
I went the old fashioned way without using a flashable zip

Still doesn't work. I even did a fresh install with the bootanimation added to system/media where it's supposed to go and all I get after the Google splash is one little green pixel and then the screen stays black until the phone is booted. I have done no modifications to the bootanimation.zip on this or any of the others I have tried, I simply delete the bootanimation.zip already in system/media and then add the Android L bootanimation. It simply does not work at all. I really don't understand what the problem is. Every other bootanimation I've tried out works fine.
I have no idea then. I literally just changed the old one to bootanimation.zip.old and copied the new one over.
@Nephilim
Did you try to move it to data/local ?
I'll also mention that for me it worked on Omni FML. So unless you're using OMNI FML it could be something rom specific.

Putting the bootanimation.zip in data/local? I don't understand, I've always put it in system/media. Could you explain? I don't see a bootanimation.zip in data/local currently.
Trust me! I always do it that way. I don't remember why (some guy mentioned it in a bootanination thread), but it works for me without an issue... You may even leave the system animation, it gets ignored...

what you needed to do after pushing the zip to either data/local OR system/media was set permissions on the file correctly
rw-r--r--
THEN reboot

yeay, it work on PA 4.44 . thanks man
I finally got this to work....
I have the Boostmobile CDMA XT1031 variant and I am running Stock 4.4.4.+Xposed.
I had to manually set the permissions of that bootanimation file of yours to: rwxr-xr-x.
All that work to get the Android L boot animation to work on stock!
Didn't worked for me at first try then I did this:
1) Change the permissions of the bootanimation file that you pasted in system/bin (change it to -rwxr-xr-x)
2) Change the permissions of bootanimation.zip that you pasted in system/media and change the permission as you changed it for above file.
3) Reboot and enjoy!
Very nice!! :good:
I will make a flasheable zip to it easy!
Please port it to CM12

It worked on my Boost Mobile moto g (xt1031). At first I had problems but then I realized that I forgot to change permissions ?. Here is the install method: (I don't know much about the features when you post so I guess you'll have to share this reply somehow for those that have problems and could have some help)
1. Backup "bootanimation" located in system/bin (I just make a folder in my Downloads calling it backup______ and place it in there)
2. Rename attachment from "bootanimation.txt" to "bootanimation" Copy and paste the "bootanimation" into system/bin (yes you replace it (or overwrite whatever ot says).
3. Change file's permissions to rwxr-xr-x
4. There is no "4" you're done. However, if you have a theme loaded in your rom I think you're going to have to update the boot animation back to stock in your theme settings.
Restoring:
1. Rename backup to "bootanimation" and paste to system/bin.
2. Change permissions to rwxr-xr-x
If you need help i'll try to help based on what I know

[BOOT ANIMATION] [ROOT] [SHARE] Marvel DC Boot animation.

Hi all,
I was looking for some cool bootanimations for my redmi and came across this a few weeks back.
I dont remember where i found it but it looked damn cool, when I decompressed it i saw it was in 1080p so I just downsized it to hd(720*1280).
Again, this is not my work, I just downsized and shared it. Credits go to respective developers. (Could not find the real Dev :crying
Prerequisites:
1. Rooted phone.
2. Very little knowledge of system partitions.
3. 15mb free space in system partition.
Installation method:
1. Download file from from the attachment.
2. Delete existing "bootanimation.zip" from /system/media/ using any root enabled file explorer. (I use es file explorer).
3. Copy "marvel-dc bootanimation.zip" to /system/media/ and rename it to "bootanimation.zip".
4. Change the permissions to -rw-r--r--
5. If you are using CM themes then keep the bootanimations field to system default.
6. Enjoy
You can find the preview in the attachment.

Two points you forgot to mention.
- Change the permissions to -rw-r--r--
- if you have a theme installed, you need to select system boot animation before it will come into effect or else the theme boot animation will keep playing.
Amazing animation though!
Cheers!

Owl Boot animation 720x1280 (not qmg)

Yesterday I made a boot animation for my GF and I'm happy with the result so I decided to share. She likes owls so I made it an owl.
This is my first boot animation so nothing too fancy here but I like it and most importantly she likes it too. I will most likely make some other animations too and I post them here.
Preview
(It does not loop that way. When the owl jumps off the phone starts).
Instructions:
-For stock roms this should enable the use of bootanimation.zips: Thread
-Copy the bootanimationOWL.zip to root/system/media.
-Change the name of the original bootanimation to for example "bootanimation.zip.bak"
-Change the name of the new animation to "bootanimation.zip"
-Give the file permissions:
r -w -x
r -x - x
r -x - x (rw-r-r)
-Reboot!
Feel free to send your homemade or any boot animations that suit our j5. If anyone is interested of how to make one or have any questions I will gladly share my knowledge and try to answer. Also if anyone wants to make modifications to the animation I can send the adobe illustrator file and or adobe animate file that I created making this.
In case you run into trouble with boot animations then just rename the original .zip to "bootanimation.zip" and remove the one that causes issues.
Happy owling!
